"Chain spells are about the fluid movement of energy from witch to witch....."He pauses "Where's Penelope Park?" We're all sat in a circle hands connected Im in between Josie and Hope hands intertwined.
I'm trying to ignore Hope at the moment but it's hard when your same species and in every lesson together and share a dorm. Im not angry at her but I just disappointed that she kept that big of a secret.
"Um, lady cramps, Mr. Williams" Lizzie answers
"Sorry I asked...A disharmonious group
makes for an uneven flow" students start giggling apart from me and Hope at the statement.
He's about to continue but then a magical note flies into the room "Lizzie Saltzman, Josie Saltzman, Ava Williams and baby makes four off you go to library"

"This makes no sense, Dad Why are we being punished?"Lizzie exclaims
Of course I know what I did it seems Alaric didn't like me and Hope doing black magic I tune out Lizzies rambling. I feel eyes on me the whole time I know it's Hope but I refuse to look her way she needs to know that her secret hurt me.
"Can I at least offer a rebuttal in my defense?" Lizzie takes a breath and at that I know bunch of rubbish is about to come out of her month.
"If it pleases the court?" Alaric sighs and Lizzie continues
"First of all, I was provoked my response was totally proportional considering the levels of abuse that I was forced to endure and secondly...if anyone should
take the blame, it's Josie"
"What?"Joise says in shock "I'm sorry I totally cracked under cross, but if you had just let Kaleb catch the ball..."
"You'd still be in trouble" I smirk
"But nice job throwing your sister under the bus"
"Thank you, Hope" joise smiles at her and Lizzie shocked she just fraternise with the supposed enemy.
"Speaking of, the bus leaves in ten minutes, and I expect all four of you to be on it,working together today, harmoniously and without drama End of debate"
"I wasn't even at the game Why am I being punished?" Hope defends herself but me and Alaric know why
"You know what you did All right, now, go, all of you"
"So, what did you do? My dad never gets mad at you you're the prodigal daughter must have been juicy." Lizzie asks Hope as we all step of the bus.
"Sorry, no time for girl talk public service awaits" Hope walks away from Lizzie and stands opposite her.
"All right, listen up it's a beautiful day you got options: litter, weeds, graffiti your choice" Dorian tells us and I'm not really interested in any of it but this seems like a perfect time to try and sneak a snack.
Dorian passes the litter picker to kaleb "It's bad enough we get punished while the humans get a pass, but there ain't no way in hell I'm picking up their garbage" he passes it to Lizzie who grimaces "Uh, I don't do trash either" she holds it out "I love trash, as of this moment" Hope snatches the picker from her.
"Perf. It suits you" she fake smiles at Hope "Looks like we're scrubbing paint today" she directs her attention towards Josie
"Dad told us to work together, okay, harmoniously"
"Yeah, and he also said without drama, and I am feeling a rage attack coming on, so I will be remaining drama-free over by that wall of graffiti are you coming or not?"
"I don't know, Lizzie, is there another bus
you want to throw me under?" Josie says as she goes to stand beside Hope a feeling of jealousy rises in my stomach.
"Fine, Daddy's girls anyone else?" She looks at me and I look at her then too hope and can't seem to physically or emotionally betray Hope.
"I'm gonna do weeds" I say as I grab some gloves "Fine Mg you coming with me" she grabs his arm and pulls him over to the graffiti wall
"Hey could we talk for a second" I look to my right and see Hope this definitely isn't a conversation I want to have while hungry "Um we can talk later?" I smile and turn away from her and walk over to the weeds a bunch of them have overgrown im not really interested in doing this so I just mutter a quick spell and there gone I look around and nobody saw me.
I could help the other with there jobs but that's boring so I walk over to a little shop and spot a woman she'll do I walk over compel her and feed on her I compel her again and heal her and let her walk away just as im about to step out of the bathroom hope walks in I purse my lips
"What are you doing?" For some reason I can't lie or I don't want too so I tell her a half truth "Going to the bathroom" she looks unconvinced and I sigh "I was just feeding and the human is fine"
"Your not meant to feed on humans" I scoff "You really expect me to follow that stupid rule" she walks closer "Yes because that's a rule of school you go to and it risks exposing the rest of us"
"Hope I'm part vampire I can't be feeding on animal blood nor should any other vampire at that school once they go out into the real world their going to lose control on human blood and kill somebody"
"Ava it's the rules of the school" i look at her in disbelief since it like she didn't hear a thing I just said I step closer "Are you gonna tell on me?" I send her a teasing smile " You know since we are mating I could be feeding on you" her eyes flash golden and I smile.
"Once you activate you vampire side I'll let you feed on me it can be quite euphoric"our lips are inches apart and I could almost taste her I feel my fangs against my lips but she pushes me away and I frown she clears her throat.
"I'm not gonna tell Alaric but you can't carry on doing it" I sigh and for some reason I want to listen to her demand this mate bond is unbelievable.
"Okay love" I send her one last look and walk out I see Josie and decide I'm gonna help her I walk up "Need help?" She looks at me.
"Hope was helping but she went and chased after you"
"So your still mad at me?"
"Nope just annoyed" I sigh "I'm sorry Josie for what I did" it take her a couple of seconds but she turns back to me "It's fine just everyone finds her so special"
"She's not she was just there" she smiles "Well your forgiven" I smile
"Thanks but let's finish this quickly" I grab a picker just as Hope walks over I get to work as fast as I can without exposing myself and everyone. Hope and Josie seem to be having there own conversation maybe half argument and half conversation I tune out until I hear
"Because there's nothing to tell. Aah!" I look over to see Hope and Josie and Josie crouched down next to Hopes foot I walk over.
"Are you okay? what do I do?" I look and see Hope has poked herself in the foot with the picker and I snicker she glares at me.
"Ow!" I pull it out quickly knowing she can heal herself.
"You poked yourself" Josie says with an amused smile and I start laughing and soon they start laughing too.
"Shut up"

After finding out about a gargoyle running through the school we convince Dorian to let us back to school to help we are currently looking for it through the school
"We should split up" I say and don't give them both a chance to reply and vamp speed off.
After searching for this gargoyle I come up empty and try to find Alaric once I do I see Hope and Josie with him we all walk into the main hall and see the gargoyle at the top of the stairs.
"Any ideas?" I say as the gargoyle flies down the stairs in front of us Hope seems frozen as it goes to hit her before I can react Alaric jumps in the way.
"No!"
"Dad! no!" Josie shouts but it stop short and looks at Alaric I raise my hand "Fluctus inpulsa"
"Hope, Josie help" and they rush over to me "Repeat after me" we link hands
"Fluctus inpulsa" we say over and over until the gargoyle exploses into ring pieces "Nice job" Hope says but Josie ignores her and directs her attention to Alaric
"How could you jump in front of her like that? You could have died, Dad" he looks at her with a sad look
"Honey, I knew it wouldn't kill me, because my research said..." before he could finish she walks off I shift awkwardly
"Nice job team" I chuckle awkwardly

I decide to sneak out of the school I head to mystic grill and compel myself some tequila after like 20 bottles of tequila and a bunch of people trying to hit on me I decide to call it a night I'm feeling a little bit drunk but not fully I make my way back what should have been like a 20 minute walk turns into an hour but I finally make it back and get to my room undetected while until I walk into my room.
"Where have you been?"
"Umm...Mystic grill" I slowly walk into the room
"What were you doing there?"
"Drinking" I reply
She gives me a look "Don't worry not humans"
She looks at with a quirked eyebrow. I walk over to her and now I'm standing not enough to be touching her but enough to smell her woody scent.
"What are you doing?" She asks me
I smirk and brush a loose hair behind her ear "Nothing, What are you doing?"
"You're drunk" the space between us is getting smaller and smaller "Barley" I whisper my lips are inch away from hers I feel my heart beating faster and can hear hers too
I look at her lips so plump and so soft "Can I kiss you?" She looks at me and nods
"Yes"
I don't wait a second later and our lips connect. Is this heaven?. It has to be right?. This feeling is indescribable my hand is on her neck with my finger running along her jaw her skin so soft and warm which runs through me at the touch of our skin.
The kiss gets more passionate and I move my hands to her waist and grip on to her not ever wanting to let go I disconnect our lips and trail kisses along her jaw then to her neck she seems to enjoy since she letting out little moans at every kiss and it's music to my ears she grabs the back of my head pushes me more into her if it is even possible I feel the pulse in her neck and I want nothing more to taste her but that pleasure will have to wait I move from her neck back to her lips placing a light kiss to her lips and pull away and lean my forehead on hers we're both heavy breathing.
"That was amazing"
"Yea" I chuckle at her response and let go of her
"Go on a date with me" I say to her she looks at me shocked but then smiles "If you can find a time between fighting monsters then sure" I laugh
"I'll kill every monster on this earth and the next if it means I get a date with you" she laughs and goes to sit down
I get ready for bed and lie down and fall asleep with the lingering taste of Hope Mikaelson on my lips.
