Harriet ran her fingers through her hair as she entered her office and locked the door behind her. She paused, tilting her head as she caught sight of Zoey leaning back against her desk.

"What a surprise, you're here," Harriet said, walking over to her desk and placing a brown envelope just behind Zoey.

"Can't I come into your office now?" Zoey replied, smiling at Harriet. "Besides, you messaged me to come down here," she added, furrowing her brows playfully.

Harriet chuckled and leaned in, kissing Zoey's neck. "Harriet," Zoey protested, pinching the hand that rested on her waist.

"What?" Harriet mumbled between kisses, laughter in her voice.

Zoey groaned lightly and gently pushed Harriet away. "We're in your office, on work premises," she reminded her.

Harriet grinned. "And? It's my lunch break. I'm supposed to eat my lunch, you know?" she said, smiling playfully at Zoey.

"And where's your lunch, then?" Zoey raised her brows in mock seriousness.

"It's right here, in front of me," Harriet said, lifting Zoey's chin to meet her gaze.

Zoey rolled her eyes. "You're impossible to deal with," she said, pulling Harriet's collar and giving her a quick kiss.

Harriet chuckled, cupping Zoey's cheeks and deepening the kiss. She lifted Zoey onto her desk, her hand sliding inside Zoey's pencil skirt, lightly pressing against her thigh.

Zoey softly moaned as Harriet's lips traveled to her earlobe, planting gentle kisses before biting it. "You need to tone it down a bit, sweetheart, unless you want everyone near my office to hear our little scene," Harriet murmured, playfully biting Zoey's neck.

Zoey laughed, throwing her head back and tugging at Harriet's hair. Just then, Harriet's phone chimed, causing her to click her tongue in annoyance.

Zoey chuckled, giving her a playful push. "Go on, it might be an emergency," she said, cupping Harriet's cheeks and pecking her lips.

Harriet checked her phone and found an email notification from Vera. "Ah, it's just Vera—about the case with your ex, Markus," she said, slipping her phone back into her pocket.

"Shall we continue where we left off?" Harriet asked, playfully eyeing Zoey.

Zoey shrugged and laughed, jumping off the desk. "We should eat real food. You won't be full if you're just eating me out," she said, chuckling as her face flushed.

Harriet groaned inwardly, holding Zoey's hand. "Fine, where would you like to eat?" she asked, unlocking her office door before stepping out with Zoey.

"Do you want to try the street market? Last time, you didn't want to go because you were grumpy," Zoey said, laughing softly.

Harriet glanced at Zoey. "Well, it's because you said no one wanted to stand beside me. Now look who's standing beside me," she teased, raising her brows playfully.

Zoey rolled her eyes. "Because I pity you—you're always alone," she replied, sticking out her tongue.

"Really? Huh?" Harriet said, suddenly tickling Zoey at her waist.

"No, no! I was just kidding!" Zoey gasped, struggling to suppress her laughter.

"Just admit it—you wanted to stay beside me the first time," Harriet said, trying to play it cool.

"Ha! Dream on," Zoey replied, shrugging but letting her arms wrap around Harriet's as she leaned her head on her shoulder while they walked out of the building.

Harriet sat beside Zoey in the open area where they planned to eat their lunch from the street market. Zoey glanced at Harriet and laughed softly.

"It's a surprise you're trying food that doesn't seem real for someone like you," Zoey said, watching Harriet chew on her sausage.

"What do you mean, someone like me?" Harriet replied, leaning forward and raising an eyebrow.

Zoey paused, lightly pushing Harriet's face away. "Too close, Doc," she said, sipping her freshly made juice. "People like you—rich and all," she shrugged and laughed.

"Well, maybe trying something new won't hurt, right? It's not like I've never eaten processed food in my life. A little indulgence every once in a while is great," Harriet said, scooping some buttered vegetables onto her fork.

Zoey smiled, turning to face Harriet fully. "Look at this kid," she said, pulling out a tissue and wiping the side of Harriet's lips. "I thought Riley was the only handful, but it turns out her sister is even more of a handful," Zoey mumbled, playfully pouting.

"Well, we're literally siblings; what do you expect?" Harriet replied, licking her lips, which were still oily from the sausage.

"Come closer," Zoey said, glancing around them.

"What is it?" Harriet asked, moving closer.

Zoey sighed, cupping Harriet's cheeks before kissing and licking her lips, leaving Harriet momentarily stunned. "There you go, all clean," Zoey said, giving a thumbs-up.

Harriet scoffed, licking her lips with a smile. "Wow, that's a bold move right there. I love it," she said, slowly clapping her hands.

Zoey laughed softly, picking up her drink. "Maybe I do this all the time, right?"

Harriet gulped and chuckled. "I wouldn't mind at all, sweetheart," she replied.

Zoey shook her head, smiling. "You'll get used to it," she said, pulling out her phone to check social media. Her notifications had been flooding in ever since Harriet started posting about them, even before they were officially together.

"What are you smiling at?" Harriet asked, trying to peek at Zoey's phone. Zoey turned the screen toward her. Harriet tilted her head to see Zoey's post—a picture of her smiling while eating, captioned "My Harriet" with a heart emoji.

Harriet felt her face heat up, covering her mouth in disbelief. "Goodness, you're not sick, are you?" she said, touching Zoey's forehead. "Wow, that's the first time you've posted my picture. I mean, you usually stick to low-key shots—like hats or hands or something."

Zoey laughed, revealing her dimples. "That's the purpose of a sneak peek, for the final reveal," she said, shrugging as she locked her phone.

"So this is how Ms. Zoey Foster loves, then?" Harriet said, leaning closer.

Zoey lightly pinched Harriet's nose. "You're lucky to be loved by me, Doc," she said, her smile brightening. "I love you," she added.

Harriet ran her fingers through her hair. "Oh gosh, I just can't handle you right now," she admitted, her face turning red.

Zoey burst out laughing at how Harriet's cheeks flushed like a tomato. "You should tell me you love me back," Zoey said, still laughing.

"Of course, I do love you! Just don't catch me off guard like that. I mean, you're turning me into feminine here," Harriet replied, giggling softly as she fanned her face with her hand.
