Megha ( POV ) " Yes aunty ...my exam went well. No I wouldn't be back home today. I have to practice for a function...so I'm going to my friend's house. Don't wait for me. " I told aunty that I will not be back home today. Since she locks the gate and I left my keys with her I thought it is right to let her know that I will not be going home. In just a few days she has become a family to me. And I don't want her to worry about me. " Here ..your favourite momos....now cheer up. Our exams have finally ended. " Said Sahara putting  the plate of momo's in front of me. " Why are you sad ? You have proved yourself right....they were wrong then why are you sad ? " asked sahara putting her arms around me pulling me in a hug . " How easy it was for them to think that I was cheating. They didn't even open that paper to see if it was what I was writing from. As if thinking it's math she will cheat on it. " I told her. I don't know why I am so hurt about it. Why was I thinking that he will atleast believe me ? " They're like that only . You don't think much about it. You're not wrong and we as your friends believe you. And only that should matter to you. " Said zoya sitting with her plate of food. I nodded. I should just focus on my work. " You're right . I shouldn't ruin my mood for them. " I told them and started eating my comfort food. With the warm soup I tried to heal what was slightly broken inside me. " That's the spirit. " Said Aditya joining us with his food tray. " And who told you that you can sit with us. " Said zoya looking towards him. " I told myself. " he said to her. " Guys exams are over , we should really focus on the upcoming events." Said Sahara and I think that's best to distract me from what's happening ." We should start practicing our play , write dialogue and do our research on it. "Said Aditya. Yes , I should really focus on other works than thinking about other stuff. " We are gathering in my house today why don't you join us. " Said Sahara to Aditya. " Well sounds like a good idea to me. " he replied her. It's time to understand reality and walk forward. Kaveri ( Kabir's elder sister) ( POV ) " Di , what are you doing? " asked kabir while sitting next to me. He looks very tired. Must be a very long day for him in the college. " Nothing just checking few copies. Are you hungry? Get fresh , dinner is ready. I will serve you first. " I told him. " Bhai has returned home ? " he asked about my husband samrat. Just in few days they have become such good friends. I have never seen kabir make friends before so it was a new experience for me to see that kabir himself making efforts to be friends with someone. My husband samrat is a lawyer. He didn't have any family and part of the reason he wanted to marry so bad was that he wanted a family. So I proposed that we stay with my family and he happily agreed. Kabir was more happy than me but ofcourse classic brother he never showed that openly. " Your bhai has return and is waiting for you to return to have dinner together. Mom went to visit her friend who is sick...will not eat dinner at home. " I told him. He nodded and went to freshen up. I reheated the food. Both samrat and kabir came in the dinning table to eat food. " You look tired bro everything alright. " Samrat asked kabir while sitting down. " It was a long day bro. " Said kabir in a  Complaining tone. " Why is megha's house locked? Hasn't she returned? " asked samrat looking towards the dark rooms. " She hasn't returned yet ? But she should have returned by now. " Said kabir looking concerned.  " She must have returned to her sister since her exams are over. " Said samrat. Kabir didn't say anything and took out his phone and dialled someone and talked for some time and now he looks even more worried." I have talked with sister zilla and by the way she talked with me I don't think megha is with her. She would have scolded me if megha was with her. " he said in a low voice. " Why she would have scolded you if megha was with her ? " asked samrat out of curiosity. " Today a teacher thought megha was cheating and I believed the teacher without thinking. " he said looking very guilty. " Was she ? " I asked him. " Of course not but I don't know why I didn't believed her that time. " he confessed looking more guilty. " Than I think it's bit serious, she is late and she doesn't have a phone with her. I think you should call her friends and see if she is with them. " Said samrat with a serious face. And from my experience I have learned that if samrat is serious the matter is dangerous. " I don't have ....wait .." kabir kept talking to himself. He looks too much worried. He called the office and told him to send information about three students. While the information was coming he was pacing the room worried. Information about three students came. He called one of them and talked with that student about a program and how is the preparation going. After sometime he looked much more relaxed. He talked some more and switched off the phone." She is in her friends house. See nothing to worry about. Di stop making fuss over little things. " Said kabir and I am like ' who me ? ' . " I am not hungry anymore. " he said and left the room. I looked at my husband who is smiling. " What's happening? " I asked him. " Mom told me about megha being in her friends house. Megha has informed mom before going. " he said camly . " Why haven't you said that to kabir? " I asked him. " I wanted to see his reaction and I did. Worth it. " he said. Sometimes I really don't understand him.
