i walked over to my desk and opened up my laptop, going to soundcloud. i searched "billie eilish" and clicked on her profile when it popped up. she, like she had said, had two songs. one was called "ocean eyes" and the other was called "six feet under."
i decided to listen to "ocean eyes" first so i clicked on it. a soft melody started playing.
"i've been watching you for some time. can't stop staring at your ocean eyes."
damn. she can sing really fucking good. i drummed my fingers against my desk to the beat, listening to the words carefully. i would definitely have to add this to my playlist.
"yo, i love this shit. i'm glad you have taste, bro." tyler said as he came into my room, plopping down on my bed.
"you know this song?" i asked.
"hell yeah. i just wish she'd release more songs. she's really good." he rambled.
"she is." i agreed. "funny too."
he sat up and gave me a questioning look. "what do you mean she's funny? have you talked to her?"
"yeah. she is who i've been texting these past couple days." i explained.
his eyes lit up. "dude, no way! that's so cool!"
i laughed as he went on about how cool it was. "i'll tell her you're a fan."

he got up from my bed and walked to the door. before he left, he turned to me. "see ya, loser."

i turned back around and clicked on "six feet under." i listened to it as it played.
"our love is six feet under. i can't help but wonder if our grave was watered by the rain, would roses bloom?" she sang.
