Snow has covered the entire land and everyone is in a Christmas spirit. Students are playing outside in the snow or packing their stuff. Tomorrow, everyone will go home for the holidays. Everyone, except a few, including me.
My parents had to go to Italy because my aunt got really sick. I decided that I would stay at Hogwarts, it's better than being alone in my house. At least there will be some people here.
I'm sitting in the courtyard admiring the beautiful snow covered castle. Hogwarts looks absolutely amazing during winter.
I want to speak with Remus before he leaves tomorrow. He hasn't heard about my last dreams, I think I should update him. I could use his opinion.
I also want to do some more research on the dream stuff. Considering I have plenty of free time during the break, I will be able to do it.
I'm cut out of my thoughts when I hear laughter. I turn my head to see the marauders throwing snowballs at each other.
"Oi, Padfoot!" James calls before throwing a snowball towards Sirius.
Sirius turns around and gets hit with the snowball, square in the face. The other three start laughing at him.
I can't help but smile at the group. I do miss them all, very much.
"Prongs, you prick! It's not funny!" Sirius complains while wiping the snow off of his face.
James only continues laughing.
Deciding that he has had enough, Sirius charges towards James.
They both fall over in a pile of snow. Sirius recovers quickly from the fall and starts throwing snow right at James's face.
Looking at the scene makes me realize, maybe the old James is finally coming back. You know, the one that doesn't call me a bitch.
I stand up from my spot and head towards the group. Sirius and James are too occupied with their own little fight to notice me.
I walk up to Remus and Peter. "Hi Remus, Peter!" I greet them both with a smile.
"Oh, hey Y/N!" Peter greets excitedly and Remus gives me a little wave.
"What are you doing here?" Remus asks. There are little snowflakes all over his sandy brown hair.
"Just enjoying the nice afternoon." I explain. "I was wondering-"
"Okay stop, it's bloody cold!" James laughs and tries to run away from Sirius.
He doesn't look in front of him and runs straight into me. The icy ground makes me slip and I fall with James on top of me.
I mumble a quiet 'ow' and James groans.
He raises his head and we make eye contact. His eyes widen when he realizes it's me who he ran into, not Remus or Peter.
We stare at each other for a moment. His glasses have droplets of melted snow on them, his hair is messy and has snowflakes all over it, his cheeks and nose have turned rosy from the cold.
"Oh I'm so, so sorry!" He suddenly speaks.
He quickly gets off of me and stands up. He offers me his hand, which I take and pull myself up.
I dust off the snow on my clothing.
"I'm so sorry Y/N, I wasn't looking where I was running! I didn't mean to run into you and make you fall over, it was an accident. Did you get hurt?" James rambles.
I look at him and burst out laughing. "Calm down James, it was an accident. I didn't get hurt."
"Thank Merlin," He sighs in relief.
He stares at me for a few seconds. "Are you sure you're fine?"
"Yes, I am. You can stop asking it." I laugh at him.
He grins feeling embarrassed and runs his hand through his hair.
I clear my throat and turn back towards Remus who has an amused look on his face.
"Uh, as I was saying, could we meet up in the library, after dinner?" I ask him.
"Yeah, sure!" He agrees.
I nod. "Okay, good. I uh, better get going." I point towards the castle awkwardly and start walking.
I hear a chorus of 'byes' and quickly make my way inside.
Third person pov:
James stares towards the castle's entering where Y/N just went.
Sirius uses that moment to pick up some snow and form it into a snowball. He throws the snowball right at James, it hits the side of his head.
"Nice one, James!" Sirius laughs.
Peter and Remus join in on the laughing.
"He sweeps his lady right off her feet," Sirius jokes and puts an arm around James's shoulder.
James has a grin on his face and turns towards Sirius. "Did you see how nice she was to me?"
"What did you expect? Did you think she would start yelling at you for that?" Remus grins.
"I don't know, maybe." James shrugs.
"I can see her doing that." Peter points out.
"Why do you always fall on top of each other?" Sirius questions James. "You two always end up on top of one another"

I walk towards the library with my notebook tucked under my arm. I wrote down every dream that I've had about the so called future. If it even is the future. Who knows.
The library is empty, with no student in sight. I walk over to a table and sit down. I place the notebook right in front of me.
Now we have to wait for Remus.
Five minutes passes and I hear the library door open. I look up from my hands and see Remus rushing towards me.
"Sorry, have you been waiting for a while?" He apologizes and sits down opposite of me.
"No don't worry, only like five minutes." I reassure him.
"Okay good. What did you want to talk about?" Remus asks.
I lift up my notebook for him to see. "New dreams," I hand him the notebook.
He takes it and opens it. "Let me guess, more James?" He smirks.
I roll my eyes. "I don't know why he's in them."
I sit and watch while Remus is reading about my dreams. I cringe as I watch his facial expressions, his eyebrows are raised and he's fighting off a smile. It's not working though.
"Can you please stop smiling?" I groan and hide my face in my hands.
"I'm sorry, but I can't." He laughs. He turns the notebook towards me and points to a line. "Do you think that James is touch starved?" He questions.
"Remus!" I complain and kick his foot under the table. I place my head on the table in embarrassment.
Remus laughs even more. "Sorry, I'll stop. But I think he is."
This is bloody embarrassing.
I wait for Remus to finish reading. After a few minutes he announces that he is done.
I lift my head from the table and sit up straight. Remus closes the notebook and places it on the table.
"These are some interesting dreams." He comments while trying not to grin.
"Oh are they, Remus?" I sarcastically smile at him.
He gives me a dorky smile.
"Okay, enough with the joking, here's what I think. Maybe all of these dreams are your future, depending on your choices. Maybe these are like, I don't know, the consequences of your choices and actions." He suggests.
I think for a moment. It could be that. That would explain why have died multiple times.
"But why do me and James die in so many of them? It seems like we definitely need to diel." I huff in annoyance.
"Well, you don't die in all of them. Maybe something bad will happen in the near future?" Remus tries to think of a logical explanation.
"It would make sense," I nod agreeing. "There was a hooded figure who killed us, some other people who killed James, some order or something, Dumbledore working with us." I ponder.
"Maybe we should tell Dumbledore or McGonagall. These don't seem like regular dreams, maybe we could get more answers." Remus suggests.
Should we?
"I don't know, maybe." I shrug my shoulders.
"But what about James?" I turn to look at Remus.
"What about him?" He looks at me confused.
"Do you think that I should tell him?" I ask, fidgeting with my sweater sleeves.
Remus nods. "I think you should, it's his future as well."
"If it is the future," I remind him. "But we don't have to tell him about me and him being a couple. It's not that important, and it could be just another choice, like you said earlier." I hesitate.
Remus gives me a look. "Really, Y/N? Tell me, how many dreams have you had where you and James aren't snogging?"
I feel my face get hot. "Well-"
"Let's open this notebook and count, in how many dreams do you have a kid with James, a kid who is always named Harry." He reaches for the notebook.
I quickly place my hand over the notebook. "Okay, okay, I got it. We don't need to count."
Remus crosses his hands over his chest, satisfied with my answer.
"You do realize that James is a very big part of your future, right?" He raises his eyebrow at me.
"I guess so." I mumble.
"So I think, he deserves to know the truth. I mean, how would you even tell him about the dreams if you cut out the parts of your relationship?" He questions.
"I don't know, it's stupid." I groan in frustration. "What will he think if I tell him how I have dreams of me and him snogging and having a bloody child!"
"I actually think that he would like that." Remus shrugs.
"Shut it," I glare at him.
He raises his hands in defense. "I'm just saying."
"I'll do some more research while we're on the break." I tell Remus as I grab my notebook.
"And where will you find the books for that?" He looks at me confused.
"In here?" I gesture around with my hand.
"You're not going home for Christmas?" He scrunches his eyebrows together in confusion .
"No, my aunt got sick so my parents went to Italy. And it would be depressing to be home alone while it's Christmas. So, I'm staying here." I explain.
Remus nods. "You could come over to my house, my parents wouldn't mind." He suggests.
"Thank you Remus, but I don't want to be a bother. Besides, I have stuff to do here." I smile at him.
"You wouldn't be a bother. But if you're sure that you want to stay here-"
"I'm sure, don't worry." I reassure him.
"Okay, whatever you say." He responds.
We exit the library and head back to our common room.
And I'm back! I did some editing and planned the next chapters. Hopefully I have the motivation to write them soon!
Also, thank you all for your support and nice comments, I really appreciate them <33
