Two days passed swiftly, and the day of the Championship Battle had finally come.

Erica was personally escorted by Lawrence and Tristan to the Arena since she was part of the Central Government.

Of course, Thirteen and Sherry were also with her until they arrived at the Colosseum.

"I'll see you later," Thirteen said. "Good luck."

The teenage boy then kissed Erica's cheek, making Lawrence and Tristan exchange smiles with each other.

Sherry had already gone to the audience stands earlier since she was not allowed in the waiting room of the finalists.

The moment Thirteen appeared on the stage, a thunderous cheering greeted him.

He smiled and waved at everyone, greeting them all.

"Thank you for coming to the last day of the tournament!" Thirteen declared. "Today, a Champion will emerge among the thousands of Wanderers who have participated in this tournament!"

Another thunderous roar spread in the Colosseum, coming from the audience hyped with the final match.

While Thirteen was riling the crowd for the final battle, Claude was currently in the waiting room with his son, Clark, giving him some final advice before he was called to the arena.

"We have given you everything you will need in order to defeat Erica," Claude said in a confident tone. "Make me proud, son."

"I'll do my best, Father," Clark replied.

"Good." Claude rested his hands on his son's shoulders. "Go and win this tournament."

Clark nodded before leaving the waiting room.

He had a determined look on his face and believed that he now had a way to win against Erica, the crowd favorite to win the tournament.

The young man treaded the long hallway leading to the arena and stopped before the doorway, waiting for the staff to signal for him to walk out.

Five minutes later, he heard Zion's introduction, which indicated that he was about to appear in front of everyone.

Clark didn't stop with that and summoned a staff in his hand, embedding it on the ground. "Anti Magic Field!" Clark roared. A barrier that covered the entire arena rose up, trapping the icy mist and preventing it from escaping.

Tristan and Lawrence, who saw this happen, both frowned at the same time.

"It seems that the Ashford Clan is going all out," Lawrence said coldly.

The staff that Clark was using belonged to Aaron, and it was one of the weapons he used to deal with enemies who specialized in using spells and similar abilities.

Right now, the visibility of the arena had dropped to zero, preventing the audience from seeing what was happening.

However, Clark could still see perfectly because he was wearing a visor that also belonged to his Grandfather, who had come up with this strategy to defeat Erica.

The young man then took a step forward, instantly disappearing from where he stood and appearing a few meters away from Erica.

He then pulled back his arm and prepared to punch the young lady's stomach, which he believed would be enough to neutralize her.

From start to finish, Erica hadn't moved from her spot, which Clark found a bit surprising.

Although his strategy was flawless from the beginning, he expected the Sorceress to have unleashed her spell before he activated the Anti-Magic Barrier, which completely neutralized her magic power.

"Nothing personal," Clark couldn't help but say those words as he punched the young lady's stomach, putting enough strength into it to make her unable to continue fighting.

But before his blow could land, Erica finally moved and took a step to her right side, evading Clark's blow.

"Thanks for the warning," Erica said before using her elbow to hit the back of Clark's head. "Nothing personal as well."

Clark felt as if he had been hit by a truck as his body slammed into the ground, creating a small crater.

He lay there on the ground in complete disbelief.

Erica's blow was strong, but he wasn't injured so badly that he was unable to fight again.

However, the shock he felt after his blow didn't hit his target paralyzed his mind due to disbelief.

Using that opportunity, Erica kicked the young man and sent him flying to the barrier.

The impact made Clark cry out in pain and finally broke him out of his daze.
