I asked Su Qian, “Since my little uncle and Jing Tian are resting, who’s in charge? Brother Gao Jing and Gao Da?”

Su Qian nodded.

I thought for a moment. “Su Qian, do I have the authority to command them?”

“Yes.” Su Qian’s expression was solemn. “Master Si has already prepared for this. Should anything happen to him, Brother Gao Jing will follow Miss’s directions.”

I nodded, “I wish to see them.”

Both Gao Jing and Gao Da were injured. Gao Jing’s left arm was bandaged, Gao Da’s head was bandaged.

I looked at them in shock and asked Su Qian, “But didn’t you tell me no one was injured. Is this what you mean?”

Su Qian nodded.

I asked Gao Jing, “Is your arm broken?”

Gao Jing nodded. “Yes, but this is minor injury.” I turned to Gao Da. Without me asking, he replied, “I’m fine.”

I was impressed. “How about Tong Lin and Yan Xin? Are they injured?” They looked at each other and then at Su Qian. I said, “I merely hope that they’re alive. I don’t care how serious their injury is. Hell, if they’re not injured, I’ll correct that now.”

Gao Jing then admitted, “They have suffered quite serious injuries. Master Si and Master Qi had gone all out trying to rescue Miss. If Master Si and Master Qi weren’t injured themselves, Tong Lin and Yan Xin probably be dead already.”

I nodded before I turned to Su Qian. “Su Qian, inform Lin Ran that I need those two to heal as soon as possible. When I can use the wheelchair, I need them to be mobile as well, even if they have to be wheeled around. I have an invitation for them. Before they die, I have a show for them to see.” My words confused the three but Su Qian followed my orders.

After Su Qian left, I asked Gao Jing and Gao Da. “That small island belongs to my mother?”

Gao Jing nodded, “Yes, Miss. Now it’s yours.”

“So I can renovate and move it as I please?”

Gao Jing was confused but he still nodded. “Of course.”

“Are there any guards on the island now?”

“Yes, 2 elite squads have been left behind to guard the island. The island is heavily fortified, it’s not easy for outsiders to get in.” Gao Jing explained.

I raised my brow. “Does this mean someone has tried?” The two nodded at the same time. This was a pleasant surprise for me. “Good, this saves me a lot of trouble.” I shared my thoughts with them.

Their eyes widened. “Miss, are you sure? Should we wait until Master Si and Master Qi wake up first?”
