Sitara was standing and talking with some guests and mayara shouts
"Bhai came" mayara yelled cheerily
Everyone's gaze went on him. Wearing white shirt with black blazer and black pant he was twinning with her. perfectly set hairs were adding more hotness. He wore their engagement ring too today
"Where were you ruhaan, we waited but then sitara told that you'll be late so we did cake cutting " Nishtha said
"It's okay maa,I told her to do" ruhaan lied
"Woww bhai,you and bhabhi are twinning not bad haa" Mayra winked
Ruhaan and sitara shared a look and instantly moved their gaze
"Now ruhaan has came, sitara you and ruhaan will dance" akshita ordered
"No bhabhi you know I don't know dancing" ruhaan said
"Yes bhabhi,even I don't know" sitara said
"Comeon bhabhi it's your birthday we didn't even celebrated your six month anniversary neither we gave reception as bhai had an important meeting after your wedding, you guys never danced together " Mayra whined
"Mayra,akshi let it be,if they don't want to dance then don't force" advik said
"No adii,you stay silent. Naa aap dance kar rahe hai na inhe karne de rahe hai" akshita said
"Yes bhai,ruhaan bhai pleasee" Mayra joined her hands infront of him
"Okay okay,stop your drama now" ruhaan said holding her hands
"Yeyyy,I'll play the music" saying this she left
Ruhaan went close to sitara and offered his hand. Sitara looked at him with questioned eyes
"For our family" he whispered
Sitara looked at his hand and gave her hand. And he dragged her to dance stage
They were center of attraction now. Almost everyone was recording them. Mayra starts the song and they started dancing
In between the twirling and Turing their eyes met. When ruhaan put his hand on her bare waist she felt current. Ruhaan inhaled her scent. After some time song ended. Everyone was hooting them. They both left eachother's hand. Suddenly sitara's phone rang and she excused herself
"Hello, aa gayi dost ki yaad" sitara complained as soon as she received the call
"I'm sorry Tara,actually I was little busy today. We had Aarav banna's son's name ceremony yesterday " a voice replied
"Chalo aetlest you didn't forget " sitara scrunched her nose
"I'm sorry naa, happy birthday Tara many many happy returns of the day"
"Thank you so much Aashi " sitara replied
It was Aashi,her best friend. They studied together in London.
"Accha now tell me how's life going.i mean with ruhaan " Aashi asked concerning
"Nothing yarr. I thought he will change after marriage but he was right when he said he'll never consider me as his wife. Now I'm suffocating " sitara said holding her tears. She never had a friend expect Aashi. She didn't even told her secret to anyone but Aashi is exceptional
"I told you sitara to think before your marriage. Leave it what are you thinking now. What will you do" she asked
"I don't know Aashi, but advik bhai suggested that we should get divorce " she said holding her tears
"See sitara,advik bhai is right but i would suggest you both to talk on this matter. Divorce isn't a solution afterall you loves him" Aashi said
"I know Aashi I love him. But he don't love me. And he isn't even ready to have a conversation about this topic" sitara said
"Don't worry sitara,everything will be fine soon. Remember one thing that you have me" She said
"I know Aashi,accha tell me what's going on in your life" she asked changing the topic
"Nothing. Wahi complications " Aashi said
"But you started taking medicines no" sitara asked
"Yes but veer stopped me. He didn't wanted my body to get affected " Aashi replied
"you know what Aashi, you're so lucky that you got husband like him" sitara said dreamily
"Sachii, I don't know what i have done that I got him as my husband " she said smilingly
"Accha listen, akshita bhabhi had same complications but she is pregnant now and having twins" sitara said
"Woww,congratulations to her" Aashi said cheerily
"Thank you,If you want I can give you her doctor's address " sitara suggested
"Yes yes why not,I'll talk to veer I know he will say no but I will manage" she said
"Okay then I'll send you the address " sitara said
"Thank you" aashi replied
"Bye" she said and cut the call
She had a huge smile on her lips after talking to her best friend. She turned and collide with someone muttering sorry she back stepped
"Madam,Eveyone is asking for you" it was rishi
"Ohh,I was coming " she said
"Let's go" he said and sitara smiled
They made their way towards the main hall but sitara's leg got twisted due to her heels.she was about to fall but rishi hold her
"Careful" rishi said
"Sorry" sitara replied
Aftrt adjusting herself they left. But ruhaan saw everything. When rishi hold her his left hand was on her waist and another one was holding her hand.sitara was holding his arms tightly. Ruhaan got annoyed and furious after seeing this scene. He throw glass which he was holding
"Sitara,where were you" Nishtha asked
"Sorry maa,actually I got a call from my friend" she replied
"It's okay,guest are leaving so they were asking for you" Nishtha said smiling
"Ohh" sitara replied and bid every guest. Rishi too left with sitara's father.
"Akshi now let's go you have to take rest" advik said holding her hand
"Yes" she said and tilted her head towards Nishtha " Good night maa,good night Eveyone " she said and they both left
"Sitara,you also go and sleep" Nishtha said and after nodding she left
Everyone retired to their room. Sitara was removing her jewelleries
"Where is he" she thought
After changing she laid on bed. She was so tired that she drifted into sleep quickly.
It was two in the night. Cold air were making sitara shiver and why not afterall it's December. Getting up from bed she went close to window to close it. But she saw a figure laying on lawn of garden. She rub her eyes to clear her vision and she saw it was ruhaan. She immidiatley wore her slippers and ran
Reaching to the garden she saw him unconsciously laying.she sat down and took his head in her lap. While she was holding his head she felt his body getting hot. It means he is having fever. Tears started rolling from her eyes. She everytime try so hard not to cry but when it comes to ruhaan she couldn't control
"Ruhaan,ruhaan please open your eyes" she said tapping his cheeks gently
"Oh my God what should I do" she asked herself
"Ruhaan please open your eyes please" she pleased him but getting no response
"Should I call advik bhai,no I can't disturb bhabhi, what should I do" she said and wiped her tears
"Ruhaan please open your eyes,I'm begging you please" she again said and this time ruhaan did movement
"Ruhaannnn, ruhan open your eyes see I'm here " she said smiling
"Ha.happ..happy birt...thday..sitara" he said with closed eyes
Sitara smiled looking at him but tears were not stopping after seeing his condition
"Ruhaan,please get up, we have to go to the doctor no" she said wiping her tears
"Sitara...ple..please forgive me...I'm....rui....ruining your life" he again said in unconsciousness
"Pleae stop ruhaan and get up" she somehow managed and made him sit on bench "wait for me ruhaan,I'm coming" saying this she went inside to grab car keys
She returned In a minute and made him sit in car
"Don't tell anyone" she ordered their watchman and left
Reaching to the hospital doctor checked him
"Mrs oberoi I think he didn't ate anything from past few days" doctor told
"No doctor, he was having his food" she said although she wasn't sure
"His body became so weak Mrs oberoi " doctor said
"I think he is having so much work pressure " she resonate
"Well he is fine now but you have to take Care of him. Make sure he eats on time and give him medicines too" doctor said
"Sure doctor "
Ruhaan was laying on hospital bed when sitara came
"How's you" sitara took seat beside his bed and asked
"Fine,when we'll leave" he asked
"Aftet this bottle get over" she said pointing bottle
Sitara was about to stand but he stooped her
"Sitara" he called out
"Yes" she asked
"Thank you and sorry " ruhaan said looking into her eyes
"Why" she asked
"Thank you for saving my life and sorry for ruining your life" ruhaan said
"It's okay ruhaan you don't have to,I choose both the things" she said with fake smile and left
Ruhaan and sitara entered to the main hall of oberoi mansion. Everyone was present
"Ruhaan sitara where were you" advik asked. They were looking for them since they woke up
"Actually bhai" sitara didn't know what to say,she looked at ruhaan
"Bhai actually I got unconscious last night and sitara took me to the hospital " ruhaan said
"What,what happened beta are you okay" Nishtha asked cupping Ruhaan's cheeks
"Yes maa I'm totally fine" he replied
"Doctor told that he have to rest for few days,he is still weak" sitara said
"Yes beta go to your room,and no need to go to the office. Advik,sitara and your dad will handle" Nishtha declared
"No maa I can't take leaves" ruhaan argued
"Ruhaan,you go and take rest. And sitara you too take care of him. Me and advik will handle" kabir declared
"Okay dad" sitara said
"Sitara take him to your room" Nishtha said and she nodded. They both left
Ruhaan laid on bed and sitara covered him with blanket. She was about to go but ruhaan stopped her holding her wrist
"Do you need anything " She asked
"You also take some rest" he said
"No I'm fine" sitara replied
"Sitara,I know you were awaken the whole night. Take some rest or else you'll too get sick" he said calmly
"Hmm" saying this she made her way towards sofa
"U....if..if you're comfortable you can sleep on bed" he said hesitating. Sitara looked at him with little shock " I mean you'll be uncomfortable there so you can sleep here" he added
"No I'm fine here" sitara replied
"Sitara, I Know you're uncomfortable but I promise I'll maintain my distance " he said
"It's okay ruhaan I'm fine here" she said
"What if I need something but you'll not wake up. I can't come there no. If you sleep here then I can call you out easily " he said
Sitara was annoyed now with his changing moods. Without saying anything she slept beside him maintaining good distance.
After some time ruhaan woke up and found sitara's hands around his torso. He looked down and saw her sleeping peacefully. His lips curved into smile. Sitara too woke up and ruhaan instantly closed his eyes. She realized their position and she left with a jerk
"Thank God he's sleeping,orelse what will he think" she asked herself
Ruhaan chuckled in his mind after hearing her. Sitara left to bathroom. She came back after few minutes and found him sitting on bed
"You go and get freshen up" she suggested
"Yes" saying this he was about to stand. Sitara helped him but due to his weakness and her wet legs her leg got twisted and he couldn't handle her
Sitara fell down on bed and ruhaan hovered her. This was so sudden that they both couldn't understand what happened but they continued stares. They were hardly maintaining distance. Ruhaan can smell her shampoo. Their lips were almost touched. Ruhaan's gaze went on her lips. He leaned little and sitara closed her eyes. They heard akshita's voice.
"Oh my God I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry,guys you should have locked the room " akshita said and turned
Ruhaan and sitara left eachother with jerk and stood up
"Bha...bhabhi you can turn" sitara manged to say
"I'm sorry guys, I didn't knocked j thought ruhaan must be weak so you guys have took break" she said mischievously
Sitara and ruhaan shared a horror look
"N..no bhabhi it was nothing like that" ruhaan said
"Ha ha I know. Accha leave it and here maa send breakfast for both of you" she said putting plate on table
"Thank you bhabhi" sitara said
"It's okay,I'm going now continue your things" she left after winking
"You start I'll take shower" saying this he left to bathroom
