Sitara reached her hotel,after check-in she took room keys from receptionist and made her way towards her room. Opening the door she smiled looking at the room. It's beautiful and comfy. Sitara locked the door and threw herself on bed. Looking at the ceiling she remembered ruhaan
"What he is up to. I can't understand this man" she mumbled
Sitara heard knock on her door. She stood up and adjusted her hairs. Opening the door she found girl wearing short black dress standing with flowers in her hands
"Hello ma'am, hope you're comfortable here. This are the flowers our sir,I mean Mr knight has send for you. And he invited you in the party " she informed
"Party" she asked being confused
"Yeah Actually it's Mr knight's mother's birthday today,so he arranged a party,and here is your invitation " she said and gave sitara card
"Oh thank you" sitara said and smiled. After closing the door she sat on bed and started admiring card. Her phone rang and it's Mr knight
"Hello" she said
"Hello Mrs ruhaan,I hope you like the room" Mr knight said
"Umm yes,it's comfortable "
"I would like to invite you in today's party as it's my mother's birthday. I hope you'll come"
"I can not give you assurance Mr knight as I'm not a party person so"
"It's okay sitara,there will be only few people. You'll be comfortable "
"Okay I will come"
Sitara said yes but somewhere she wasn't sure that she should go or not but she didn't wanted to sound rude so she said yes
After taking 3 hours of good sleep she woke up and checked her phone. She had messaged from Mr knight saying he will send car for her. She sighed and went to change her clothes. She came back wearing black one piece and stood infront of mirror to dry her hairs. After getting ready she was about to seat but heard a knock on her door. Opening a door she found man standing back facing her
"Yes" she asked in her low voice
Man turned and sitara's eyes got wide bit,it was ruhaan. Wearing white shirt and black pant. Rolled sleeves and blazer in hand. Ruhaan's gaze stucked on the beauty standing infront of him
"What are you doing here ruhaan" she asked but he was busy admiring his wife Ohh soon-to-be ex wife
"Ruhaan" she said little louder and Waved her hands infront of him and he came out of his world
"I came to pick you up " he said casually
"Why" sitara asked being curious
"You're going to attend Mr knight's party right,he invited me too so I thought to go together " he proposed her
"Sorry but he said he will send car" she replied
"Do you really think that I will let you go with random driver that too in different country " he asked raising his eyebrow
"I don't care what do you think or not,now go" she said and about to close the door but ruhaan stopped her holding doorknob
"Sitara,I am saying this for the last time" he said pressing pressure each and every word
"And I am denying this for the last time" she said with same tone
Ruhaan gently pushed her little and entered inside and locked the door and stood infront of her blocking her way
"What is this behavior ruhaan,what do you want" she asked in frustration
"You" he instantly replied. Sitara's eyes got widen after hearing him. He realized what he said "umm I mean I want you to come with me" he covered up
"And why" she asked folding her hands around her arms
"See sitara,we are not normal couple. Everyone knows us,what will they think if you and me will go separately,people around us will make fuss" he resonate
"You know what,I don't care now. And anyways advik bhai is going to tell Eveyone everything about us. So I don't have to worry about our family too" she said with pain in her heart
Ruhaan's heart too broke with this but he managed to maintain his neutral expression
"Do whatever you want to do sitara,but I will not let you go alone and that's final" he said with stoic face
"You're impossible ruhaan" she said with disbelief tone
"Now call him and tell him not to send any driver" he ordered
"I will not" she argued
"Okay,fine. We are not going anywhere now" he said and sat on door
"Are you serious ruhaan" she asked in disbelief
"Yes" he said and smirked
"Okay fine. I'm calling him" she finally accepted his proposal
"Do it now" he said and she rolled her eyes. Calling Mr knight she informed him not to send any driver as she is going with ruhaan
"Happy now,let's go" she said showing him her palm
"Why are you desperate for the party" he asked standing
"None of your business " she said and pushed him aside
Ruhaan stood their in disbelief
The whole car journey was silent as sitara was angry at him. He first denied for the project and when she accepted advik's proposal,he came out of nowhere
"Reached" ruhaan informed Sitara who was busy admiring beauty of Paris
Sitara without looking at him came out and made thud. Ruhaan shut his eyes became she hurt his first love,his car
"She will break every door of my every car one day" he mumbled and tilted his head only to find empty place as she left without him "this girl" he shook his head and parked his car
"Hello,good evening Mr knight " sitara handshake with him And smiled
"Thank you for coming sitara" he said with smile
"Never mind,where is aunty" she asked looking at everywhere
"Umm wait a minute " he said and started moving his eyes to find his mother in between the guests
"Hello Mr knight " ruhaan came and stood beside sitara,she rolled her eyes
"Ohh Hello Mr oberoi " he said and smiled
"Where is aunty" ruhaan asked
"You guys please seat here I will be back with her" Mr knight said and left
"Why you came without me" ruhaan whispered
"It doesn't matter ruhaan" she replied smilingly looking at the guests
Ruhaan pulled her closer by her waist, she gulped looking at him but he was moving his eyes on guests
"Ruhaan leave me" she said trying to get out of his grip but he tighten his hold
"Your every matter matters me" he said in husky voice near her ear. She started shivering with the proximity
"And Don't you dare to leave this party without me" he warned still looking at the guests
"Why do you think that I will listen to you" she snapped back
"You have to baby" he said looking at her and smirked, sitara's eyes got widen hearing him
"I won't " she said
"Try me then" he said and winked
"Uhmmm you can continue your romance in your room but first meet my mother" Mr knight came with his mother. Ruhaan left her waist abruptly
"Hello aunty,happy birthday " sitara wished and hugged her
"Thank you so much my child. Ethan(Mr knight)was right when he said that you're extremely gorgeous " she praised sitara's beauty and she blushed. Ruhaan fisted his palm looking at Mr knight
"Aunty happy birthday " ruhaan came forward and wished her
"Thank you my boy" she thanked
Ruhaan gave gift to her,she first denied but he forced so she accepted
"My gift is due aunty" sitara said with pout
"No need my child,your husband gave me. I'll consider it as yours too" aunty replied
"No aunty, you invited both of us,so you deserves gift from me too" sitara argued
"Okay okay" aunty said and laughed
"Guys now go and dance " Mr knight told them
"Umm no I don't..." sitara was saying but ruhaan cut her
"Sure sure " he said and dragged her to the dance floor
"Ruhaan I don't want to dance" she argued
"But your Mr knight told no,let's do then" ruhaan taunted and she looked at him in confusion
Soon music started and they started dancing. In between twirling and moving with the beats,ruhaan and sitara's eyes met. Ruhaan's hand on her waist gave shiver to her body. His intense gaze was making her breath hard. She hold his hand tightly and dragged him in corner. After reaching,she abruptly left him
"Why are you doing this ruhaan. Jitna aapse dur bhaag rahi hu utna aap pass Kyu aa rahe Hain. Bohot mushkil se aage badh rahi hu please mere liye aur mushkil mat kijiye" she said and tears started roiling down from her eyes
Ruhaan felt pang in his heart after seeing her in this state. He tried to hold her arms but she back stepped
"Please ruhaan, please stay away from me" she said and left leaving ruhaan in his thoughts
Sitara was running but bumped with a man
"I'm sorry " she said wiping her tears
"Are you okay" he asked in assurance
"Yeah" she said without looking at him
"Do you want any help" he asked
"No thanks" she replied
"You're Indian right, me too. See if you need any help you can ask me please don't hesitate " he said gently
Sitara saw him and thought him as a gentleman
"Will you drop me at my hotel" she asked
"Sure" he said with smile "what's your hotel name" he asked
"Umm here is location " she said and gave him her phone
"Sure let's go,here is my car" he said and opened side door for her. She sat and they both left
