Bright sunrays fall on Ruhaan's face and he removed his blanket from his body. Sleeping on sofa last night leads him to very bad backpain. In absence of sitara he tried to sleep on bed but sleep seemed far away so he decided to sleep on sofa. Stretching his arms he took out his clothes from cupboard and left for shower
On the other side sitara came straight to her house from office last evening. After her and Ruhaan's heated argument she was irascible. She wanted to hug her dad. Just like every girl her father is her angel, just a hug and every problems flies. She spent her evening talking with him and went to night walk too.
Ruhaan came to dining table after freshen up. He saw Advik feeding Akshita with his hands and akshita making faces. He chuckles but something flashes in his mind and his smile flew. He sat with stoic face. Advik and akshita noticed him. Kabir and Nishtha are out of town for some family functions.
"See babies, your chachu isn't trying to pacify your mumma, and you know what mumma was about pacify but chachu stopped talking. Now tell me what should mumma do" Akshita said caressing her stomach
Advik and Ruhaan shared look. Advik chuckled and Ruhaan took a seat beside Akshita
"I'm sorry babies, chachu is so guilty. You know he wanted to attend the ceremony but stucked somewhere. Chachu tried to talk to mumma but she wasn't listening " Ruhaan said making sad face and looking down
"Yes babies" Akshita askd and bend little trying to ack hearing her babies "Ohh okay okay I will tell him" Akshita said and smiled
"So what did they said" Advik said taking parts in her antics
"They are saying tell chachu that they aren't angry with him. And they convinced me too" Akshita said and pout
"Thank you so much bhabhi" Ruhaan said and hugged her
"It's okay but my babies made a condition " Akshita said hugging him back
Ruhaan took back step
"And what is the condition " Ruhaan asked
"They want to eat pizza" Askhita said grinning
"No" Ruhaan and advik said in unison
"Why" Akshita asked making pout
"Bhabhi doctor said no that you have to avoid junk food" Ruhaan fake glares
"Yes, and you know na akshi it isn't good for you health " advik said holding her hands
"Okay leave it, I hate you both. Let sitara come she will make for me, and I will not give you both any bite." Saying this she left
"Bhabhi " ruhaan called but advik stopped him
"It's okay she will be normal in some time" Advik said
"It seems regular to you" Ruhaan said
"Yes, her moodswings are just...." he shook his head and continue " you know what She gets angry and upset with me without any reason, I mean last night I just switched off the lights before sleeping, she literally ordered me to sleep on sofa" Advik complained
"You deserve this bhai" Ruhaan said and laughed
It is for the first time in past some years that ruhaan is laughing whole heartedly,Advik and Ruhaan having normal conversations after Advik got to know about Ruhaan and Sitara's reaction.
"Let your time come beta, then I will also laugh like this and I will tell sitara to trouble you mo....." he was saying but stopped after realization
Ruhaan stopped laughing and his face came back to stoic.
"I have some important work I'm leaving " saying this
Ruhaan left without meeting advik's eyes
Advik reached to his cabin and called peon and told him to send some files to ruhaan
"But sir,ruhaan sir hasn't come yet " peon informed
"What" he asked "Okay you go"
Peon left
"I have to do something serious now" advik said nobody
Aftet half hour hour Ruhaan entered to his cabin holding his blazer in his left hand. His hairs which were perfectly set in the morning is now messy. His shirt is half unbuttoned. sleeves are rolled now. The watch he was wearing isn't visible now. His face looks tired.
Advik saw him going to his cabin through advik's cabin. He tighten his hold on papers which he was holding. Putting papers on table he stepped in ruhaan's cabin
"Where were you" Advik asked as soon as he reached
"Nowhere,I had to meet some friends " Ruhaan said pouring water in glass
"Do you think I'm dumb, I very well know ruhaan" Advik said getting angry
"Then you shouldn't be asking" Ruhaan said casually
"Ruhaan,you're wasting your life in nothing. Why are you not starting your life with sitara" Advik said still being angry
"I told you thousand times bhai that I.will.never.ever.accept her as my wife. Aur rahi baat life wasting ki, then let me tell you that I promised my..." he stopped for some seconds and continued "i promised her that I will always go to her whenever I miss her" Ruhaan said putting glass of water on table
"And what about sitara,do yoh know what She must be feeling" advik asked
"She doesn't know anything " Ruhaan stated avoiding Advik's eyes
"You're unbelievable Ruhaan,Mark my words you will beg to her and for her" Advik said clenching his teeth
"I will never " Ruhaan said confidentiality
"Let's see then" advik said and left after making thud
Ruhaan stood there holding his phone tightly
Sitara and her father are watching sitara's wedding video. In which she was crying holding his father. It was her vidai clip. After seeing the clip they both got emotional. sitara was strong to hold her tears but her father isn't. Tears started rolling from her father's eyes.
"Arehh why are you crying now, you only wanted me to get married no" She said wiping her father's tears
"This are happy tears my child" her father said holding her hand
"How" She frowned her eyebrows
"Because my situ is happy there no" his father said
"Daddddddd, how many times I've told you not to call me that" She whined
"Okay okay sorry" his father Chuckled "but now seriously tell me, how's Ruhaan treating you" her father asked
"Dad, i told you yesterday only" She said
"But I want to be sure"
"OK fine. He is treating me well" She lied
"Are you sure" he asked "he came too late at akshita's babyshower ceremony "
"I told you na dad he got stucked" She said taking Ruhaan's side
"Okay i believe you" her father said
"Now go and make Maggie for meeeee" she said pushing his dad to kitchen
"I'm sorry dad for lying " She said in mind
In the office,Ruhaan was engrossed in work When a peon came and knocked the door. He allowed him to enter.
"Sir this are the files advik sir sent" he said giving him files
"Okay sent sitara ma'am in my cabin and tell her that I have to talk about our new project " he said looking at papers
"But sir she is on leaves" peon informed
"What" he said with shock and in return peon stayed silent
"Oh ya I forgot you may go " Ruhaan instantly changes his expression and peon left
"Is she still mad at me" ruhaan asked himself and rub his temple
The whole day sitara spent talking to her father on different things. She went to shopping with him. They saw some movies too.
Ruhaan came back to oberoi mansion. He skipped his dinner saying he is full because he ate outside but in reality he wanted ti stay away from his family for some time.
Sitara was typing something on her laptop when her phone rang. A smile appeared on her face when she saw caller ID she instantly received
"Hey My tulip,how are you" She said grinning
"I'm fine you say, it seems like you're too busy in your married life that you don't have time for your bestest friend" a manly voice came from other side
"It's not like that rishi, actually I'm handling both office and house together " She said
"Ohoo hamari sitara itni badi ho gayi"(Oho our sitara has grown up) rishi said
"Bas ha, now tell me where are you I want to meet you" She said smiling
"Guess what I'm in india" rishi informed
"What,are you serious " sitara said standing
"Yes meri jaan,and I'm coming to meet you tomorrow " rishi informed
"Wowwww,I'm so excited please come asap" She said excitedly
"Yes yes inform uncle too"Â rishi said
"Okay okay uncle ke chamche" She said scrunching her nose
"Bye chamchi" he said and they cut the call
Sitara's lips aren't ready to leave smile. And why not afterall her bestest friend from childhood is coming to meet her. They haven't met since he left to London for his bachelor studies.
