As Rose and Amelia walked through the hallway towards their class, Amelia's curiosity got the better of her, and she hesitantly opened the subject. "Um, Rose, I hope you don't mind me asking, but... are you and Aiden, like, together or something?"

Rose glanced at Amelia with a surprised expression before breaking into a soft chuckle. "Oh, no, not at all. Aiden is actually my older brother."

Amelia's eyes widened in shock. "Wait, what? Aiden is your brother?"

Rose nodded, a smile playing at the corners of her lips. "Yep, that's right. He's a year older than me, but he took extra courses . So, he ended up in the same class as mine."

Amelia couldn't hide her surprise. "Wow, I had no idea. That's... unexpected."

Rose chuckled again, seeing Amelia's bewildered expression. "I know, it's a bit unusual. But trust me, having Aiden in the same class has its perks and drawbacks."

Amelia raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Oh? Like what?"

"Well, let's just say it adds an extra layer of... excitement to our daily routine," Rose replied, a mischievous glint in her eyes "and the fact that he has this great reputation in this University with his dark aura is crazy."

Amelia couldn't help but laugh at Rose's mysterious response. "I can only imagine. Well, thanks for clearing that up. And its crazy that you were the one who warned me to stay away from him, I mean he's your brother."

Rose grinned, her eyes twinkling with amusement. "You have no idea what kind of a person he is."

Rose's reply perked curiousity. Amelia said giggling. "You and Aiden are so opposite to be siblings, it's like you are the daylight and he's thunder."

Rose laughed at Amelia's comment.

They entered the class and it went busy with all the notes they had to take. Amelia couldn't help but notice Aiden's absence. She was glad that he was not here while she was noticing how some people were looking at her with a weird expression that she failed to identify.

.............................

The class was over. As Amelia emerged from the washroom, she was greeted by an unexpected sight – a group of students gathered around her, whispering amongst themselves and casting glances in her direction. Amelia was confused as she approached the crowd, trying to make sense of the situation.

"Hey, what's going on?" she asked tentatively, her brow furrowing.

One of the students, a girl with a mischievous grin, stepped forward and addressed Amelia. "Oh, nothing much," she replied with a grin. "We just heard about your little run-in with Aiden earlier. Quite the spectacle, wasn't it?"

Amelia's eyes widened in surprise, realizing that news of her confrontation with Aiden had spread like wildfire through the campus. She felt a flush of embarrassment creep up her cheeks as she became the unwitting center of attention.

"I... I don't know what you're talking about," Amelia stammered, trying to downplay the situation.

But the other students weren't about to let her off the hook that easily.

Amelia's heart pounded in her chest as the girl with blonde hair stepped forward, a wicked gleam in her eye. Before Amelia could react, the girl snatched her bag and flung it aside with a careless toss.

"What are you doing?" Amelia protested, her voice tinged with disbelief and growing unease.

But the blonde-haired girl paid her no heed, a cruel smirk playing on her lips. "Time for some fun," she declared.

With a sudden push, the girl sent Amelia to the ground, her body crashing against the hard surface. Pain shot through Amelia's limbs as she struggled to regain herself, the shock of the unexpected assault leaving her momentarily stunned.

Around her, the other students erupted into laughter and jeers, their mocking taunts echoing in Amelia's ears. She felt a surge of anger and humiliation rise within her.

"How dare a low life like you touch someone as mighty as Aiden," The blonde girl said furiously as she stepped closer to Amelia who was still on the floor trying to process everything.

Amelia's determination surged as she gathered every ounce of strength to pull herself up from the ground, her resolve steeling against the blonde girl's impending approach. As the girl drew near, her hand to slap, Amelia's instincts kicked in.

With a swift motion, Amelia held the girl's hand, her grip firm. In a move, she turned the tables, delivering a stinging slap of her own across the girl's cheek. The sound of it's impact echoed through the air, a challenge to the oppressive atmosphere that had engulfed them.

Her voice steady with newfound confidence, Amelia met the girl's stunned gaze head-on. "Let me show you who the real lowlife is," she declared, her words ringing out with conviction.

In that electrifying moment, Amelia gathered her power, refusing to be impacted by the bullies who tried to diminish her. The crowd went silent at Amelia's bold and unexpected reaction.

The blonde girl was fuming in anger when Amelia's hands moved with lightning speed as she snatched her bag from the floor, her fingers curling tightly around the strap. With a swift, determined motion, she hurled the bag far across, watching satisfaction as it soared through the air before landing with a thud in the corner.

The girl's eyes widened in disbelief at Amelia's bold defiance, her expression twisting into a mask of rage as she took a menacing step forward.

"You think you can push me around?" Amelia's voice was low and steady, a hint of steel lacing her words. "Think again."

The blonde girl stepped forward holding her wrist. Amelia winced as the blonde girl's nails dug into her skin, a sharp pang of pain shooting through her arm. But before the situation could go further, a voice cut through the tension, bringing a momentary pause to the chaos.

"What's going on here?" Rose's voice rang out, firm and commanding, as she approached the scene with purposeful strides. Her eyes narrowed as she took in the scene, her gaze settling on the blonde girl with a steely intensity.

"Madison, what do you think you're doing?" Rose's tone left room for no argument, her words filled with authority as she addressed the blonde girl by name. Madison's grip on Amelia's sleeve loosened slightly, her expression shifting from anger to irritation as she shot a glance at Rose.

"I was just teaching her a lesson," Madison spat out, her voice dripping with venom as she glared at Amelia. "She needs to learn her place. I am doing Aiden a favor, she must learn to respect him"

Rose's eyes flashed with disapproval, her lips pressed into a thin line as she stepped closer to Madison, her presence made Amelia strong. She was about to say something when a voice interepted.

It was deep, resonant, possessing a magnetic quality that demanded obedience. Every word filled with authority, sending shivers down the spines of those who heard it.

"I didn't ask for a favor," the voice intoned, its tone cold and unforgiving, echoing through the corridor with chilling precision. Heads turned instinctively towards the source of the voice, anticipation thick in the air as all eyes fell upon Aiden, standing with an air of quiet confidence among the crowd.

His presence was imposing, his features carved with sharp angles and masculinity that had power. Dark, eyes glinted with an intensity that seemed to pierce through the very soul of anyone who dared to meet his gaze. With each step he took, the aura of authority surrounding him seemed to swell, casting an aura of dominance over those in his trance.

Amelia's heart skipped a beat as she felt the weight of his gaze upon her, a chill running down her spine at the sight of him. Despite herself, she couldn't tear her eyes away from him, captivated by the sheer force of his presence. It was as if the entire world had fallen silent in his wake, hanging on his every word with breath.

The blonde girl, visibly taken aback by Aiden's sudden appearance, hurriedly makes her way towards him, coating sweetness to mask her true intentions. Her voice dripping with honeyed tones as she attempts to explain herself.

"Hey, Aiden," she says, her voice sweet as she addresses him directly. "I was just trying to teach this little troublemaker a lesson, you know how it is." She gestures towards Amelia, who stands nearby, her expression changes as she watches the exchange unfold.

Despite the blonde girl's attempts to charm him, Aiden remains silent, his demeanor cool and detached as he regards her with a steely gaze. His silence speaks volumes, his icy demeanor serving as a stark contrast to the blonde girl's bubbly demeanor.

Unfazed by his lack of response, the blonde girl continues, her words becoming increasingly desperate as she tries to capture his attention. But Aiden remains unmoved, his gaze fixed firmly ahead as if lost in thought, his expression unreadable.

Amelia's POV

"That's my problem to deal with and I don't want anyone else to linger over what's mine." He said while looking directly into my eyes.

My heart quickens as Aiden's words wash over me, sending a shiver down my spine. I watch in silent disbelief as he addresses the blonde girl, his voice carrying a weight of authority that sends a chill down my spine.

"She's my subject." Aiden states firmly, his gaze piercing as he locks eyes with me, his words sending a jolt of unease coursing through my veins.

I feel a surge of revulsion at the possessive way Aiden refers to me, casting me as little more than an object to be owned. The thought of being subject to him fills me with a sense of submission, my stomach churning with a mixture of anger and disgust.

Leaving the blonde girl in her trance, Aiden strides towards me with purpose, his presence looming over me like a dark shadow. I feel a knot form in my stomach as he draws nearer, his words sending a chill down my spine.

"I knew you were interesting to play with," Aiden murmurs, his voice low and husky, "but now that I see you're purely a wild kitten, it makes me even more thrilled to pull your strings. Congratulations, kitten, you've got my attention."

His words hang in the air between us, heavy with unspoken implications. I feel a sense of apprehension wash over me as I realize the full extent of Aiden's interest. The thought of being nothing more than a pawn in his game fills me with a mixture of fear and indignation, my stomach churning with unease.

As Aiden's gaze bores into mine. I refuse to let him see the fear that courses through my veins, determined to stand my ground in the face of his dominance. I meet his gaze head-on, silently vowing to never let him break me, no matter what games he chooses to play.

He then moves back, but his attention shifts to the blonde girl. "You don't have to worry," he says, his tone dripping with arrogance. "See, she'll soon not only respect me but also get on her knees for me."

His words ignite a spark of anger within me, and I find myself moving towards him, driven by a sudden surge of defiance. I grab him by his collar, locking eyes with him as I speak with unwavering determination.

"I'm not your subject," I declare firmly, my voice trembling with suppressed fury. "And I would never lower my head for someone like you."

As I stare into his eyes, I can see a flicker of surprise and perhaps even a hint of admiration in his gaze or maybe I'm imagining things, he can't admire, not me atleast. But I refuse to back down, my grip on his collar tightening as I stand my ground against the oppressive force of his dominance.

He pulls me by the waist, forcefully prying my hands from his collar until both of my wrists are trapped in his firm grip. With a slow motion, he runs his thumb slowly over the nail marks left by the blonde girl, his touch sending shivers down my spine. Leaning in close, he whispers something in my ear, his breath hot against my skin.

But before I can react, the discipline in charge makes an appearance, interrupting our tense exchange. We're ordered to go to class, and Aiden reluctantly releases me, causing me to stumble backward a few steps. His eyes deep into mine as he delivers his final words, promising to give me an answer soon.
