Morgan felt a chill run down his spine, instantly turning around to bow and apologize.
âMr. Blanchet, Iâm sorry! Iâm sorry! I didnât mean to open the car door to lookâ¦.â
Theoâs black eyes were icy, âWhat did you see?â
Morgan was stunned for a moment, shaking his head vigorously, â⦠I didnât see anything! I didnât see anythingâ¦.â
Collin stepped forward, bowing his head and apologizing, âMr. Blanchet, I was answering a call and didnât notice someone approaching the car. Itâs my fault!â
Theo glanced at Collin and said nothing.
He lit a cigarette, turned his face to look at Morgan, âSince youâve come all the way to my car, what do you want?â
Morgan hastily said, âMr. Blanchet, itâs Morgan, from Nexus Industries. We just met at the company!
Uhâ¦I need to explain. The botched proposal you saw today was tampered with by an intern for personal gain. Itâs not representative of our real standard. I hope you could give us another chance to show our capabilities.â
