“Sophia and I got the marriage certificate only to convince my father to accept surgery. This was a mutual agreement between your daughter and me. Then Collin stepped forward and handed the agreement to Thaddeus.

Thaddeus glanced at the agreement. His face was stern, and he did not take it.

Theo continued, “If you have any displeasure with this agreement, feel free to voice your conditions. As long as it’s reasonable, I’ll do my best to meet them, and I’m willing to compensate Sophia as much as possible.”

Collin offered the agreement to Thaddeus again. “Mr. Thaddeus, please take a look at this agreement.”

I am telling you now. You must take responsibility for my daughter!”

Theo corrected him calmly. “I’ve never deceived Sophia. She fully knows the reason and purpose for the certificate, and she volunteered to help. I appreciate Sophia’s assistance then and am willing to compensate her as much as possible, but regretfully, I can’t take responsibility for her. Uhave a family and a child on the way. My wife and child are who I truly need to be responsible for.”

So, my purpose in approaching Sophia this time is to dissolve the marriage, not a divorce.
