The Dream
Nathaniel sat beside me, peacefully asleep. I sighed and looked out the window. I hadn't been on many plane trips but every time I did, I made sure I got the window seat. I enjoyed the view. Being above the clouds, seeing the world in a different way. It gave me a kind of blissful feeling.
I reclined the seat and shut my eyes, letting out a content sigh as I found a good position.
Suddenly I saw an odd looking man that I had never seen before standing before me. He was looking right at me, laughing. He had his canines elongated, dark black hair, pale skin and dark eyes that resembled a black hole. We were in a field, it was covered in thick layers of snow though.
I looked to the floor and saw what he was laughing at. Beside him lay a black and cream coloured wolf. It was large and clearly dead. There was blood flooding out of its side, it had been clawed to death. I had seen this wolf before and it took me a while to realise that it was Alexander.
I gasped and ran towards him, "Get away from him!" I slid on the ice and shook the lifeless wolf.
"Alex, Alex please. Wake up. Wake up, please Alexander." I wailed, my tears mixing in with the blood staining the snow.
My heart clenched in pain and I cried out. I was struggling to grasp the sight before me, struggling to understand what could have possibly happened and why? For goodness sake, how? Alexander is powerful, he is threatening and domineering. He could take in anyone singlehandedly, it's why he was feared.
How could this man have taken him down?
"What did you do to him!?" I demanded.
The man was now walking away, laughing louder than before. He turned and my rage increased. Something took over and I fisted my hand and I heard bones breaking. The man was screaming, his bones obviously being the ones crushed.
Rising to my feet I kept my fist clenched, I made my way slowly toward him raising my hand as he levitated above me. I raised it until he was many feet above and I screamed as I brought my hand down with much intensity.
His body came crashing down, landing in an awkward position. His bones jutting out and blood leaking out of him. I wasn't done though, I raised his body one more time for good leisure then brought it down again.
As if it would bring Alexander back, as if it would stop my breaking heart. I turned to run toward Alexander's dead wolf when my eyes snapped open.
"Elijah!" I sat up and the first thing I saw was Alexander's brown orbs the green dotted about.
"I need you to calm down." He stroked my cheek with his finger, his other hand holding my head in place so I'm staring right at him.
I closed my eyes and the shaking stopped.
Wait.
Shaking? I snapped my eyes open, "Why was the plane shaking?"
I looked around and everyone was seated with their seatbelts strapped on and the air masks had popped down swinging about. Everything had fallen from the compartments. I looked back at Alexander completely confused.
"You."
"Me?"
It dawned on me that I had been asleep, the magic has been transferred. The dream I had must have really worked me up. I couldn't believe the anger I was capable of.
"The dark magic, it was feeding off of your emotions. What in the heavens were you dreaming of?" He questions.
He had taken the seat previously occupied by Nathaniel.
"I'm so sorry." I blurted.
He smiled, "It's okay. Just tell me the dream." He insisted.
"There was no one there but you, me and some man I've never even seen before. I don't know why but he had killed you, I hadn't seen your face but I know it was you. You were in wolf form and I just... I got so angry because he was laughing, he had killed you and thought it was so damn funny. So I crushed him."
Nathaniel looked at Alexander, worry filing his eyes.
"You killed him?"
I feel like I clearly said I had, why is he asking me, "Yes, Alexander."
He looked over at Nathaniel again, "Did you see my face?"
Was he actually listening to me, "What?"
"You said I was dead, did you see my face. To make sure."
I click my tongue, "No, you were in wolf form, Alexander. I said so." I rolled my eyes.
"Shit." Nathaniel muttered.
"What?" I query.
They were just going back and forth with the eyes now and I couldn't handle it. One of them needs to just spit it out, let me know what in the worlds happened.
"We need to complete this mission quickly." Nate spoke to Alexander as if I weren't here.
Alexander ran a hand through his hair, "I know. I know... Mariska, that bitch. I'm going to kill her next time I see her." He growled.
I began shaking my head, "You will do no such thing, that would kill me too. Why would you want to kill her anyway?"
"I had a similar dream about Nathan my first day. Just that, the person who killed Nathan was Romania."
"So â" I was interrupted by Nathaniel.
"In time he turned into the ruthless killer Packs like yours fear." Nate mumbled.
I stopped breathing. I know I did. Be it for one minute or one second, I know I did. I'm officially going down as The Worst Luna That Ever Lived.
"I'm... I..." I took in a deep breath and closed my eyes.
I won't turn into Alexander. I have freaking control. I won't. I won't.
"Hey, listen to me," Nathaniel gently touched my chin to make me look up at them, "You won't turn into a killer. It's just not in you."
I nodded. It's all I could manage.

I sat back as I watched them devise a plan. They were still going on with Mariska's plan, just minus all the extra bodies, they were going to attack Ivan and I'd stay hidden away somewhere as I worked the witchy magic. I'd practice right now but something tells me magic and aeroplanes don't go well together.
I stared at Kyrie, Alexander's Beta, he was a sight. He was much darker than I, more dark chocolate like. He had a beautifully trimmed beard, that leveled his jawline. I couldn't help but think his hair was typical of a fuckboy. I almost let out a laugh, remembering Mia had called him that.
I didn't quite blame Mia's sister for giving into Kyrie. He was beautiful. More so than Timothy, Nathaniel's Beta. Timothy had fair tanned skin, bright blue eyes and sandy brown hair. His hair looked like a lot of fun to run your hands through.
'I doubt Alexander would love these thoughts.' Nathaniel chimed.
I looked at him and he wasn't paying attention to the conversation going on around him anymore. Instead he was blatantly staring at me, smirking.
I narrowed my eyes at him, 'I could have bet R100 I blocked out my thoughts.'
He winks, 'Good thing you didn't. Or else you'd owe me 100 bucks.'
Letting out a grunt I link, 'Get out my head, Nathan.'
'Stop replying.' He replies.
Alexander lets out a frustrated grunt, "Nathaniel, while I greatly appreciate you being here. I don't appreciate you not paying attention and messing up all the plans."
Nate moved back, he hadn't realised his arm was all over the table. Messing up all the papers that were obviously holding all the 'plans.'
The plans I was not involved in because 'you won't be there,' as said by Alpha Alex himself. As if he'd even be here if it weren't for me.
Although I felt a lot better about him being here, his presence was bringing me a sense of peace I didn't have the first time I was on my way to Russia.
It wasn't a bad decision, not bringing him would have been an awful decision. I'm glad he asked me to come, best decision I've made.
"You," Alpha Alex himself pointed at me, "Stop distracting my lieutenant."
Kyrie glared at Alexander, "If he's your lieutenant then what the heck am I doing here?" He scoffed and made his way towards me, "I'll be joining Elijah." He sat beside me.
"Kyrie, bring your ass back here. This is my mates life you're messing with and I don't think you wanna see the repercussions of that."
Kyrie whispered in my ear, "Thanks for not going at this alone. Not having you for a year and a half then having you not include him in your escapades really messed with him. He might not show it, but he loves you."
He went back to the plans and left me sitting there, staring after him probably resembling a statue.
