Monami slowly opened her eyes. Her head was spinning around and she could hear distinct noises. Now she was able to see the other person who was tied. She kept blinking continuously. The room was now full of bright light. But she wasn't tied anymore. After a while she realised where exactly she was. A big glass tank. And the person tied was none other than Kamini aunty.
When Monami went to Kamini aunty's house in the morning, she was tensed as to how she will tell the news. She rang the doorbell and waited for her to answer. After all these years, if someone has suffered the most, its Kamini aunty. She atleast deserves to know the truth. Why her innocent daughter was killed? And who killed her? When someone dies without any reason, the need to create one magnifies. Mystery fascinates people. At that time, Riya's death was a mystery to the whole college. That's why nobody realised the need to find out the truth. Because the truth was already covered. But because it was a mystery to her mother as well, there were so many questions that she needed answers to. And today is the day. She will finally know the murderer of her daughter.

FLASHBACK OF MONAMI"S KIDNAPPING
" tum yaha kya kar rahe ho" monami was shocked to see Aneesh opening the door.
" how dare you!!" she snapped at him. His smile was not fading from his face.
" Aunty kaha hai???" monami interrogated.
But Aneesh very calmly said," welcome Monami, hum kabse tumhara wait kar rahe the" and opened the doors for Monami to come in.
Monami reliased that all of this was a plan. She entered inside to see Kamini aunty tied to a pillar. Her head was bleeding a little. Her mouth was covered with cloth and her hands and lega were tied to the pillar. Her eyes had fear. Monami rushed to help her, but Aneesh quickly closed the door and ran after her and held her tightly in his clutches from behind.
"ahhh, chodo mujhe. Aneesh chodo mujhe. I SAID LEAVE ME!!!" monami was struggling to get out of his grip.
" come on Monami, don't be a spoilsport" Aneesh mocked Monami's efforts of getting out of his grip.
" tumhe ye nahi karna chahiye tha, sabko pata chal chuka hai ki Riya ki maut kyu hui, ab tum bach nahi sakte......" before Monami could complete threatening Aneesh, he interrupted
" relax, abhi to mera game shuru hua hai aur tum abhi THE END ki baat kar rahi ho".
Monami could not understand exactly what he was trying to do. If he was thinking to kill both of them then it was a very wrong idea because he will be caught very easily. The investigation for Riya's case has begun and the police is already searching for him. What does he want?
"matlab kya hai tumhara?" Monami asked a bit tensed.
" Don't worry Monami, jo tum soch rahi ho waisa kuch nahi hoga. Tumhe maarne ke liye mai ready nahi hoo. LEkin hum ek adventurous ride pe jaane wale hai" he smirked and pulled Monami with him to the other room.
PRESENT TIME.
Karan called Sid to let him know of the present condition. Sid got anxious on knowing that his Monu bro is also in danger. He asked Karan to keep him updated constantly. Karan was still in the house. He was checking if there were trails of blood anywhere else. Any hint that could help him. Sid managed to stay calm and handle the case and investigation. But he requested the police officer in charge to create a search team requesting that Monami could become the next victim. He also contacted Deolali police and informed them about the case. Now Deolali police and Mumbai police were working together to find Monami and Aneesh.
Karan went to the other rooms again and saw a syringe lying around. It was empty which means it has already been injected. Karan suspects that it is most likely anesthesia because it smells a bit like permanent marker. But he is not sure. He proceeds to find something else. He enters riya's room. Looking at all the photographs on the wall. Monami, Riya and Sid. Different places, different poses but the same people. And the same love and happiness. He couldn't imagine if something like this happened to Monami. He had watery eyes, he looked away. He saw a camera that was placed at a higher shelf, but it was still recording. He picked it up and stopped the recording. He played the recorded video and saw Aneesh fixing the camera(in the video).
IN THE VIDEO:
I was very sure ki tum yaha tak aa hi jaoge. Hi Karan, welcome to this maze. Ab, aage jo tum dekhne wale ho use dekhke tumhe kaisa lagega, I don't know. But, mujhe bhot maza aane wala hai. You know about Riya, right? Of course, Monami ne tumhe bataya hi hoga. Par problem ye hai ki usne tumhe mere baare me nahi bataya. Koi baat nahi, mai khud bata deta hoo, lekin....." before Aneesh could continue with his narration, the doorbell rang. Aneesh is seen leaving the room and in about 7 mins he is seen entering again, this time with Monami. He brings her in front of the camera and continues, " dekho Monami, Hi bolo. Look at the Camera na, please. CAMERA KI TARAF DEKHO MONAMI and say Hi". Monami looks at the camera and says hi in a low voice. She was not able to understand why he was recording her. Ahh, mai to bhool hi gaya ki maine ye recording kyu shuru ki thi. Uss din tumhe aur Karan ko uss waterfall me dekha, par mujhe bilkul achcha nahi laga Monu, he said while stroking her hair and then suddenly grabbing a handful of them and turning her face to him. He continued, " tumhe pata hai, Riya tumhari wajah se maari gayi, mai to tumhare saath khelna chahta tha. College me jab tum aayi thi, maine tabse tumhe apna target banaya tha. Bholi se, masoom si ladki. Just my type. Maine tumhari friend ko ek offer diya tha. Mai uske videos delete kar deta agar wo tumhe mere pass bhej deti, par us bewakoof ne mera kaha nahi maana. Isiliye mujhe ab tak intezaar karna pada iss golden moment ka. Par, tum Badal gayi ho Monami. You are not my type anymore. Par jab bhi tumhe dekhta hoo na to aisa lagta hai ki, tumhare saath ye game khelna hi padega. Kitna achcha hota agar tumne apna oversmart dimaag na lagaya hota. Lekin koi baat nahi, ab hume koi disturb nahi karega." Every single word that he said while looking at Monami, touching her inappropriately, fueled Karan's anger. But he had to keep watching. If Aneesh made this video knowing Karan would come there, it means he wants to play with him. Kind of like challenging him to chase him.
" Karan..." Monami freezed at hearing karan's name from Aneesh's mouth while the recording. She remembered the moment Karan hugged her at the road and confessed his feelings but she didn't reply. She wanted to make a fresh start after ending all of this. But now it seemed like this chance would never come. She would never be able to tell Karan how much she loves him. She came back to reality when she felt a strong needle pushing itself in. It was Aneesh injecting her with aneshthesia. He threw the syringe away. Monami could feel her legs going numb. She could see Aneesh's lips moving but could not make out what he was saying. She whispered karan's name looking at the camera before passing out. Aneesh took her out in the hall, and returned to the camera," iska wicket to gir gaya, par mai tumhe ek hint deta hoo Karan. Monami ke doobne se pehle, use bacha sakte ho to bacha lena". Saying this he winked at the camera and left the room. After exactly 15 minutes Karan sees himself entering in the room. That means Aneesh must be in a close location. But where exactly could he go in those 15 minutes.

From Aneesh's point of view:
Something like simple curiosity turns into obsession when questions are not answered. For Aneesh, when in college, he was curious about Monami. Maybe, he would not have done what he did if Riya hadn't interfered but, it wasn't true that Riya died because of her. She died because she got caught up in the whirlwind of drugs. When she could not handle the pressure, ending her life seemed the easiest option. But looking at Riya, he felt amazed. When he saw her struggling for her life, begging, it gave him a sense of relief. And that's where his obsession with Monami started. Although many years passed by, he kept thinking about ways through which he would be able to see Monami in the exact same position. He would feel happy when she would be in pain. And because it was his obsession. Very soon Monami became a toy for him. So when he returned, he felt the easy going girl would still be the same. But here he saw a changed Monami. This baffled him. Somewhere exciting him. He was fascinated by this new side of hers. Thus this plan of kidnapping Kamini aunty. He understood she will do anything to save her. Plus manipulating her that she caused Riya's death is like fuel to the fire. It would add to Monami's guilt. Making it easier to play his mind game. In short, his psychopath mind was already seeing Monami as the victim.
' but, because they lack empathy and genuine feelings, it is fascinating how they (psychopaths) are able to live in our society among us just like us, play with our children and sometimes end up killing them. Just for FUN' - author.
GUYS I THINK I WILL NEED TO ADD ANOTHER CHAPTER. HONESTLY I AM REALLY TRYING TO WRAP IT UP BUT AS SOON AS I START WRITING, I REALISE I HAVE TO EXPLAIN THE CHARACTERS IN A DEPTH FOR THE READERS TO BE ABLE TO UNDERSTAND THEM AND CONNECT WITH THEM. ALSO, THIS CONCEPT OF PSYCHOPATH REALLY INSPIRED ME TO BUILD UP ANEESH's CHARACTER. I REALLY HOPE THIS IS ENTERTAINING AT THE SAME TIME I HOPE MY READERS KNOW THAT THIS IS JUST A FANFICTION AND IT HAS NO CONNECTION TO REAL LIFE.
BUT WE SHOULD ALWAYS BE CAREFUL OF OUR SURROUNDING AND PEOPLE WE INTERACT WITH. BECAUSE THERE HAVE BEEN CASES OF PSYCHOPATHS IN REAL LIFE AND THEY EXIST WITH US, JUST LIKE NORMAL HUMANS.
