Chapter Five: Updated and Edited 2025
The next morning, we arrived at school and i noticed that Edward wasn't there when the Cullen's arrived at school.
As Bella and i stepped out of the orange truck i looked over and i saw 'The one in pain', Jasper, nod at me.
I knew what it ment. I knew that the Cullens had agreed to my terms and were allowing me to stay on their side of the boarder. I nod back before i walk inside the school with Bella.

The next few days were the same, no Edward, and as much as i enjoyed it, i could tell that Bella didn't.
"Bella!" I shout one morning when i see that she tripped over on the ice.
I watch as Dad goes and picks her up off the floor
"Are you alright?" He asks her
"Yeah, but ice doesn't really help the uncoordinated" She says and i laugh as we get into the orange truck again for school.
"Just so you know, i'll be late to dinner, some security guard got killed by some sort of animal" Charlie says as my head snaps to him
"What?" I ask
"Animal?" Bella questions
"Your not in Phoenix anymore girls, anyway, i suggested that i lend a hand"
"Just.. be careful" I say
He nods and i shut the door of Bella's truck and we drive off, me thinking back and forth about whether being in Forks was the right design for Bella when i know vampires are going on killing sprees.

"Sup Arizona, how you liking the rain?" Mike laughs as he shakes his hat out on Bella's head as soon as we walk into the classroom.
He looks at me, but sees the look i'm giving him and decides that it would be best to just put his hat on the stand, away from me.
Erik starts talking to Mike about something and i look over at Bella and i see her looking... at Edward.
So he finally decided to show, real cute.
I walk past her, to sit behind her desk, and i nod at Edward, reluctantly, but i know that it would be in my best interest to keep the peace.

After the lesson, i watch as Bella walks out of the room with Edward.
They had been chatting the whole lesson and i think he was actually trying to be normal.
I walk past them as they stand next to a set of lockers. As if in slow motion i see Edward glance at me as her back faces my direction.
I simply walk past, not giving him the time of day, as i exit out of the school.
I lean against Bella's truck as i wait for her to exit after me.
It's quiet, outside for a while and it allows me a minute to think. I knew what was happening, i knew that Edward was attracted to Bella and i wasn't exactly sure how to feel about a vampire wanting to be with my sister.
Before i could stress myself out further, i watch as Bella walks across the yard.
"Hey Bell's, I-"
Suddenly tyres are heard scrapping against the road as if out of nowhere.
I lift my head as i see an out-of-control van speeding towards Bella and i.
Within seconds i place my arms around her and turn my back towards the oncoming van. I knew there was no time to move us so if it hits us, it decided it was better if it hit me. My back would stop it, because of my Werewolf bones- practically made of steal.
However i was aware of the questions that would arise after.
I hear the van speeding quicker towards us and i brace myself, but all i feel is a little bump on my back and i look beside me to see Edward.
As if in slow motion, i look behind me and i see the indent that his hand has had on the car.
I look into his eyes and i see that worry that he has in them, partly because of what might have happened to Bella, but also the worry that people will find out about what he is. The noise of the shock washing off people brings about a commotion and they start to rush over.
"Go!" I say, abasing my better judgment "Leave before they see what you've done" I quickly shout to him. He nods and jumps over the car as i check Bella over for injuries.
I see her in shock looking at Edward driving away.
