Where is season 2!!!! I need my daily dose of Eda being an icon! On another note, anyone watch Amphibia?!?!?!? Disney channel is really killing it in the animated show department. Anyway, sorry for killing Steve... I loved him as well. Enjoy the chapter!!!

Three days have passed since the Titans attempt to take total control over Luz. There was a service the next day for the fallen emperor and Steve and all of the Boiling Isles attended the funeral. It was held at the castle, and it was filled with beautiful plants, planted by Willow, and was decorated by Gus, Edric, and Emira's illusions. Luz's attendance at the funeral finally put all rumors about the mysterious human to rest. Now everyone knows that she's about to be coronated as their new empress.
Luz hasn't said a single word to anyone or anything. In fact, she hasn't spoken or eaten since the clean-up of the Titans mess. Lilith and Eda have been spending every day with the human to try and cheer her up but to no avail. Eda's also been noticing that Luz is avoiding sleep now. It's quite obvious due to the bags under her eyes, and her sluggish attitude. The owl lady understands Luz's situation and what she just went through, so she isn't going to leave the human's side until she fully recovers back to her normal self. Amity tries to see Luz, but Lilith and Eda don't think it's a good idea at the moment, so the young witch resorts to texting her, but Luz just ignores all and any contact. Luz's eyes changed as well. Her eyes are still a chestnut brown, but ever since the enchantment to keep the Titan imprisoned in her mind, whenever she gets angry, a slight red glow appears. It's not as dominant as the Titans red glow, but it's still there. This was first discovered when Luz looked at her own reflection, she lost it and punched the mirror and when the guards ran in to see what happened, they stepped away in fear at the humans' red eyes.
With Luz wielding the power of the Titan now, a lot more witches have a newfound respect for the human, including Kikimora. But Luz refuses to use her power, in fear of what she did to Steve and her adoptive father. Eda offers to teach Luz how to control her magic, but Luz refuses to even cast a light spell.
Today was different though. Willow, Gus, and Amity all agreed to go get Luz out of the castle, and take her to the fair in town. The three meet up at the owl house first, so that Eda can take them on Owlbert. Willow, Gus, and Eda seem to be chatty, but Amity is kind of mad at the lack of effort Luz is putting into her own recovery.
The four witches arrive at the castle and are greeted by Lilith and a couple of guards. The head coven leader seems to be on edge today and is not confident about her sisters' arrival. "Edalyn, I'm not sure today is a good day. Luz is running on zero hours of sleep again, and she's extremely on edge due to her coronation tomorrow."
"This is exactly why she needs to get out. First, she needs to eat junk food with her friends. Next, she has to have fun with the three musketeers. Then finally, we have got to tire her out so she sleeps." Eda says as she walks past her sister and into the castle.
Lilith plays with her hands, like a nervous tick, while she follows her once wanted sister. Willow turns to Gus and Amity "Hey guys, maybe one day Luz can show us the relics hall. I've always wanted to try the Green Thumb Gauntlet!! It has the power to grow whatever you want!!!"
Gus squeals "Yes!!! I want to try the Oracle Sphere. It tells you the path to become your best self."
The two turn to Amity wondering if she has anything else to add. "I just want to get her out of bed first. Then when she's better, I'll worry about relics." Amity shoots the two a glare. Willow and Gus look down, ashamed they're thinking of themselves when the sole purpose they're there is to help their friend.
The three young witches come to a stop as Eda nears a grand door "Ok! We're here!" She turns to Luz's friends "Listen, this might be hard to see. She hasn't been the same, and that's why today is so important. Today will show her that we're not going anywhere. Ok?" They nod and Eda ponders how to go about this "Ok now I think we all go in at once and ease her out of bed."
Before Eda can finish her plan, Amity pushes past the owl lady and goes into the room, only to shut the door behind her. Willow, Gus, and Eda look at each other quizzically and just shrug. All of a sudden they hear muffled yelling. "Get out of bed. You don't even sleep. You are coming out with us and you're going to have a good time!!" "NO, LEAVE ME ALONE!" "Fine, you leave me no choice." A bang erupted from the room "YOU FIEND!!! LET GO OF MEEEE!!!!" "Get.. Out.. Of.. Bed..." All of a sudden, the door bursts open to show an exhausted human. Luz walks out, past the three witches, and heads towards the gates of the castle. Amity follows, with her hair all messy. She steps out of the room, fixes her hair, and turns to Eda "Ok. Got her out of bed. Let's go before she decides she wants to experiment with her new powers." Amity walks off after Luz.
Eda laughs and follows "Man. I like her the more I get to know her. And she's a Blight!"
Willow and Gus laugh at Eda's comment and head after the human.
The journey was uncomfortable. Lilith had to join so Luz had protection, not that she needed any. It was Eda, Willow, and Gus to a staff, and Lilith, Amity, and Luz to a staff. Luz had her arms crossed and had a pouty mood. Amity was just annoyed because she knew she's going to have to drag Luz everywhere today.
The gang arrived in Bonesburrow, at the fair. Willow and Gus plan together on what to do first while Luz stands silent next to Amity, who's not going to let Luz out of her sight. Eda looks at the four young kids "Ok. So enjoy the fair. Lilly and I are just going to scam people."
Lilith rolls her eyes "No, you're going to scam people. I'm just going to stand near you and turn a blind eye considering I'm the head of the emperors' coven and I should arrest you for doing that." Eda winks at her sister, and the two walk off into the crowd.
Willow and Gus nod towards each other and turn back to Luz and Amity. "Ok so Luz, since this is your first fair, where do you want to start." Willow turns to Luz.
Luz looks unamused and just rolls her eyes. Amity scolds her and answers for her "Willow, it's all up to you. Luz is grateful that you're doing this."
Gus and Willow nervously laugh and start off with mini-games. The whole day was fun for the three witches, but Luz didn't participate in any games. Amity dragged her on the rides, but she didn't look like she was having a good time. Willow and Gus ignored Luz's bad attitude and continued to have fun while the Blight girl only got annoyed. It was around 1:15 pm and the four friends sat down and ordered lunch. They all sat in awkward silence while Luz just looked at her food.
That was the last straw for Amity. She slammed the table as she got up and dragged Luz into an ally where she could yell at the human. "Listen, I get that you're grieving right now, but we're trying really hard to try and cheer you up. The least you can do is pretend you're enjoying yourself!" Luz crosses her arms and turns her head from the green-haired witch. Amity furrows her eyebrows further than they already were "LUZ! What you went through was terrible. But guess what, Eda, Lilith, and I all went through a lot to get you back! I saw everything and to be honest, I was terrified three days ago. And yes we have two totally different situations, but at least I'm trying to heal."
Luz turns her head to Amity who now has tears in her eyes. Luz never considered how Amity, Eda, and Lilith felt. She sighed and bowed her head. "I can't even look at my own reflection. I'm so disgusted. I had no control and now.... I just feel so alone."
Amity's eyes lighten up as the human finally spoke about the issue "You're not alone dummy." the two smile slightly "You have Willow and Gus trying to make you smile. You have Eda and Lilith checking up on you every day trying to help you. You also have me. I know for sure that I'm not going anywhere."
"I'm sorry. I never considered what you had to go through as well." Luz hugs Amity and lets a tear escape "Thank you."
Both the girls blush and hold each other tightly."Now, let's go eat. You look terrible." Amity releases the hug and laughs at the human.
Luz laughs because Amity is right, she looks like she's sick. The two walk shoulder to shoulder, back to the two other witches to eat a long-awaited lunch. The rest of the day was much better than before lunch. Luz actually made an effort to smile and participate. It wasn't much, but it was an effort. The four friends played almost every mini-game there was to be played.
When the fair was wrapping up Eda and Lilith made their way back with bags of money and smiles across their faces. Eda notices Luz is talking and smiles wider than before. "Hey, kids. What do you say we pack up and head back to the owl house."
Before anyone can agree Lilith interjects "Not tonight sister. Luz has a very big day tomorrow and Titan knows she needs her rest."
Luz flinches at the word Titan "The Titan doesn't know anything. He's nothing but a forgotten thought. But you have a point. Eda, you take Willow and Gus home." Luz turns to her two friends and hugs them goodbye "Thank you, guys. I really appreciate what you did for me today." Willow and Gus smile and say their goodbyes, and hop onto Owlbert. Eda waves goodbye and flies off. Luz then turns to Lilith and Amity. "Hey Lilith, would you mind if Amity slept over? If that's ok with you Mittens."
Lilith smiles "Luz, you tell me what to do. You're the empress here."
Amity is red in the face "Me and you. Sleepover? Just... Us?"
"Yeah. Your parents won't mind considering I'm their new boss!" Luz laughs at herself.
The three girls fly back to the castle. They are greeted by the guards and Kikimora at the front gates. "My liege, will you be having dinner tonight? Or shall I tell the royal chef to discard the dinner she's made?"
Luz freezes. She doesn't feel right eating in the dining hall without emperor Belos. Lilith notices Luz's discomfort and answers on her behalf "That won't be necessary Kiki. Luz, Amity, and I will eat in her room."
"That's another issue I have to talk to you about. Since Luz is to be crowned empress tomorrow, she needs to move into the royal chambers. Her room will be converted back into a normal spare room." Kiki states while looking at Luz, purposely ignoring Lilith.
Luz stands tall and pushes all her emotions to the side "Very well. I will move tomorrow when it's official. Please move all of my fathers' belongings into boxes by tonight. And I will have dinner in the dining hall tonight with my guests. I have to move on, and the only way to do that is to continue my everyday life. That will be all Kiki." Luz walks into the castle, leaving a worried expression on Lilith and Amity's faces.
Kiki bows and turns to the two guests "Remember you two. The Titan is trapped in her mind, not destroyed. Who knows what's changed in her." Kiki walks off into the castle to follow Luz's orders.
Amity turns to Lilith as they do the same "Do you think the Titan will escape."
"I don't think so. But I also don't think he's just going to stay quiet inside her mind. That's why she's afraid to go to sleep you know. And probably why she wants you to spend the night, so she doesn't get scared." Lilith says quietly so that only Amity can hear.
Luz stops in front of a door. Lilith looks at Luz with concern and puts her hand on her shoulder. Amity walks up to the human and gives her a reassuring nod. Luz lets out a faint smile and pushes the door open. Amity gets chills from the memory of Luz's past dinners here. Luz walks to the table and stares at the chair her father would occupy every dinner. "I'm not Empress yet, so I shouldn't sit at the head tonight." Luz looks at Lilith for confirmation and she just nods.
The three sit and stay silent. Lilith decides to cut the tension with conversation "So Luz. I know you're going to be ruling the Boiling Isles and all, but do you plan on attending Hexside again?"
"Ummm. I haven't really thought about that. I guess to be a good ruler, I should learn from all of the tracks." Luz thinks for a moment "You know what, why not. Bump won't have a problem considering I'll be the boss of everyone tomorrow."
The two witches laugh at the humans' comment. The dinner is served, and the three enjoy dinner together. It was a nice moment considering the week they've had. Lilith and Luz bonded more than they ever have. As dinner concluded, Lilith went off to her room, and Luz and Amity went to Luz's room.
Amity was strangely quiet and really red. Luz noticed and smiled to herself "Hey Am's, you can borrow some of my pj's. They're not much considering Kikimora designed all my pj's to be exactly the same, but it's something."
"Oh... wearing your pajamas... yes... ok... cool..." Amity is internally screaming. The girls get ready for bed and Amity notices a small detail. "Hey, Luz? Where will I sleep?"
Luz smiles and blushes a little "Next to me. Why? Is that a problem?"
Amity once again gets redder than a tomato "Problem? No! Why would there be a problem! Noooo problem whatsoever in this area!!!" She laughs nervously "I have to stop talking."
They both get into Luz's bed. Amity is tenser than a brick at the moment, and Luz is laughing in her head at the Blights' behavior. "Ams' you can relax. It's just me. If you're this uncomfortable then you can use a spare room." Luz smiles through her sentence but hopes she stays. Truthfully Luz is terrified to sleep alone, because of the Titan and everything."
Amity sits up almost immediately "NO. I'm fine really." She lets out a deep breath and lays back down. It gets quiet after this. Luz doesn't know what to say and Amity is just a nervous wreck. Both have a lot on their mind. "Hey, Luz. How are you... Really?"
Luz continues to stare at the ceiling in deep thought "I-... I can barely recognize myself right now. I've been so afraid to close my eyes, in fear I will see their faces, or worse, the Titans." Luz's expression becomes sad.
Amity goes and holds Luz's hand "Well, I guess that's what I'm here for. If you do, you wake me up and we can talk about it."
"Thanks." Luz looks at the girl beside her. "How are you holding up?"
Amity stares into the chestnut brown eyes staring back at her "I'm doing better. Ed and Em have been sleeping in my room to make sure I'm ok. My mom and dad have been surprisingly supportive as well, which is very shocking. I've come to the realization that they're only hard on me because they only want me to succeed." Luz and Amity share a smile and both go back to stare at the ceiling "Hey, Luz? do you remember anything when you were brainwashed or when you were being controlled?"
Luz stares at the ceiling with hurt in her voice "Yes. Every breath and movement." The two stay silent, but Luz smiles at the memory "I also remember a certain everlasting oath. What was it again? Oh yeah, if I like fiction then-" Luz stops her sentence and looks at Amity with a smug look.
Amity is ONCE AGAIN blushing "If you like fiction, then you have to go to Grom with me." Amity did not take her eyes off of the ceiling, trying to avoid all eye contact with the human holding her hand in the same bed as her.
Luz laughed once again "I understand you did that to try and bring back my memories. If you don't want to go with me I-"
Amity cuts her off "NO...No. I would like to attend Grom with you. If only you would like to?"
"I would love to" Luz blushes and closes her eyes "Well, I have three days worth of sleep to catch up on and a big day tomorrow. Goodnight Mittens.'
Luz doses off into a deep sleep while Amity watches in admiration. All she does is smile at the girl next to her. "Goodnight Luz." "I love you," she says in her mind. Amity is so excited she stays awake for another hour just watching Luz sleep. The witch is so in love, she can only hope Luz will one day feel the same way.

Luz is on the throne. All that is heard is the pumping of the bile sac bonded with the human. Luz understands the consequences of the enchantment and was expecting this to happen. Luz stands from the throne and goes up to the caged figure in front of her. "Hello. Titan Belos."
"Luz!!!! Jeez, you don't sleep do ya! I was wondering when we were going to talk again. Listen what I did was..... uncalled for, but I'm hoping we could just brush my behavior to the side since we're stuck with each other now." The Titan is now in his original form all chained up, inside a cage, trapped in Luz's mind.
"Hmm. You got what you deserved." Luz scolds the Titan and walks face to face with him.
"Yes, I agree. BUT now we're gonna be so close. I mean it's not like either of us have a choice. Well.... How do you like your new power? Pretty great huh?!?!" The Titan smiles.
Luz still scolds the chained creature "I'm not going to use it."
The Titan laughs "Ah but you will. And when you can't control it, you'll come to me for guidance. Your friends can't help you with MY magic sooo...." He shrugs with a devilish smirk.
"We'll see about that." Luz leaves the throne room prison created in her mind.
The Titan laughs out loud and says as loud as he possibly can, without sounding threatening "YOU'LL BE BACK!!!! THEY ALWAYS COME BACK!!!!"
