THIRD PERSON POV:
"It worked! Guys, it worked!" Hazel screamed in excitement as the triplets covered their ears while Bella raised both hands up and down. "It worked," Hazel said again in a whisper.
Then she grabbed the book, placing a kiss on the old, browned pages. "I promise to love you for the days of my life," she said to it, then she got to her feet.
"I'm glad this is working, and I cannot even tell you how mad I am with my mother, but still I cannot say anything to her, because 'mother knows best,"" Bella said with her voice dripping in sarcasm.
Hazel grabbed her wand and looked at the short spell, then Riley crossed her mind.
"You know I will have to perform this spell on Riley, right? We were six there, and even if he was unconscious, they will do whatever to make sure he didn't remember. I am pretty sure they will still do it on all the students, if they haven't," Hazel said, and the triplets glanced at each other.
"That means he will have to live with the fact that Bella is a vampire," Ryder said with his face wrinkled.
"I know this guy is your mate, and you love him, but we still do not fully trust him. He is Fae's cousin, and for what we know, he could be working with Fae," Finn added, and Bella interjected, "Wait!"
They all turned to face her.
"Riley also received a message from Hazel asking him to come to the woods, and..."
"I didn't send a message to any of you," Hazel cut her short, and everyone stared at her wide-eyed. "Wait, it must have skipped my mind when you told the story at first. I swear I didn't," she said, reaching for her phone in her pocket, then she showed it to them.
Bella grabbed her phone and showed them the message, and Hazel checked the time. This took her mind back to the meeting with Fae.
"Fae! But she was speaking to me the whole time, and..." Her mind went further to the fact Sebastian was moving around a lot on that day. "Sebastian!" she tightened her fist.
"I had a meeting with her yesterday evening in her cabin, and she must have..." Hazel paused. "Oh, my God!" she put a hand across her lips.
"What?" they all chorused.
"It was my fault Riley got entangled in all this. Fae found out about us, and I tried to hide it by saving his name as Bella. Sebastian must have sent a text to both numbers saved as Bella on my phone," she said, and then a fresh wave of anger crossed her chest. "I want to give the both of them a hard pound on their face!"
"It's okay," Bella said, getting to her feet. Then she walked to Hazel. "And you can do the spell on Riley too, because I trust him," she said, and the triplets all stared at her.
"What?" she asked. "When you all were being asses, Hazel trusted you, and she gave you a chance even when she knew you could hurt me, so I am going to give Riley a chance," she said, and Hazel pulled her into a hug, wrapping her arms tightly around her.
"Thank you, Bella," she muttered, and then she pulled away. "Let's get this done with now," Hazel said, reading out the spell, then positioning her wand on the triplets, who shuddered slightly.
She did the same on Bella and on herself.
"It is done," she said, and they sighed in relief. "Now we wait for the entire management of Howlstone and whoever the fuck runs this camp to try to erase our memory," Hazel said, then she made her way to the door.
"I am going to Riley's room now. I hope he is not awake yet, because that will help me do the spell faster, then we can talk about it later," she said, then she left.
Hazel made her way down the empty hall, which had its fluorescent lights embedded in the ceiling above, shining brightly. Finally, she got to Riley's room, then she turned the knob, pulling the door open to meet two faces, causing her to shove her hands behind with the spell book.
One was unfamiliar, and he was a dark-haired, tall, muscular boy, while the other was that of Ian. She always had a hunch that he hated her, but the moment he saw her, his words confirmed it.
"What the fuck are you doing here?" his hard tone bounced off the walls of the room, leaving Hazel speechless with her mouth ajar.
She wanted to tell the book to shrink, but she was out of words, and to her greatest surprise, it shrunk on its own. "Who is this?" Noble asked, and Ian got to his feet.
"The bitch who put Riley in this condition, and what I do not know, is what the fuck she is still doing here. I do not beat girls, but I wouldn't hold back on pushing a bitch out!" Ian's face was hardened as he marched up to Hazel, who found her legs glued to the ground.
The moment he got close to her, he pressed his palms against her chest, giving her a hard push, causing her to stumble out into the hallway to the view of Finn, who had just left Bella's room.
Finn took to his heels at once, rushing to the scene.
"What the hell?" he questioned, grabbing Ian by the collar and plastering his knuckles to his face, which sent Ian stumbling back, but he planted his feet firmly on the ground, allowing him to regain his stance, then he chuckled.
"Noble, why don't we show this Howlstone Princess why he shouldn't mess with the Husk High boys," Ian said, and both he and Noble cracked their knuckles, walking out into the hallway.
"Come on," Finn said, cracking his knuckles too.
"You can run now with the girl, and we will act like we saw two girls," Ian said, and Noble chuckled.
"Two against one, but do not worry, we will go easy on you."
Hazel let out a short laugh as they cornered Finn.
"The fact you think being a girl makes me weak shows how timid you are," she said, and then they looked at her like she was psycho, and she said the word, "Pain."
