Chapter 223: VICTORY

300 Days With The Alpha Beta TripletsWords: 5403

THIRD PERSON POV:

Bella stood over Enzo's battered form, her chest heavy from the stresss. Blood dripped from the cuts on her face and arms, but victory was near, so she held herself steady.

"Bella! Catch!" Kai yelled, tossing her the stake.

"No, you do not have to do this. We are partners," Enzo said to her, and Bella scoffed. She hated the fact he thought his 'sweet' words would change her heart after she saw him take everyone she cared about.

Bella reached up, her fingers closing around the black shaft, then she glared at Enzo, who was struggling under her grip. His once-dominating presence was reduced to desperation.

"You deserve nothing but death," Bella said to him, and he chuckled.

"I will always find a way to ret-" Before he could finish, she drove the stake into his heart, and he gave a deafening scream that reverberated through the ground.

Dark energy swirled around him as his body was being torn apart. Bella wasted no time pulling the stake free and driving it into his head. The entire ground trembled as Enzo's body began to disintegrate. His flesh burned away, leaving only ash on the ground.

"Well done," Bella heard Radolf say, and she stood with her heart palpitating as she stared at the remnants of Enzo. From where she stood, he seemed like nothing, but remembering all she had endured almost made her tear up.

Above ground, the battlefield erupted in chaos as the vampires collapsed one by one, their forms dissolving into dust as their connection to Enzo broke. He was dead now, and so were all his disciples.

"Bella!" her mates called down to her.

She looked up at her mates, and when she saw the darkness of the clouds shift to a clear sky, she couldn't help but allow the tears to fall. They had been fighting all night, and now it was morning.

With a swift jump, Bella ascended high above ground, and Ryder, who had his hand extended, grabbed hers as she reached near the opening. He helped her up.

The moment she hit the ground, her group surrounded her. The triplets pulled her into a group hug, and Bella cried badly on their bodies. She let out all she had been holding in for a long time-all the emotions Radolf had her swallow to beat Enzo-the fact she would not see her mother until she died.

"It's over," Finn said as they wrapped their hands around Bella. She pulled away from them, giving them a faint smile as Ryder wiped away her tears.

Hazel was about to rush in for a hug when Bella's body suddenly went stiff, and she fell backward, but Kai caught her before her body could hit the ground. Her eyes glowed like they had earlier.

"I think Radolf has taken over again," Hazel said as Kai laid Bella on the ground to rest.

**

Bella returned to the inside of her body where Radolf was waiting.

"Well done, Bella. You have freed the entire population from Enzo's reign."

Bella was still mad at him for what had happened earlier, so she stared at him without a word.

"I would love to stay in your interesting mind, but then I have to run. My time is up in this world."

When she heard this, she was more than glad, as she wanted her body whole.

"For being brave, I will grant you only one wish. So, what is it you desire the most?"

When he asked this, Bella's eyes widened in shock. She wondered if she could bring someone back from the dead. "You cannot raise the dead, remember that," he said to her, and she inhaled sharply. Then she remembered her father. "Think deeply, Bella," he said to her.

"Can I get an image of what is going on outside? I want to see my father."

Radolf nodded, then he allowed her to see her father, who had been carried out of the battlefield by the remaining werewolf soldiers.

"He is doing fine," Radolf said to her, and she got the notion he wanted her to be wiser.

She shut her eyes at once, thinking of everyone she cared about, including those who had died. Then she remembered Fae, causing her to clench her fingers.

"Fae!" She gritted her teeth. "Where is she? Did she survive this?" she questioned, and Radolf showed her Fae's location.

She was hiding in the ruins of the Frost Pack. Her blood boiled. After everything Fae had survived? She clenched her fists as more anger coursed through her veins.

"Remember, once you ask, you cannot take it back, and it will be granted," he said, and she nodded.

She exhaled deeply, trying to calm her mind, but all she could think about was getting rid of Fae. She was the cause

of her problem, and her surviving would only make things worse. Moonfire would never know peace.

"I have made my choice," she said, staring into Radolf's eyes. "While going to meet with the Moon Goddess, can you make a brief stop in hell and leave Fae there, please?" she asked in the most polite way.

"Your wish is my command," he said to her, then he gave her a bow, and slowly he faded away from her.

His spirit left her body as light, and her friends watched him. Then Bella gave a forced gasp as she came back to life to meet the faces of her mates.

Her lips curved into a smile. Hazel threw her arms around her.

"Please tell me this is over," she said to her, and Bella nodded.

"It is over. Radolf is gone, and he promised to grant me one wish," she said, and they all looked at her.

"I wished for Fae to go to hell, literally," she answered without waiting for them to ask, and they burst out laughing.

Her words sent a relief to their chests as they knew they wouldn't be seeing her forever.
