Bella:
As we walked into the hallway, students gushed at us, and I could see girls talking
about us.
"Is that Bella?"
"I like what she has done with her hair."
"The triplets are in for a thrill, and they can't touch her back at this rate."
"Gosh, I wish my parents had this kind of money, then I would have this kind of glow up."
The comments I was getting made me feel good, and what made it even better was when I spotted the triplets at the end of the hallway close to their lockers. Finn and Kai looked okay, but Ryder had a black hoodie on.
The moment we locked eyes, he held his gaze for a moment before he looked away, slamming the door of his locker and walking away, leaving the twins who didn't bother to speak to him. I could feel something was wrong, but I didn't want to care.
Finn and Kai left shortly while I focused on the girls. My eyes darted around the hallway, and I saw Hazel turn away, rushing off. That gave an odd feeling in my chest, but I couldn't break character at the moment as we were in the middle of a show.
Before I could get over what happened with Hazel, a signature cherry blossom scent hit me, and I looked up to see Fae walking towards us with her fairies behind her in swift but calculated steps. The girls and I faced them, giving our best poses, which showed our red bottoms.
"I see someone decided to upgrade her wardrobe," Fae said, sizing me up. "Well, I am proud, I must say," she added, then gave a brief chuckle.
"Look at that, fairies, all my haters recruiting into one little cute group to take me down. Now that is something you do not see every day. Amusing," she said, and the girls kept mute.
"I said, amusing!" she kept a straight face, tightening her left hand into a fist while her right hand was curled with her handbag hanging on her elbow.
The girls gave a brief chuckle, and she cocked her head with a smile.
Then she faced Rebby.
"I guess someone is still pissed about our little difference, but how is that even my fault? I might be evil Fae, but I am desirable, and he keeps begging for more. But we used to be friends, Rebby, so I'm doing you a favor." She squinted her eyes, and Rebby made a move, but I put my hand out, holding her back.
"Give it up, Fae, and we can call a truce. But before I do that, I am going to make you pay for what you have done."
"So, Ryder wants you. What's the big deal? I have had my shot with him, and thanks to you, he is falling off slowly. For a start, he is no longer captain for lying to the coach, just to go be a sneaky link."
After she said this, she didn't even wait for me to react. Instead, she grazed shoulders with me, walking off with her fairies while I tried to take in what she said.
"Are you okay?" Aubrey asked, and I forced a smile on my face, turning around. Suddenly, the bell went off.
"Let's get to class, girls," I said, and then we all dispersed.
I thought Hazel was mad at me, but the moment I walked into class, she yelled. "That's my best friend!"
Everyone's attention was already on me, but the fact she was proud of me made it less awkward, and I made my way to my seat. The moment I sat down, she pulled me into a hug.
"I thought you were mad at me," I said, and she scoffed.
"Well, I don't like the idea of you going off all night, but hell, yeah, you look great," she said, hugging me again before the teacher walked into class.

When the last bell went, Hazel and I left class speaking about random stuff until we got to the cafe. When I sat down, I took off my heels, breathing a sigh of relief.
"I do not know how these girls do it, but my feet are killing me," I said, and she chuckled.
"You should sit. I will get our food," she said, and I nodded as she left for the counter.
Students in the cafe still talked about me, and although it made me feel good, I couldn't take my mind off the fact Ryder was withdrawn as captain.
"Hey, sis," Rebby's voice pierced my thoughts, and I looked up to see the trio in front of me, standing with their handbags positioned for public view. "You do not leave your sisters behind, and I do not think you have learned that."
"You can have a seat then," I paused, forcing the word out of my throat, "sis," I said, and then she rolled her eyes.
"We have some place to be this afternoon, and you are coming with us," she said, and I shook my head, turning back to look at Hazel.
"My friend is making orders for us, and..." Rebby grabbed my hand, pulling me up.
"You cannot eat here, because I already made reservations at a five-star restaurant."
Hazel came around at once, and when she saw the Sapphire Belles, she forced a smile onto her face. Then she placed both trays on the table.
"Hey, everyone," she said in a low tone. "You can go, Bella. I am really hungry, and I would like to eat two trays of food alone." The sarcasm in her voice was evident. "Hazel, I..."
"Should get going," she held up a smile, and the girls stared down at me.
I took a deep breath and got up, walking away with the girls while I occasionally looked back at Hazel until we left the cafe.

Shortly, we arrived at a five-star restaurant, and we had our lunch at the spot Rebby had reserved for us. After that, I expected to head back to school, but Rebby had other plans. We got back to their rented apartment, where we hung out until it was nighttime. Then she pulled out outfits from her wardrobe, persuading us to go to some college party with her.
Rebby made everyone get high at the party, including me, who needed some temporary relief, and it made me forget about everything and everyone in my life at the moment. My fun ended when I fell into a pool, and one of Rebby's college friends, Brad, rescued me.
"You do not want to make a pass at her because she is mated to the Alpha Prince." this was the last thing I heard from Rebby before I blacked out in Brad's arms.
The next time I gained consciousness, it was from Hazel's voice calling out to me. "... School."
"... Quiz."
I only heard half of the sentence she was making as my eyes struggled to open.
"I'll... be... ready in... a moment... for..." I paused, shutting my eyes. "To study... for the quiz."
I turned away from her, clutching my pillow harder, trying to drift back to sleep.
I felt Hazel's hands around my ears, tugging them gently, then she yelled, "Bella! The
quiz is today. You cannot be sleeping at the moment!"
I jerked up at once, my eyes widening...
