Seeing them goofy was funny, but not when nothing in my life seemed fun.
"You guys!" I yelled, causing him to stop. Then they gave me their attention.
"It's true. What were you doing with Fae again?" Ryder asked.
"Making plans on how to ditch you guys to go out with her." They kept a plain face when I said this, and I made smooching sounds as I wrapped my hands around my body.
"Haha, very funny." Finn said with a straight face, and I stopped at once.
"Well, I was explaining before your whole victory dance interrupted!" I raised my voice, tossing my body back on the bed as I gave a vast sigh again. "She wanted to be queen again, and I let her, because it doesn't matter to me. I have you guys now, and that is all that matters."
When I said this, they glanced at each other.
"You have sighed like a million times, and we want to assume that you would tell us if something was wrong, right?" Kai asked, and I held my gaze at him for a while before mouthing the word, "Yes."
