Chapter 81: TRUTH, DARE, OR STRIP

300 Days With The Alpha Beta TripletsWords: 8030

Third person pov:

The party was a roaring success for Fae. Her apartment was flooded with all the popular kids, laughter and music

echoing off the walls. Yet, seeing the triplets all over Bella gnawed at her, a sharp pang of jealousy twisting in her gut. She felt an overwhelming urge to tear them apart, and she felt the need to do it right away.

"Who knew this party was all we needed to unwind for the day?" Ryder mused, sipping from his cup. "I mean, coming from a shitty ex, I didn't expect it to be that good."

He had gone down a couple of cups, so he felt ecstatic.

"Yeah, I hate the host, but it's great," Kai added, and Finn nodded in agreement.

The triplets chatted, leaning on a table in the kitchen, while Bella sat on the island table, lost in thought. Her mind raced with what would happen when she got dared and everyone found out she chose to make out with Finn. She tried to convince herself it wasn't bad, and that she wasn't necessarily picking him over the rest. Hazel was wrong. She used to be obsessed with Ryder, so it was only fair that she loved another one so much, too. But then she was leaving out Kai.

You are overthinking it, Bella; she said to herself.

"The dare is about to start," Hazel's warm hand on her lap snapped Bella back to reality. She found herself face to face with Hazel, who had a huge grin plastered on her face.

Sebastian wasn't willing to go down with her, as he claimed he respected her. She hoped to get the bottle to land on her so she could have a moment with him in the closet, hoping it would drive him to want her, especially since everyone was getting drunk. Even if they weren't smoking, they had inhaled enough weed.

Bella hopped down from the table, her shoes making a squeaky sound as it landed on the tiles. Hazel faced the boys, who were involved in a little bromance as they sipped their drinks.

"When you guys are done kissing, you can join the game," Hazel said with a smirk, grabbing Bella's hand. The guys laughed lightly, and they informed them they would join the game for Bella's sake, but they had to finish up their drink, which was an entire bottle.

"It won't be fun at the beginning," Kai said, and then the girls left.

'Wait until Kai and Ryder see you gave them a flimsy dare while you get to make out with Finn.' A voice popped up Bella's head, but she ignored it.

Hazel and Bella made their way to the living room, which had people scattered around. They walked to the small circle formed in the middle. Many were still in various corners, dancing with their partners and smoking, so the game area was a bit empty.

"Where is everyone?" Aubrey asked with a sigh. "Not like I have anyone to kiss," she added.

"We'll see about that, Bree," Fae muttered.

"What was that?" Aubrey shot her a look, but Fae covered it up with a smile and cleared her throat, sitting on the floor.

"We're about eight here, so we can start. As everyone sees how fun this game is, they'll join the circle," she said, and they all looked at each other with a shrug.

Bella couldn't shake off Hazel's incessant bugging about Sebastian. She wished the bottle would land on her first, so they could have their moment, and she would get to breathe.

"Gather around, people, as we are about to play a game of truth, dare, or strip; courtesy of Howlstone's Queen Bee, Bella," Fae announced, and Bella rolled her eyes.

She had given her the title, although Fae was yet to announce to the school with a flashy outfit and a dramatic entrance.

Fae's compliment felt weird, and Bella hated it. She wanted to get over the over-familiarity because she knew Fae was a snake.

"The game goes like this: I spin the bottle, and when it lands on you, I'll tell you what dare your queen has for you," Fae explained. She spun the bottle, and it landed on Rebby first.

"Truth or dare, Rebs?" Fae asked, and Rebby excitedly jumped on the word "Truth."

Fae glanced at Bella with a smile, causing Bella's heart to skip a beat. She braced herself for the worst.

"Bella wants to know if you have forgiven me for sleeping with your ex?"

Bella sighed with relief, sinking back. Fae wasn't playing her stupid games. She was being surprisingly transparent. "Of course, Fae, I forgive you. Boys are stupid, but best friends are forever. Plus, my new guy is hotter."

"Aww," Fae cooed, pulling Rebby into a hug. Ernest got up from the circle and left. At that moment, Sebastian walked in, sitting close to Hazel, causing Bella to tense up. Hazel only served as the barrier between them. Bella tried to focus on the game, which was going seemingly well until the bottle landed on her.

"Truth or dare?" Fae asked, keeping a straight face.

Bella looked around and realized the triplets were nowhere to be found. She couldn't have a turn without them. "We're waiting?" Fae prompted.

Bella thought it might be something positive since none of the triplets were present to fight over it. "Dare, I go with dare," she decided, and a corner of Fae's lips lifted.

"Bella would like to get five minutes in the closet with Sebastian."

Bella's body went pale. She got to her feet. "She's lying!" she yelled, rushing towards Fae and grabbing the paper.

Hazel, trying to believe her best friend, remained calm while Bella read her own handwriting, stating the unthinkable. This had to be wrong, or she was dreaming.

"I.. I didn't write that," Bella said, shaking her head.

Of course, the students were recording, and she hated it but she couldn't stop it. Yelling wouldn't stop them, and she would only look like a madwoman the next day.

"All curated by your Queen Bella. Something to spice up the evening, I guess. Everywhere is boring, so Bella, what's it going to be?"

"I want to go with truth, truth!" Bella said, her entire body shaking as she glanced from Sebastian to Fae and the students with their phones in her face.

She tried to avoid Hazel's eyes.

"No going back on your choice," Fae said, getting to her feet. "So what's it going to be, Bella? Dare or strip?" Bella swallowed hard, looking at Hazel, whose face was reddening.

"Hazel, I would never, please..."

Before she could finish, the crowd began to chant and slam their hands on the floor. "Dare or strip! Dare or strip!" Bella took a huge gulp. She couldn't go stark naked in the crowd, but she couldn't make out with Sebastian either. But then again, it's not like anyone would see them making out, so she didn't have to do it.

As she opened her mouth to speak, Hazel got up at once. "I can't watch this." She ran off.

"I'll do the dare," Bella said as her best friend vanished into the crowd heartbroken, and Fae smiled, directing them towards her room. The entire crowd followed behind.

Hazel ran into the triplets, who were confused on why the entire house was filled with chants.

"What's happening? What's with the chant?" Finn asked, grabbing her hand, but she withdrew.

"Why don't you ask your girlfriend who's going to kiss my boyfriend?" Hazel walked off, her eyes clouded with tears. The triplets rushed through the crowd, pushing past them to see Fae standing in front of a closet.

The moment she saw them, she moved away with a sinister smile.

"You must be enjoying this," Bella said, leaning on the wall opposite Sebastian, who chuckled and closed in on her. "Do you even care about her? Look at what you are doing to her. I fucking hate you."

"Rain down curses on me all you want, sweetie, but it won't change a thing." He said, trying to hold her, but she pushed him away.

"Hazel will never believe this, and I'm sure she'll come to her senses.

"We'll see about that."

The closet door opened at once, and Finn pulled Sebastian out like a rag doll, flinging him to the ground with a punch to his face.

He was about to go in for another when Kai held him back. Sebastian got to his feet, taking a step back. Other students were recording as they backed away, scared of the triplets' wrath.

"Count yourself lucky that you're attached to someone we actually care about. We would be sending a body back to your pack in a body bag." Finn growled....
