Myles was a petty when he wanted to be. He and I both knew that he was wide awake as he pushed up against my morning wood. Every time our clothed bodies rubbed up against each other, I let out a moan. "Keep playing with me and I'm going to give you the real thing," I warned.
I trailed my hand down the side of his body. He always slept on his side. I wondered if it was a preference thing or something he trained his body to do autonomously. Rumors about the royals of the north included them being able to cast spells in their sleep were common. I never asked if they were true. Myles possessed control over mana in a manner so delicate that it was probable he could do such a thing.
When my hand reached his butt, he grabbed it and contorted his body until I was in an armbar. "I didn't give you permission to touch me there," he said. Seeing his face for the first time, I saw that he was still in character. He kept his eyes low, so he looked sleepy, but there was a mischievous glint present.
"Look at your little self acting all strong and shit. I'm happy to see you can defend yourself without magic," I kidded. I could have tossed him off with a minor amount of effort, but it was nice to feel his warmth. "I'm not little," he said as he released me.
"Sure" I said as I sat up. He stared me down so hard that he didn't notice when I ensnared him and yelped when I brought him to my lap, palming his butt and shaking. "Why are you blushing?" Our faces drew near. He had not pushed me away, so I took it as a sign to go forward with a kiss. As I began a slow invasion of his mouth, I stopped and nibbled at his bottom lip and he ground against me to show his pleasure. I held him close, and he moaned. He liked a little aggression and tenderness. I pulled away to look into his eyes.
"You want me to keep going?" I wiggled my eyebrows and treated his ass as a pair of bongos. He was getting thicker with all the eating out and the added strength training. I went in for another kiss and placed my hand behind his head so he could maintain control. He rested his hands on my chest just above my boxers. I worked my free hand inside the mini shorts, feeling the warmth of his body heat. I rubbed on his entrance in the same manner I would with a woman. He gasped while his hands entered my boxers and his cool hands grasped me.
Pulling away from the kiss once again. I pulled my hands out of his shorts and placed my finger to my lips, taking in the sweet flavor. "What kind of magic are you using?"
"Cleansing, minor scent transmutation, and a flavoring spell cooks use. It's a thing I do it unconsciously at this point. Are we going to keep going," His brows raised as he waited for an answer.
"Not right now baby boy, I want to go on a walk with you. Without the guards, for once. Put on something cute and comfortable. I think we need to have an actual conversation about how things are progressing in our relationship," I said.
"Okay," he said. I released him and he crawled off of me then made his way to the bathroom. His clothes became disheveled overnight, but everything else about him was perfect. I followed him into the bathroom where he was humming a song in English I was unfamiliar with. He was swaying around in the shower and the view delighted me. After cleaning himself, he went to the sink. I noticed the messages waiting on the mirror screen above. I walked over and checked to see what was going on.
The messages were from both of my sisters. They had questions about how I was settling into married life. They also wanted to know how Myles was. I sent quick answers and promised to be better at keeping in touch before brushing my teeth and shaving. Myles departed to the closet while I took a shower. By the time I finished, Myles walked to the bedroom in chinos and a loose shirt while. I hurried and put on a pair of jeans and a white shirt.
I had informed Alejandro and Mileta of the hike a few days ago. They weren't fans of the idea but went along with it after I promised to keep Myles safe. When I walked out of the bathroom Myles looked up. "You look nice."
"Thank you. You look cute," I said as before motioning for him to stand and follow me. "Where are we going?"
"I rented out the artificial mountain park so we can have alone time a few days ago." He nodded, "That's why you were on the phone?"
"Were you listening without making your presence known in English?" It was my tertiary language, so some phrases were hard to remember. Before the marriage, I rarely used the language.
"Eavesdropping, and you left the door open and my ears work," he said as outr guards met us at the door. They didn't speak as they rushed us to the mountain. They had been on edge since the bombing. I was sure there would be no issues as I stood up feeling a heat charm. It was a beautiful park meant to look like something you would see around the world. They kept it at a constant state of spring, meaning it was warm despite being winter. Trees were in bloom and citrus fruits had swelled on branches.
I grabbed my husband's hand and led him up the mountain at a steady pace until we reached the halfway point. Myles slowed as a silent plea for a break "Come on baby boy," I said as he rests his hands on his knees.
"I'm good. Why do you keep calling me that?" I chucked. "Get on my back before you have an asthma attack. I call you that because your skin is soft and you are the kindest, most innocent person I know so the name fits." After a minute of silence, he climbed onto my back. I stood with his added weight was no enormous deal, I had gone on ruck marches with more weight than him. I hiked to the top of the mountain while he hummed.
Once at the top I waved my hand over the ground and transformed air between trees into a hammock of iron fiber. When it was complete, I jumped on causing Myles to squeal. "What the hell, Bernardo," he yelled as he maneuvered off of me and laid to my side. I turned from my stomach to pull him close. "Sorry."
"It's gorgeous up here. You can see the entire city from this high up. That being said, I know you didn't bring me up here to see the views," Myles said. He reached over and began playing with my fingertips.
"I feel like we need a moment alone so we can have a true open dialogue about our expectations for this marriage. I know our parents placed their expectations on us, but they aren't here doing the hard work of keeping two countries from going to war. I want to know your desires from me," I asked him.
"I need to know that I can trust you. I forgive you for cheating on me in our bed and the day of the wedding. Though I forgive you I have trouble with the forgetting part. I have a fear of you finding a woman you want to be with more than me and I need for you to show me I have nothing to worry about. I don't want to be the only person working on this relationship." He let my hand fall to the cool metal fiber. I secured him in my arms. He was nervous, I could feel it and felt like shit because I was the cause.
"Myles. I didn't know you knew about the wedding day. It was wrong of me to do that on the day of our commitment. I want you to know that had nothing to do with you and was more about rebelling against my mother. I will spend the rest of my life trying to make it up to you. Nothing right now makes sense emotionally, but I promise to be honest with you about everything from here on out. I know I can come off like a warmongering caveman sometimes but I have a softer side and I want the opportunity to keep pulling back the layers to show you." I pulled him closer to me so that his legs were tangled with mine and I could feel him inhale.
"How about another oath? One of honesty?" He looked up at me.
"I don't know how to create blood seals. Do you know how to?" He shook his head no, making me even more confused.
"I want a regular promise that you keep out of the goodness of your own heart and not some obligation. Can you do that?" Turning so we were looking eye to eye. "Myles Porter Cider-Rouanet, I, Bernardo Cider-Rouanet, promise to be honest and loyal; to you from this day forward." We stayed silent and looked at one another for a while with stupid grins on our faces.
"When you say hoard how many are you thinking because I only agreed to a child," Myles questioned breaking the growing sexual tension. I burst out in rapturous laughter as I watched the concern on his face. He stiffened in my arms, waiting for an answer. "We'll just have to wait and see how things go, baby boy."
We stayed in the hammock until the sun began setting, talking about things we enjoyed and our childhood. When I thought it was about to get too dark, I turned the hammock into a platform for flight and got us down to the car where our guards waited. There was an air of lightness between us that had not been there before and I wanted to keep things this way forever.
