Xue Xue squinted his eyes and took a moment to confirm where Yang Liu’er was.

“Nervous?” She turned the question back on Yang Liu’er. “And what about you? Are you nervous?”

Yang Liu’er choked.

“Of course I’m nervous!” She seemed to realize that she spoke too loudly. She was silent for a moment before lowering her voice and said, “We are being kidnapped now. What should we do?”

Xue Xue did not answer.

“Hey! I’m asking you something!”

Yang Liu’er was unhappy after being ignored openly.

Xue Xue shot her a glance.

“You are so noisy.”

Yang Liuer’s eyes suddenly widened.

“And it’s so strange.”

Stifling the question that almost slipped out, Yang Liu’er’s body tensed momentarily.

“You were always indifferent and had a bad attitude when you met me before.” Xue Xue, who finally had a clear head, decided to add more fuel to the fire. “As you said, we have been kidnapped now. How come you are still in the mood to talk to me?”

“Yes, after Long Ao acquired the land, he put He Quan in charge of it. Apparently, they intended to use it as a storage location for smuggled goods.”

“Interesting…”

As the two conversed, the red dot that had been moving normally suddenly began to flicker, as if it could disappear at any moment.

“Boss?”

“It’s fine. Turn off the network. It’s normal not to have a signal there, but at least we know their destination.” Luo Chi said expressionlessly, “Let’s proceed according to the original plan.”

The gravel road jostled the car.
