The rain poured heavy, touching the ground becoming one.
Soona was looking outside the bus window; she was going on a trip by herself today to get her mind off everything.
She wasn't able to speak to anyone after what happened; she felt guilty.
Yena tried to stop her before she left but it was too late for Soona was already 10 minutes gone.
She wanted to be by herself for the day, so she went to a nearby city but far from her current one.
"No one knows me here; I don't have to worry about anything." She thinks to herself as the bus stopped.
"Oh this is my stop." She stood up with her bag in hand and stepped down the steps.
The rain stopped by the time she arrived, and the sun was creeping back from the clouds.
"I'll just enjoy today." She smiles as she walked off into the shopping center.
"Soona is gone?!" Kai exclaimed.
"She left on a bus this morning without saying a word!" Yena says taking her seat in the cold classroom.
"She ditched school today, that's unlike her. Is she okay?" Kai asked.
"I think he feels wrong about the party...I tried to talk to her but she needs to be on her own I guess."
"Oh, where's Soona?" Soobin asked Beomgyu as he walked inside.
"I haven't seen her, I don't think she's coming."
"Taehyun isn't here either." Yeonjun pointed out raising a eyebrow.
"Weird. Well I hope they're both fine.." Soobin trailed off; in reality, he profoundly thought why both of them were out of class.
So was the other two.
"Taehyun is out? Do you think he's with her?" Kai asked at the lunch table; he sat his metal tray down and sat next to Yena.
"I think so, I mean how are they both out today?" Yena says rolling her eyes.
"I thought she hated him." Beomgyu says shaking his head in disbelief.
"We don't know for certain they're together today; let's just hope they're not." Yeonjun tried to dismiss the conversation. He wanted to enjoy a nice lunch without Taehyun being mentioned every 2 seconds.
Soona walks inside the bookstore; it was quiet, as it should be, of course.
Everyone was reading or quietly chatting amongst theirselves with coffee in their hands.
She walks toward the Fantasy aisle and looks through the books; one spotted her eye.
"The angel who sinned."
'is this a sin?' She quietly laughed to herself.
She opened the paperback book, feeling along the sharp edges of the paper, and began reading the first sentence.
"An angel has one weakness, the hearts desires which they can't fight."
Her finger slides fast across the edge of the paper, causing it to slit her finger open. She winced and the book fell to the ground from her hand.
She looks at the blood on her finger and quickly rushed to the bathroom, to not cause a scene.
She holds her finger under the cold stream of water and watched the blood wash away down the drain.
'What was that?'
She dries her finger off and exits the bathroom returning to the aisle; she sees someone pick the book up, and to her surprise, it was Taehyun.
He smirked and shut the book placing it back on the shelf.
"You're lucky our blood is white." He says walking toward her.
"Aren't you angry with me? why are you even here?" She says in a low voice.
"It's better not to talk in this quiet place, let's go."
"She hasn't been online for 2 hours; she's really ignoring us." Yena says she saw Soona didn't read any of her messages and never answered her calls which she just finished making.
"She's busy maybe." Yeonjun suggested.
"How did you know i'm here?"
"Did you forget?" He says pointing at his watch.
"Ah yeah sorry."
"and No, i'm not angry. I was shocked but I understand you a little." He sighed.
"Really? Thanks."
"You should apologize to Beomgyu, not me."
"You're right, I was stupid, and just afraid." She looks at the ground too ashamed even to look him in the eyes.
"I'm sure he's not angry."
"Maybe, anyways how about we go to the arcade? I need to release stress." Soona smiles toward Taehyun.
"Taehyun hasn't been online either." Soobin says showing his screen.
"He's definitely with her, Gosh this guy." Yena shakes her head.
"He just can't give up." Soobin says crossing his arms.
"You're really bad at this, watch me." Taehyun takes the basketball and shoots it toward the hoop; it goes in without any problems.
"Wow, showing off aren't you? I'm not bad! my arm just hurts today." Soona fake rubs her arm as if in pain.
"Sure, look I bet I can get all points." He shoots another, which goes in.
"See, I just won us 400 tickets." He says holding the tickets in his hand.
"Wow thanks." Soona says sarcastically as she went over to the next game that spotted her eye.
"You think you can do it?" Taehyun teased.
"Psh' I can!" She puts the coins in the slot and grabbed the circular hoops.
She throws the hoops trying to make the land around the bottle's necks; Taehyun contained his laughter as she only made two out of 10.
"You're so bad, want me to try again?" Taehyun says, handing her the tickets for her to hold.
"Sure, go ahead." She says stepping aside.
He pushes the coins inside and grabbed the hoops, with ease he scored 7 out of 10.
"How?!" Soona says with her eyes widened.
"I have skills, that's why." He grabbed the tickets that came out.
"I'm impressed I admit." Soona nods.
"Yah, why're you waking alone?" Yeonjun says beside Beomgyu.
"Oh? I thought you had to stay behind to clean up?"
"Someone else took my spot, I told them I needed to walk you home."
"Did you actually say that? Am I a damsel in distress?" Beomgyu says looking at Yeonjun.
"You're my damsel in distress." Yeonjun winked, and Beomgyu shook his head while smiling.
"You're finally good at something, holding my tickets," Taehyun says, looking at the full arms of Soona. She was holding so many tickets they almost were falling out.
"Do you think we have enough? let's just go redeem them." She suggested.
"You have .....6,000 tickets."
"6,000?!" Soona's eyes light up.
"How about we split it, you can get anything up to 3,000 tickets and same for me." Taehyun says.
"Deal!" Soona walks off looking at every shelf filled with prizes. Her eyes spotted a Sloth plush and she knew she wanted it.
The ticket price read 1,500; luckily for her, she could get it.
She picks the plush up and looks at the other prizes.
'Okay, I have 1,500 left, should I get a matching one for Yena? Maybe a gift for Beomgyu as sorry?" She thinks looking around and spotted. plush Bear.
"Wait, Beomgyu looks like a bear; this would make a great sorry gift, sorry Yena." She grabbed the plush bear and read the tag.
'1,800'
'300 Over! Gosh!' She became frustrated in her head and turned to Taehyun.
"Hey, Can I get this please it's a sorry present to Beomgyu, but it's 1,800?"
"Hm, Since it's a gift sure. Go ahead." He smiled.
Soona walked up to the counter with Taehyun trailing behind to redeem their tickets.
"What! You have a sloth too?!" Soona looked in shock at Taehyun holding the same plush.
"Yeah why? Can't I have the same?" He says exchanging his tickets.
"Sure." She says, holding her tickets out as well; the cashier bagged the plushies and handed the bags back.
"Oh she's online now! Let's see if she reads my message!" Yena says next to Kai.
The two were at the nearby cafe along with Soobin.
"She replied!" Yena opens the message.
From: Soona
I'm heading home now sorry to worry you all.
"She's heading home, should we meet her?" Kai asked.
"Let's go."
"Thanks for today, I had a good time. See you tomorrow."
"Soona! Welcome back." The three greeted her as she came in view.
"Oh wow is this a party." She jokes upon seeing them.
"We should of, Where did you go today?" Kai asked.
"I went to the bookstore and the arcade. I even won this!" She holds out the sloth plush.
"It's so cute!" Yena says.
"Was Taehyun with you?" Soobin asked and Soona was caught off guard by his question.
"Yes, he appeared without warning." She laughed.
" that guy...anyways! Let's all go eat, how about BBQ?" Yena slapped her hands together.
"Let's invite the others." Soobin took his phone out to text Taehyun.
"Not taehyun!" Yena says slapping his hand.
"Why?"
"Just i'll invite Yeonjun and Beomgyu!" Yena texted them both.
"Okay sorry." Soobin laughed.
"So you guys, guess where Soona was today."
"Where?"
"She went to the nearby city and decided to go out and play instead of class." Yena joked.
"You went out to play without us?!" Beomgyu says.
"Sorry~ Ah actually I have something to say!"
"Ah go ahead then." Yeonjun says sitting upright.
"Beomgyu, I'm sorry about what I did the other night; I was extremely not thinking right. As a sorry I won tickets at a arcade and got you this gift." Soona handed the Bear to him.
"It's fine, I know you didn't do it on purpose. Thank you it's so cute!" He says hugging the bear.
"Ah cute~" Yeonjun's words slipped and he covered his mouth.
"Ah Yeonjun! We heard that." Yena laughed.
"Soona, Are you going to the sports day friday?" Kai asked.
"Oh that's friday? Sure. You all are going right?" Everyone nodded.
"We all might be on different teams, let's not hurt each other~" Yena sings out.
"I hope Taehyun is there; I'd love to win against him." Yeonjun says.
"You and me both." Yena says agreeing.
"What about the race? Who's doing it?" Soona asked.
"Oh yeah, who runs fastest here?"
"I can run pretty fast." Yeonjun raises a hand.
"Well see how fast before the sports day, We need a fast runner to beat the other team incase Taehyun is there." Kai says.
"He's fast?"
"Oh totally, Taehyun is really good at sports." Soobin says.
"Gosh this guy, he's good at arcade games and now sports?" Soona says.
"You played with Taehyun and not us?!" Beomgyu says shocked.
"Sorry! I didn't mean to!" She says holding her hands up.
"Next time! You better invite us!" Yeonjun says.
"I will." Soona says eating a bite of the BBQ.
"I'll take Beomgyu home, You all be safe!" Yeonjun says, saying goodbye to the rest.
"They're so cute." Yena holds a hand to her chest as they walked away holding hands.
"So we split from here, Soobin, Kai; thanks for worrying about me today. I appreciate your concerns." Soona says.
"We all were worried, Next time at-least tell us." Soobin pleaded.
"Sorry, Well I'll be going. Yena don't take too long." Soona pats her back.
"I'll walk you home, Kai and Yena; don't take too long." Soobin followed after Soona in the dark.
"I can walk you know, i'm not that weak." Soona joked.
"I'm sure, I also didn't want to be a third wheel of them." He says, looking back at them both; they were smiling at each other with hearty eyes.
"Those two, they should just date already." Soona says.
"I'm sure it's coming soon."
"Am I a princess or something?" Beomgyu says as Yeonjun walked holding his hand.
"Do you want to be?" Yeonjun joked.
"If I am, will you do my homework everyday as well? and my projects?." Beomgyu joked back.
"Maybe, want to find out?" Yeonjun says with a smile plastered across his face.
