The sun woke me up this morning, it was peeking through the gap in Blair's curtains and hitting my face. Gosh I had such a great sleep, although I don't actually remember a lot from last night, it's kind of a blur. I'll give myself a couple minutes, then it'll all come back to me.
The last thing I remember doing is putting on pyjamas, Blair got us matching ones.
I yawn as I wipe my eyes, "Morning"
"Morning", Indiah's besides me leaning against her hand
I frown, "Were you watching me sleep"
She pokes my nose, "I was tryna wake you up with this feather but you're such a heavy sleeper"
I look to the other side of the bed, Blair's not in bed but Destiny is and she's fast asleep. She'd sleep for decades if she could.
"I wish I was still asleep because I am incredibly hungover", I lie back against the pillow painfully
"I feel fine"
"I'm sure you do with your lucky self", I reach over for my phone before turning it on and checking the notifications
I have a lot of texts from our classmates, Instagram notifications, I've been tagged in peoples posts and stories. Also a text from mama.

Me: afternoon, alright
And surprisingly a text from Xavier
Zay: morning
Zay: ur probably hungover with ur alcoholic self
I smile a little before rolling my eyes playfully
Me: good morning to u too, I'm not an alcoholic ð
Zay: u hungover?
Me: yes
Zay: exactly
"That Xavier?", She says knowingly
I put my phone down, "Yeah"
"You admitted that you loved him last night" Indiah says amused
I widen my eyes, "I did what?"
"Right before you went to bed"
"Oh.....wow"
Why can't I remember saying that
"I can't believe I'm saying this but I think you should give the bastard another chance"
"I think so too"
"Just, a few things first"
I fully face her, "Go on lay it on me"
"When I invite you over, you're there for me. If he invites you over, you're there for him"
"Ok fair enough, what about if my family comes too"
"Me. And when you lose your virginity tell me, but minus the details obviously"
"Anything else?"
"Mmm, not right now but I'll think of something-
"Wait a minute, what's this" I move her hair out of the way before she can stop me
"Uhhh, nothing-
"No don't bullshit, it's a hickey" I scoff
"Wait till you hear", Blair says as she walks out of the bathroom with wet hair and her robe on
"Spill"
My best friend looks so guilty and this is the most silent shes ever been, Indiah clears her throat but doesn't reply and Blair leans on the wall.
"Caught her and Archie making out last night"
I raise my eyebrows but I'm not really that surprised because this was bound to happen at some point, "No way. For real?"
"Girl you shouldn't have slept, she was moaning and clinging onto him. Matter of fact she was enjoying him-
"Ok it wasn't that amazing-
"Didn't you tell me how wet you were?-
"Ughhh shushhhhh", She hides under the comforter and we laugh
She gets embarrassed easily
"Dee it's ok to admit that you like him", I say amused
"Exactly, there's nothing wrong with it"
"I'm good thanks", Her muffled voice replies
"I mean at least they kissed, that's progress"
"He was so happy after that it was so cute", Blair says in awe
"You guys wanna do something today?", She then asks
"I love you guys but I'm deflated and nauseous, home time for me after a nice hot shower", I reply
"Boringggg"
"I'm not the one who's still asleep though am I"
B nudges Destiny and she fusses before continuing to sleep.
"She'll be up in about an hour"
And I'll probably be gone in about an hour
"What's downstairs looking like", I murmur with my hand covering my head
"Not as bad as last time, CJ and Destiny helped me clean a little bit. I didn't want to leave too much mess for the maids"
"Did you have fun?"
"So much fun, thanks guys"
We smile, "You're welcome"
"Ok let's open your presents now cause I'm seeing a whole damn stack"
She giggles

The main reason I rushed to get home was because I'd have the house to myself, being home alone is the best thing ever. I immediately collapsed back onto the couch and indulged in some ice cream, (thankfully my feeling of nausea is gone) deciding that I'd deal with my bags later. I hate unpacking.
But it was just me myself and netflix for about two hours.
I look back with the spoon in my mouth as the front door opens, Aidan starts running into the house once he sees me. "Keilyn!"
"Hi bubs"
I never used to like that part of my name because I've always been so used to everyone calling me Amariah, but when Aidan first started talking he found that difficult to say so he either calls me sissy or Keilyn.
"Hi", He climbs onto the couch and sits right next to me
I kiss his head, "You ok?"
My little brother nods, "Uhuh"
The rest of my family come to the front room
"Hey"
"Hi"
"How was Blair's party", Dad asks me
"Fun but exhausting"
"She have a good time?"
"Yeah we all did"
"Did her parents even call to say happy birthday?", Mom asks
"Pfft, her dad texted but that's about it"
She sighs, "The poor child"
I yawn, "Jane called her though so it's alright. She's used to her parents by now"
Dad heads upstairs and Neveah sits next to me, "Was there boys? Kissing? Oh and what are you gonna do about XYZ"
"XYZ?", I say amused
"Yeah I just thought of it", She grins
I laugh, "I like it"
"Why are ya'll so mean?", Mom asks
"How?"
"You don't include Trinity in anything at all"
"She's judgy", Veah defends
"And uses stuff against you"
"You're sisters of course you'll do that to each other, what you think I don't judge mine all the time? I'm straight up, you know that"
"Mom you're just rude", Neveah snorts
"Well you know what they say, the truth hurts"
Aidan tugs her hand, "Sit next to me pleaseee"
"I'm gonna run a bath but I'll come later ok?"
"Ok"
She gives him a kiss before heading upstairs
"I told Indiah I love Xavier", I say once we're in the clear
"Finally, damn. I mean I knew this already but at least you're self aware"
"I've always been self aware, I knew it too. I guess I just needed to hear myself say it"
"Soooo you gonna date him?"
"Yeah", I finally say
She claps excitedly, "Yay omg finally. Are you gonna tell mama? Pleaseee tell her"
"Not yet, eventually"
"I have some words for Xavier but apart from that you get the green light from me"
"Pfft, like I need it"
"You most certainly do"
Aidan worms his way into the middle of us
"What is it with you and attention", Neveah says unimpressed
He smiles cutely and I tickle him, "You are so cute"
He giggles, "Thanks"
"Are you still my baby?"
Aidan shakes his head, "Mommy's baby"
"I raised you", I remind him
He shakes his head again and I roll my eyes, "So unappreciative"
"I'm hungry", Our sister says whilst patting her stomach
"You didn't eat at uncle J's?", I reply with my eyes on my phone
"Of course we did, aunt Debbie cooked some good food. I'm still hungry though-.... daddy!"
"What!"
"Can I order?!"
"No there's leftovers in the fridge!", He calls back
"Ugh"
I laugh and she gets up, heading to the kitchen
Me: I miss u
Zay: ur cute
I smile as I lie back against the couch
Me: wyd rn
Zay: nm, Malik came over
Me: hmm
Zay: baby chillð
Zay: pops is here too, we're on our best behaviour
he said baby, I'm folding very much right now
"What are you so silent for?"
I wave her off as I fight my smile, "Nothing nothing. Go back to whatever you're doing"
Me: I didn't say anything...
Zay: ik how u are, but I promise u it's all good
Me: I wanna see u
Zay: come see me then
Me: where?
Zay: basketball court, 9pm
"Keilyn"
"Yeah?"
My brother points at the tv pleadingly
I nod, "Yeah get the remote"
"Ok", He runs over to it before bringing it back
"You wanna watch spider-man?"
"Yes please"
Neveah comes back with a whole damn plate of food, getting comfortable on the couch as she eats.
"I'm seeing my man"
"When?"
"In like, an hour"
"Nice"

"I'm going to the store, do you want anything?"
"You're going now?", Mom says confused
"Yeah", I reply simply
She frowns
"Sooo you want something or no?"
"No I'm good thanks", She's looking at me suspiciously but I ignore it
"Mmk"
The basketball courts a short walk from my place but a little further from Indiah's house so I'm assuming that Xavi's driving, he texted me to say that he left. Honestly I'm just glad my hangovers sort of gone, my head hurts just a tiny bit but it's alright.
When I got to the court I saw him seated on the nearby bench on his phone, his back was facing me. I rest my chin on his shoulder whilst covering his eyes, "Guess who"
"My redhead"
"I'll take it"
I sit next to him and he puts his arm around me, "Damn you look exhausted"
"Gee thanks"
He kisses the side of my head, "Still pretty though"
I hug his torso, "I missed you" I murmur
"I missed you too mama"
"How is everybody"
"Yeah not bad"
"Good"
"I had time to think", I then say
"And?"
I lift up my head, "I suppose having you back doesn't sound too bad"
Xavier grins, "Yeah?"
"Mhm", I hold his face before kissing him softly and he obliges eagerly, slipping his tongue into my mouth
He sits me on his lap, giving my neck a kiss. "I won't let you down"
"You better not", I murmur
He continues giving me kisses, "I won't. I promise"
"I forgot to ask, how was the party?"
"It was so fun, but I was way too hungover"
"I don't know how you drink all the time"
Xavier doesn't really drink like that, to be honest I think it's a guy thing. My dad doesn't really drink like that either unless it's whiskey, that's the only thing he'll have.
"It's gross, but you gotta shot it fast. Drink with me one time-
"Mmm no. When you're with me we getting high, none of that vodka shit"
"You're such a bad influence", I say amused
"Excuse me I'm not the one who got you into smoking"
I mean he's not necessarily wrong, he'd never offer me a blunt or try and get me into it. I was actually the one who asked him for a lighter this one time and he was so surprised, tried yapping on about how I shouldn't have started. I told him to shut up lol.
"Touché"
I stroke his chin, "Theres one thing I need to tell you actually"
"What"
"Don't get mad, just listen"
He frowns, "What'd you do..."
"I did kiss a guy yesterday, and I'm telling you cause I don't want you hearing it from somebody else"
He stills a little
"It was a game of seven minutes in heaven, there was no touching. Just a three second kiss"
"Hmmm, I guess we're even now-
"No don't be mad at me, it was three seconds and I hate him very much"
Zay scrunches his face, "Was there tongue?"
I snort, "No"
"Ight"
I hug his neck "Don't be sassy, you're mine now"
"I'm not sassy"
"Uhuh sure. Are we telling our parents or no?"
"What so your dad can kill me?"
I scoff with amusement, "He won't kill you"
"He screws his face when someone even associates your name with a boy"
"Yeah but he wouldn't do that with you, he knows you. And besides he's only paranoid cause he doesn't want me to have a teenage pregnancy"
His hand skims over my ass, "I may not get you pregnant but I can sure try"
I smile whilst rolling my eyes playfully, "You're so dirty"
"I'm just saying"
I missed this so much, I missed him holding me, kissing me and touching me. And it especially feels like a weight lifted off my shoulder now that Indiah is aware of what's going on, I always used to hate hiding it from her.
"Do you think you'd ever wear the ring again?"
Uh oh....
I tuck a hair behind my ear "Yeah, definitely"
Thankfully my phone rings before we can even continue our conversation about the ring, once seeing who's calling I frown a little before answering.
"Hey, you ok?"
Now me and my friends are all close don't get me wrong, but out of the group I'd say I'm the least close with Destiny.
"Nooo, Blair's pissing me off"
"See now why do I gotta get involved", I complain
"You can just listen", She defends
"Wai-
"We're supposed to go to the mall tomorrow but she cancelled cause she's going out with CJ, then we got into an argument"
Xavier snorts and I tut at him
"You with someone?", She asks
"Yeah sorry just Neveah"
"Oh ok"
"D did you actually plan to go to the mall or did you just assume that Blair had no plans"
"Well-...why does that matter"
I roll my eyes, "You know why"
"Ok fine we didn't plan, but we both know she spends way too much time with him"
"They're cute. Look we'll talk about it at Indi's after school, with Blair"
"But that's two days away"
"Yeah well hopefully you can make up before then"
"Fine. Think her brothers will be home?"
Xavier raises a confused eyebrow whereas I scrunch my face, "Uhhh probably. Not Zion though"
"Duh, he's too old for me. Xavier on the other hand-
"You know what I think Malik matches your personality"
Xavier starts laughing silently and I hit him, I know he's enjoying every moment of my possessiveness but I tell you that I am not.
"He's way older, also he's too gangster and irritating for me. Don't he walk around with a gun?"
Ok now my man's annoyed, he was about to say something but I covered his mouth quickly.
"Alright let's just stop talking about her brothers"
"Mmk. I'll see you tomorrow cause my mamas calling me"
"Bye", The call cuts and I finally let go of his mouth
"No personality in sight" He says with disgust
"She's a little unfiltered but nice most of the time"
"Ion like her"
"You know she really thinks that you're cute, every other day she's blabbing about you and for someone as confident as Destiny I've not seen you two exchange any words"
"Yeah well I'll happily tell her my opinion"
I make a yikes face "Maybe don't do that, you can be pretty mean"
"No I'm not"
"You used to call me no titty Ree Ree"
"I was fourteen", He replies defensively
"It was mean", I pout
"Did I make you cry?"
"No but it offended me very much"
I was only thirteen so I hadn't developed much, but one day I got older and then bam. I was hit with everything at fourteen years old, it's a blessing really although having an E cup at this age is annoying sometimes.
He kisses my face, "My bad. But I mean they're big now"
"I actually would've been fine with a flat chest and an ass"
"I'm fine either way"
My phone buzzes

"Damn is that how long its been?", I say surprised
He reads over my shoulder, "Tell her you're on your way back"

"Alright come on I'll drop you home"
"They're gonna ground me again"
"You want me to talk to her?"
"No it's fine I'll just lie"

"What? You always got an attitude" He laughs
"I don't"
"You do"
I wave him off, "Shush"
He keeps his arm around me as we leave the basketball court and I smile to myself whilst holding onto that arm.
I can't even remember the last time I was in his car, but it's been a long while. I had him park around the block so my parents wouldn't see us.
"I don't want you to get in trouble"
"I already am", I murmur as I lie against him
I enjoy our comfortable silence, me holding his hand as I laid against him. I missed him so much.
Xavier strokes my skin softly, "What time do you finish tomorrow?"
"Five, I have cheer practise"
"And then?"
"Then I'm going to dads firm"
"Alright, I'll see you Tuesday then"
I lift up my head, "You're going to school though right"
"If I feel like it"
I tut, "Zay"
"That shits too long, my attention spans all over the place you know that"
He used to go to our school but got kicked out for smoking weed in the bathroom so now uncle Darnel and aunt Latoya sent him to a different one which he barely attends.
"Ok well just make an effort, please?"
"I'll go tomorrow if it makes you happy"
I roll my eyes, "Fine I'll take it"
