CHAPTER 14: HAPPY

Minho was walking to Jisung's room where he had gone to to speak on the phone, feeling extremely anxious. He was really gonna do this.
Just as he was about to knock on the door, at the same time Jisung opened it "Oh, Min, hi. Did you need something?" he questioned and watched Minho being hesitant at first but soon replied "Uhm. Can I talk to you about something? Privately?" he mumbled and Jisung smiled "Of course! Come in"
Minho stepped into the room and heard Jisung close the door. They both took a seat on the bed, Jisung sitting next to Minho "Do you want me to hold you during that?" he received a light nod and he giggled, pulling Minho closer to his own body by wrapping his hands around his waist and resting his chin on Minho's shoulder "Take your time, okay?"
Minho nodded and placed his hands over Jisung's while thinking of how to even start. He had no idea, he had never admit his feelings to anyone before so how was he supposed to know what to say? Times like this he really wanted to be like Felix; straightforward.
"There's something I want to tell you" he kept his eyes on the wooden floor and Jisung hummed to show he was listening "I've been told only something good will happen after saying it but I'm still a bit scared" that got Jisung worried about it "Is it something bad?"
Minho shook his head and glanced at Jisung just for a second "No. No, it's not bad" he heard the taller sigh in relief as he nodded "Perfect then. What is it?"
"It's uhm.." Minho had taken one of Jisung's hands and started to play with his long fingers to calm himself down. But the other's body heat and him holding Minho so close was already comforting him and it was enough "I-It's uh-" he stuttered, having difficulty in actually saying it. In his mind he had already confessed but saying it outloud was much harder.
Han furrowed his brows and reached up to cup Minho's cheeks gently with his hands as he turned his head to face him "Take a deep breath and like I said take your time. I can wait" Minho felt his face getting hot after Jisung's action but he shook his head "N-No, I wanna tell you now"
He took a deep breath and averted his eyes but he could still feel Jisung's eyes on him. It was now or never, "I like you" he stated and lowered his head in an attempt to hide somehow "As in more than a friend.." his ears had fallen flat down as he waited for Jisung's response.
His lips started to tremble when a few seconds had passed but still no answer from Jisung.
While Minho was thinking Chan and Hyunjin must have lied to him after all, Jisung was mentally screaming. Minho liked him too? And he was the one who confessed first even though he's said himself he's very shy? Damn he really was a coward.
He was taken out of his thoughts when he felt something wet hit his hands which were still holding Minho's face. His eyes widened when he saw small tears falling from Minho's now reddish eyes "No, no, no, baby don't cry please" he panicked slightly and wiped away the tears "Why are you crying?" his voice was soft as usual while talking to him.
Minho sniffled and bit the inside of his cheek lightly "Because you don't like me back and I shouldn't have said that"
Jisung chuckled and shook his head "Who said I don't like you back, silly?" Minho sniffled again and slowly looked up, meeting Jisung's eyes "You do?" the other nodded and replied with a 'mhm' "But you didn't say anything?"
Now Jisung got why he started to cry "Oh I was just shocked to hear that. It took me a bit to process it, I'm sorry if I made you think otherwise, Min. But if you want a clear response then you can have it" he leaned in and kissed Minho's forehead "I like you too. I've been feeling this way for a while now but I was too scared to admit it to myself" he wiped the remaining tears on Minho's cheeks with his thumb "But my friends helped me understand that love is love. And you can't control your feelings for someone if your heart desires them"
Minho had stopped crying after hearing what Jisung had said while Jisung had reached up to pet his head "Would you like to try?" Jisung asked to which Minho responded "Yeah" he smiled before wrapping his arms around Jisung, pulling him into a hug.
The other of course hugged back and rubbed Minho's back "Did that make you happy?" he laughed at Minho's muffled question since half of his face was buried in Jisung's shoulder "It made me the happiest"
The hug lasted for a few moments before they pulled away, "Why don't we go out now? I'm sure the others must be waiting for us"
"Okay"
They stood up and Jisung held his hand out, Minho immediately intertwining their fingers together as they walked out of the room. When they got to the living room, they saw the couple laughing while Changbin was on the floor doing push ups with Felix on his back "Hyung!" the blond called out when he saw his brother while having a big smile on his face "Can I stay with Changbin for a while??"
Minho scrunched his nose at the random question as he and Jisung sat down on the couch, Minho being next to the couple. Chan and Hyunjin looked at him and curiously asked "So how did it go??"
The hybrid smiled at them and showed them their connected hands,
"It went well"
