Chapter 7: chapter 7

Isabella POV:-I reached Engi's school on time. Yes, they left me. The boss said something about me being useless. Which was hell rude thing to say. When you are in the wrong yourself.His men dropped me. I was feeling relieved, scared and so many other things, all together. I ran to Engi's school office to pick up her. She was drawing patiently. Her teacher told me never to come late again and with that I took Engi with me and went home. The second we  entered into our house I took her in my arms and sat on the couch.  I burst into tears. I can't believe I'm still alive after what happened today. It's like everything is sinking in now. I got kidnapped. What would've happened to me and what would have happened to my daughter after me not being here. We have no one to rely on. I controlled myself, however. Engi keep on asking me if I'm in pain or did anyone scolded me at work or did I fought with my friend. She asked me everything she could think with her small brain. I chuckled at her innocent questions. I said "None of these happened. I'm just sorry that I came late to pick you up. You must be worried.""No Mumma, my teacher was there and I know you were at your work, you told me many times that sometimes you can get late due to some urgent work, so if you ever got late, I should never go home with anyone else, if only, you personally tell me to go with that person. So I understood it is one of that reason." She said quietly."Oh, my darling is so responsible. Thank you for always being this cute. I will be on time from now on." I promised.That night I had a nightmare. Like I got kidnapped again, but it was a little different from the reality. In this dream I was kidnapped by someone else and can you guess who rescued me from there. It was Xavier. I mean, how can that be possible. He was the one who kidnapped me.The morning was as usual but as we come out of our house I felt like someone is following us. Without saying anything I speed up and Engi was almost running. She asked me 'why we are running?' I didn't have the time to explain her. I just said run. I was looking at the phone, thinking who to call. As a normal person should do, I called police. I didn't get the chance to answer the phone because someone pulled Evangeline from my hand. "Please leave her. What do you want? Are you Xavier's men. Why is he doing this? He said I can go then why are you here again?" I hold Engi's one arm. She was crying hard. I saw my phone was on maybe the emergency help pick up my call. I shouted the area, we are in, so that if anyone is listening from the other side can come for us. Before I could say anything else one of the men hit something very hard on my head. The liquid coming out of my head, I can feel it. Everything turned black.*****************Hello guys.I know it's a very short chapter but I'm updating the next one today by the evening.
