Amazing, even more bonus Stats! I’ll need those because my Stat Growth per Level is quite low. However, it should increase as I get higher-ranked classes in the future. Hopefully. Though, unlike my brother, I started with rather terrible growth.

“Alright, we’ll go buy some groceries, everyone.” My brother said.

“Do you want something from it?” Henrietta wondered.

After washing the dishes, my brother and Henrietta decided to go out for now. They said they would go buy the groceries, though I’m sure they’ll go do some lovey-dovey stuff too.

“Huh? Why are you going to buy groceries? We can just pay for the stuff to come to the house.” Kevin sighed. “Also, can’t we go back home, big sis?”

“I wanted to spend the rest of the day here before going back home, Kevin,” Henrietta said. “You’re already grown up, so if you want to, you can go back home on your own. Be careful though.”

“Ugh…” Kevin sighed. “Nah, I’ll wait for you.” Although he didn’t show it, he was rather nervous that something dangerous might happen. After all, a lot of crazy things have been happening one after another.

“I want pudding then,” I said. “Ah, what do you guys want?”

“I-I don’t know…” Annabelle sighed. “I usually eat instant noodles or... monster meat.”

“Monster meat?” Henrietta was shaken. “Alright, we’ll buy a lot of ingredients and make this girl a proper meal... Gosh, I know her brother’s a monster, but seriously, instant noodles?”

“I would like some ice cream... If it isn’t asking much.", Dan Baihe said it timidly.

“Sure.” My brother nodded. “Let’s go then. Anna, I’ll leave the house for you. Fenrir, keep a close eye on them, kids.”

“We’re not kids! All of us are already over 16.” I sighed. “Actually, won’t I soon become 17 years old?”

“Hahaha…” My brother only laughed, waving his hand while walking away.

Ugh, this guy’s still the same overprotective brother as always.

At the very least, he got Henrietta to distract him a bit more.

“Alright! Do you guys want to see something cool?” I smiled, quickly inviting them to my room. “Open Inventory…”

“Something cool?” Kevin wondered, crossing his arms. “What is this egg? This is the cool thing? It's just an ostrich egg, isn’t it?”

“Can’t you let me finish what I was going to say?!” I bonked his head.

“Ouch!” Kevin cried. “Why are you hitting me now?!”

“Anyways! Here, this is a Mythic Beast Egg!” I smiled, showing it off to everyone.

“Ooooh! Mythic… beast egg?” Dan Baihe raised an eye. “W-Where did you get that?”

“Is it a drop from a monster?” Annabelle asked innocently.

“Something like that!” I nodded. “It’s actually a reward from a Constellation, when I defeated Bael, I got a bunch of items. One of them is the thing that replaced my heart at that moment. And another is this! A special pet egg. Something crazy might come out of it! …But actually, no matter how much I’ve tried, it doesn’t hatch.”

“Eh? It won’t?” Dan Baihe wondered. "Maybe it needs some sort of stimulus? Maybe Mana? Let me have a hand on it!” The dangerous Frost Witch extended her delicate hands towards my precious egg.

“W-Wait!” I quickly moved the egg out of her way. “Not so fast! What if it ends up becoming another ice-type monster with your Mana? I wouldn’t really want that…”

“O-Oh.. Snow is enough, I guess?” Dan Baihe wondered.

“Woof!” Snow barked, waging his tail playfully.

“M-Maybe I can have a hand of it! It could become a spider… poison monster maybe?” Annabelle was excited.

“Kyuh?” Violet appeared right behind her.

“A-Ah, right, we’ve got Violet already…” Annabelle sighed.

“Yeah… So for now, let’s try using something different. Recently, I got some other things from my recent Awakening…” I said, taking out a white feather. “Let’s try this one first and-”

FLASH!

Suddenly, the egg started to glow right away once the feather grew closer to it! Don’t tell me this beast is some sort of angelic being. Maybe this is the catalyst it needs to hatch?

“Let’s see…” I rubbed the feather on the egg while it rested over my bed.

The effects were almost instantaneous; the feather slowly dissipated into particles of light, merging with the egg, which suddenly gained several beautiful gold patterns resembling stars, the sun, and clouds.

The eggshell quickly started to shatter as pieces began to fall off. And from within, rays of bright, divine light surged!

FLAAASH!

The entire egg exploded into pieces! The pieces flew all over the place, covering my entire room. Ugh! What a mess! This little guy better be worth it!

“Ugh, so bright! I can’t even look at it!” Kevin complained.

“M-My eyes…” Dan Baihe covered her face.

“Eep!” Annabelle didn’t seem to like bright lights either.

I watched straight into the light; it seemed to not really blind my eyes at all. And as it slowly dissipated, I noticed the silhouette of a small creature.

It was covered in fluffy white and gold fur, and it had big, rabbit-like ears that ended on white feathers resembling wings.

The creature’s appearance could be described as a mix between a white rabbit and a small white fox, but it was really cute!

“Kyuuh, Kiiyuu…” It began sniffing around, looking at us with its adorable, golden eyes.

“Oh my gosh, it’s so cuteeeee!” Dan Baihe was already dying.

“S-So fluffy…” Annabelle blushed a bit.

“Eh? Is it a rabbit or a dog?” Kevin wondered, raising an eyebrow.

It quickly started flying around, looking in my room, and then going back to me, glancing directly into my eyes.

“Kyuuh!”

And then it hit me with its fox-like tail in the face!

SLAP!

“H-Hey! What was that for?!”

“Kiyuuaaargh!”

Suddenly, it started rabidly biting my nose!

What in the world is wrong with this creature?!

“Cut it out!” I grabbed it again, and it started trying to hurt my hands with its tiny claws, but it couldn’t even hurt me anyway. “Hey, let’s just become friends, alright? Please, let’s not fight!”

“K-Kiyuah?!”

FLAAASH!

An aura of charm was exuding from my body.

“KYUWAH?! Kyuuuh!” It quickly started panicking, but then gave up, and lowered its head.

[Description]: A Mythic Beast that originally inhabited the Celestial Realm’s Floating Islands. It can easily fly at high speeds using its ear-wings, and it can conjure unique spiritual miracle magic for defense, healing, and even attack. It is physically weak but incredibly dangerous due to its high magical power. Do not be fooled by its adorable appearance!

Oh sweet! She’s a supporter and healer?! And with those high MP and INT Stats, she’s bound to be really useful! If we have Shiro around, I won’t even need to worry too much about healing and buffs unless we’re fighting a really dangerous enemy.

And she also has magic-reflecting fur? She could even become our magic shield. Though I don’t think that makes her immune to magic, it probably only reflects a bit, so I don’t want to abuse her powers if it would hurt her too much.

Nonetheless, she’s highly welcomed into the team! We desperately needed a healer and supporter. We’re just attackers here; after all, a tank is also what we’re missing.

Also, her high LUC Stat might be rather good for me; it could offset some of my terrible luck by having her around.

“Glad to have you aboard, Shiro!” I said happily. “We’ll make sure to use your abilities well!”

“Kiwaahh…” Shiro sighed, rather defeatedly.

“C-Come on, cheer up. What do you want to eat?” I wondered.

“Let me feed her!” Annabelle asked me. “Please!”

“M-Me first!” Said Dan Baihe.

“C-Can I pet her a bit?” Kevin asked.

It seems everyone ended up falling for her adorableness. She doesn’t have a 5000 Charm Stat for anything; after all, she conquered the hearts of everybody faster than I imagined.

“Hahaha, sure. Shiro, be nice to them, okay?”

“Kiwaah…” Shiro sighed.

In the end, my friends loved her and constantly played with her. They feed her fruits, which seems to be her preferred food; she doesn’t eat meat. Violet and Snow weren’t completely ignored, as all three of them eventually got along. Though Violet dislikes Shiro for being a bit too dominant, he really doesn’t want to lose the race. Snow is just lax and slightly dumb, maybe because of his low INT stat.

Like that, the day went by, and my brother and Henrietta came back from the grocery store after a little while. I used this free time to also talk with my friends about what had happened and to reassure Annabelle that everything was alright; she was still a bit nervous.

“After we’re done having lunch, we need to go to the Hunters Association Building. You guys too.” My brother said.

“Eh? Why?” I wondered.

“You’re really asking why?” My brother sighed. “Everybody is interested in you guys; you pretty much saved the city! Also, it will work as a meeting with the other Guild Masters of the other Hunter Guilds, so we can discuss our next plans… on raiding that big castle over there.”  My brother’s eyes glowed slightly redder.

“So that’s what it is.” I nodded. “Alright.”

It seems like I’ll be meeting the city’s most famous hunters, and probably a few from other cities in the country too, as I’ve heard they recently arrived.

It will be a meeting of Elites; I better prepare myself.
