21.Reception

The intense light from the left side made me face right and I slept in a comfortable position.

Who dares to wake me up early in the morning? I am tired and...Oh! Choco don't forgot that now you aren't in your house, it's the jerk place.

I then slowly opened my eyes and met with the deep ocean blue eyes which were staring at me intensely. I abruptly get up and sat on my legs, gathering my hair into a bun.

His gaze slowly moves to my chest then to my legs. My legs and chest? Oh! Shoot. I haven't worn a bra and the shirt is not enough to cover me.

I then instantly pulled the sheets to my chest and saw him smirking at me. He was wearing sweats and a t-shirt and looking quite handsome.

Choco, who looks handsome in the morning attire. You may say he look hot and dashing. My subconscious mind mocks me.

Shaking my head, I glare at the person in front of me who was folding his hands and looking at me dreamily.

"What are you doing here? Haven't you seen someone sleeping? You pervert." I utter with utmost disgust.

"If someone looks so beautiful while sleeping then everyone wouldn't like to miss the view." I heard him say but acted like I didn't hear as to avoid further argument.

"I am here you tell me that grandpa is waiting for us and we are gonna be late. So, wake up from your sweet dream and get ready. I will see you downstairs in 20 minutes. Your clothes are in there." He pointed towards the sofa on the other side of the room.

"Okay. But 20 minutes seems long, don't you think?" I mocked him but inwardly I just wanted to kill him.

"Really love. Then let's make it 15. Your time starts now." He voices out and before I could get to him, he sprung outside.

This jerk needs to have some special medicine from me but not now I need to get ready in only ...

"11 minutes." The door opened and Shaub's head pops out with a huge smile plastered on his face.

"You ass-" I hastily get up nearly landing on my butt.

"We will have breakfast at the mansion." He said while laughing and closed the door before I could get there.

Get your mind straight and hurry up.

I then hurriedly sprinted towards the bathroom and took the shortest shower and get dressed in a navy blue shirt and denim.

When I look at the mobile, I have only one minute to make my hair. So, I hurriedly dry my hair and let it fall.

And after taking the mobile and putting on the shoes I went downstairs. I descended down the stairs and saw Shaub talking on the mobile.

Then his gaze met mine and we intensely look at each other eyes. When I reached the last step and I averted my gaze towards my shoes. And I walked near him and he gestured me to follow him.

We then sat on the black SUV and headed towards his mansion. He was still busy in his call and I see the message from Bell to tell her everything so I replied okay. Then my mobile rang and it's a call from the hospital.

"Hello, Dr.Shalifa. Congratulations on your wedding." A sweet and soft voice came from the other side.

"Hello, Mrs.Wilson. Thank you. And I'm sorry as I couldn't inform you earlier." I said sounding apologetic.

"Oh! That's not the problem. Mr.Reghen has already informed us and you have a week's leave. So, enjoy your marriage life and best wishes." There was a hint of happiness in her voice.

"Thank you Mrs.Willson. Then I will end the call." I then ended the call and locked my mobile.

One week left to enjoy, what a joke?

I laughed inwardly, call me insane or what but it made me laugh. Then the car came to the halt and Shaub opened my door like a gentleman.

What a great actor he is?

I didn't want to take his hand but seeing his pissed look, I have a fake smile and hold his hand. It was not the first time I have been here so I don't need to admire the mansion and its glorious surrounding. So, we walked to the living room hand in hand like a lover.

Nicho and Nessy were already waiting for us. And when they saw us they smile heartily and congratulate us. Nessy gave us a bone crashing hug and the face of Shaub was worth watching. Then Nessy takes us to have breakfast and we all sat in the dining room to have our food.

Nicho sat on the head chair with Nessy at the side and Shaub and I sat side by side. We were eating in silence when Nicho asked something which makes me choke on the juice.

"It's good to see you married but I feel bad when you two decided alone. Shaub! Have you made her pregnant? So, you guys-" Before he could say further, I was chock on the food I was currently eating.

Thankfully, Shaub passed the glass of water and I feel good after drinking it. "No. Old man. We married because we cannot live without each other. Right, love?" Shaub asked giving a heart warming smile to me.

I was stupefied to say a word and both old people were waiting for my reply but I just kept quiet. Then Shaub nudges me slightly to answer and I just nodded my head bowing my head to avoid meeting their expectance gaze.

"Have you heard dad? Does Shaub call her love? How adorable are they?" Nessy coo in happiness and Nicho gave us a bright smile. Then a blush crept on my face and I hide it by drinking the water.

After breakfast, Nicho announced that tonight we will have a party. A reception of our wedding and Shaub couldn't deny it. So, I just gave a small smile and Nessy told me that she has a lot to prepare and had to go shopping.

Then I remembered that I have to meet Bell so I told Nicho that I wouldn't be here for lunch and he told me to go. At the same time, my luggage arrived from my dads' house and I went to my room to get ready.

The two guys put the boxes down and the maid told me to leave it as she would make it for me so I change my dress and headed downstairs. While I was walking towards the front door, Shaub came into a view and asked me where I was going?

"Bell, wants to meet me so I will come before party." I said messaging Bell that I will be there in 15 minutes.

"Take the car. Max will escort you there." He said calling Max.

"No, I will take the cab." I retorted but his deadly glare made me take the car and I also recalled about those crazy paparazzi.

"Okay." I huffed and get inside the car.

I gave the address to Max who was driving the car and he drove me to Derek's cafe, our usual hangout place which is near the Nigjel hospital. Then the car came to a halt after half an hour and I get off entering inside the cafe.

"Who are you? Do I know you miss?" Bell said when I sat down on the chair.

"Bell, don't act angry? You know I love you a lot, my Bell." I added extra butter in my tone and show my best puppy eyes.

"Okay. But for this time only I will let you go but now spill. You are not expecting, right? I don't want to be a young aunt." She said ordering our special coffee.

"Bell.." I groan in frustration and then she gestured me to continue.

So, I sat down comfortably and told her everything that had happened in these months. She listened attentively and laughed when I came to the end.

"So, choco got married to her jerk." She muttered taking a sip from her coffee.

"Not my jerk and it's an unfortunate marriage. Hope, you understand." I said moving the straw in the coffee.

"Perfectly. And Did Luim called you?" She arched a brow at me.

"No. Oh! Bell. Luim had proposed me to be his girl and now-" She finished up the sentence for me.

"You're Mrs.Shalifa Shaub Reghen. It's sound dramatic though." She teased me and we talked about other things as how Dr.Freida reacted when she found out about my marriage with Shaub.

Time flies by while talking with my best friend and I left the cafe at 4 to reach on time. The driver, Max too was in the cafe having his drink but I feel like he was spying on me. But I dismissed that thought and arrived at the mansion at the perfect time.

The mansion was decorated with lights and flowers which make it looks more enchanting and beautiful. Then I was attacked by the makeup artist as soon as I entered my room and I was turned into a gorgeous woman. The dress bought was beyond perfect and that makes me look prettier.

The dress chooser must have great taste and knows me well.

Then Shaub entered the room wearing a black tuxedo with his Rolex watch and he was looking breath-taking. He slowly advanced towards me and our close proximity made me feel strange. He removed a strand of my hair and tugged it behind my ear. Then he whispered gazing at my eyes.

"You look phenomenal." His voice was raspy and it made a strange sensation to build upon my body. And fortunately, someone knocked on the door telling us to head downstairs and we descended down the stairs while holding each other hands.

"Welcome, the star couple of the evening. Mr and Mrs Reghen. Please give a huge round of applause." The host said and everyone cheers for us.

Friends, relatives, business associates, and media were too invited and my family and friends were too invited. I introduced my family to Nicho and old people were happy to meet each other and share greetings. Then Shaub introduced me to his business associates and their wives were drooling and flirting with Shaub openly.

But he seemed to enjoy their company so I excuse myself to hang out with my friends. There was a little interaction with media and many questions were asked but Shaub answered that he didn't want to discuss about his personal life much and ended it with thanks. I too smiled a lot and had to interact with uncountable people. Then the music began while I was having a drink and someone asked me for the dance.

"Will you dance with this gentleman?" A deep voice said and it's none other than Luim.

How can I forget about the lover boy?

"Umm..Okay." I agreed as I didn't want him to be hurt and he takes me to the dance floor where other couples were dancing.

There my eyes met Shaub and his look told me that he isn't pleased to see me with Luim. Luim placed my hand on his shoulder and his hand on my waist, which made Shaub put more pressure on the wine glass. When the lady at the side asked him if he was okay then he almost dragged her to the dance floor.

After dancing with Luim, our partners get change and I ended up with my so called husband. We sway along with the music but our moves were showing different things. All the couples left us to dance and the dance was something new which I haven't done before. And like that the party ended and we greeted the guest goodbye. I was relieved that I could finally have some rest when Nicho drops another bomb.

"Sleep well, children. Tomorrow, you have to travel for your honeymoon. It's my wedding gift and I want to see my grandchildren soon." He had a wide smile on his face.

What's with everyone wish?

I think my life has been a roller coaster. Shaub was speechless and he couldn't say no which make me more tired. I then sighed in frustration and took a deep breath to relax myself.

Better sleep early, don't know what this honeymoon will be like?
