He went on describe his efforts to support aspiring artists in honing their skills and creating trade around artwork to make art a profession for more people to make a living from. Prince Kin also constructed and help support many performance venues in various large cities in the empire. I guess even Prince Kin has found a way to contribute to the development of the empire.
I wasnât sure if it was the pressure of spending time with Prince Kin or todayâs hot weather, but I was starting to feel dizzy and I felt a slight headache. My mind struggled to keep up with the things that Prince Kin was talking so animatedly about.
âThatâs pretty amazing. I didnât know that so much effort went into artâ¦â I complimented honesty. In a different way to Ren, Prince Kin was helping people in his own way by doing things that he likes.
âYou have a very beautiful face and figure, Iâm sure youâll make a good actress on stageâ¦â Prince Kin said as he laughed a little.
âI donât think so but Iâm thankful for your kind complimentsâ¦â I replied with a polite smile.
I tried to keep my answers vague as I felt the nagging headache getting worst and worst. Prince Kin continued speaking, oblivious to my discomfort. I should probably head back soon to get some rest. The hot weather seemed to be getting to me and suddenly my clothes felt too thick and heavy on my skin.
âSoâ¦how are things going with my brother?â Prince Kin asked, suddenly changing the subject of the conversation.
âWith the crown prince? Ummâ¦I think our relationship is progressing normally as to be expected,â I replied, suddenly on guard.
âHmmâ¦I see. I have to say Iâve never seen Ren so interested in a woman beforeâ¦â Prince Kin said as he rubbed his chin as if thinking of something.
âWhat do you mean?â I asked, a little curious. I did want to know more about Ren.
âRen has little to no interest in women in general and it has never happened that heâs spent time with one for so long,â Prince Ken said with a small laugh.
I wouldnât call the time Iâve spent with Ren âso longâ, so I wondered how short his other relationships wereâ¦
âI seeâ¦â I mumbled.
âWhich makes me wonderâ¦what is it about you that is so specialâ¦â Prince Kin said as his eyes stared at me as if appraising my worth.
It was like the air around him had changed and that frightened me. I felt the hairs on the back of my neck stand upâ¦
âI donât thinkâ¦that thereâs anything special about meâ¦â I replied, trying to keep the panic from showing in my voice.
âIâm sure thatâs not true and thereâs no need for you to be so modestâ¦â Prince Kin said as he leaned closer to me from across the table.
His change in mannerism and the way that he was looking suggestively at me made me feel cornered like a prey. I knew then that it was a mistake coming to this place to meet him alone. My headache had gotten much worst, my body felt hot, and it was starting to get harder to breathe. I should probably ask to take my leave right now.
âI think I should leave for the day. I donât want to overstay my welcomeâ¦â I said as politely as I could before I began getting up from my seat.
I felt extremely unwell when I stood up. My head felt heavy and unbelievably hazy, I couldnât keep my balance at all. Quickly, I reached out to grip the table with my hands to maintain my balance. I didnât want to believe it. How could I get so sickâ¦and so suddenly?
âOh dearâ¦let me help support you,â Prince Kin said as he quickly came to my side and wrapped an arm around my waist to support me.
âPrince Kinâ¦â I called his name, my voice sounding so weak. I wanted to tell him to let me go, but I couldnât. My head hurtsâ¦
âYou should come and rest this way on the sofa,â Prince Kin said as he guided me towards a large sofa in the room.
The short walk to the sofa left me panting for breath. My body feels abnormally hot, and my clothes felt tight. I wanted to remove themâ¦
âYour body is reacting so much and so fastâ¦Iâve used the potion many times before, but Iâve never seen a woman reacting to it this fastâ¦â Prince Kin whispered seductively into my ear.
A potionâ¦? What did he give me? Is that whyâ¦Iâm feeling this way?
Was that why he spent so much time talking to me? All this time, heâs been waiting for the potion to take effect?
His arm around my waist tightened, pulling me closer to his body as he stared down at my face. Heâs too closeâ¦
âPrince Kinâ¦please stopâ¦â I managed to say although my throat felt so dry.
I used my hands to push against his chest; however, my body felt heavy and weak. It felt like I had a mild fever, and my mind was hazy. I couldnât think straight, and I shook my head from side to side, trying to desperately clear my mind.
âRelaxâ¦donât resist it. Let the pleasure take over your bodyâ¦â Prince Kin hissed in my ear.
The next moment, I felt the sensation of the sofa against my back and realized that Prince Kin had pushed me down onto the sofa. I needed to scream for help, but I didnât have the strength or control for that anymore. My body felt like it was on fire, and I couldnât stop myself from writhing from the discomfort.
âYou must be feeling so hot right now, Iâll help remove your clothes for youâ¦â Prince Kin said with a laugh as his hands boldly reached for the sash around my waist.
Heâs going to strip me. How can I stop him? I shouldnât have come hereâ¦
