âThat only proves Abelâs guilt over Flynn! Iâve always thought Flynnâs accident was related to Abel!â
Edmond said it with a gloomy expression.
âNo matter what I say, you wonât listen. Struyria Police are on their way here, and when they catch Erin, you will naturally know the truth!â Adrien said as he frowned.
Edmond paused for a moment and asked, âWhat? Does Abel request that the police show up? Isnât he going a little too far?â
âAbel is a businessman, so if he wants to cause trouble, he doesnât have to use the police,â said Adrien. âErin might have been apprehended a long time ago! You donât get to babble now. You b*tch!â
âHow can you curse at people?â Edmond became frustrated.
âI want to punch you so badly!â Adrien stood up and rolled up his sleeves. âIf itâs not for Lizâs sake, I donât care about you!â
âAdrien! You better show me some respect!â exclaimed Edmond. He was the young master of the Murphy family; who would dare speak to him in such a manner?
âIâd like to, but is that what you want?â Adrien snorted coldly.
âAll right, put an end to this fight! Give me a break!â Paul exclaimed, his face grim. âLetâs talk about it when the police arrive! Justice is served for both good and bad.â
Edmond remarked, âDad, Abel has blatantly framed the Murphy family. He wonât let Murphy escape.
Canât you see it?â Paul was rendered speechless.
If the police walked inside the Murphy family manor to make arrests, the publicity wouldnât be good.
Abel had, in fact, repeatedly targeted the Murphy family ever since Evelyn got into trouble.
Adrien no longer bothered them, saying, âThink about it yourself. Iâll take Liz away tonight, and after Eriri is caught, Iâll send Liz back!â
Paul said calmly, âErin is here. Edmond is right. Abel requested that the cops make an immediate arrest at the Murphy. What does he think we are?â
Adrien gently explained, âUncle Edmond, police officers are merely doing their official tasks. Not to worry. If the matter is revealed, everyone will understand the cause.â
Erin, behind the stairs, turned around and left when she heard this. If the police caught her, didnât that suggest the situation was over?
âI believe what Adrien said,â Mrs. Murphy explained calmly. âErin doesnât seem like a good person at first.â
âMom! Donât get involved,â Edmond said while holding back his rage. âAbel requested that police come to the Murphy to arrest Erin; he didnât take the Murphy seriously. He was avenging Evelyn for previously provoking his wife!â
Mrs. Murphy didnât know what to say. She was aware that Evelyn had repeatedly harmed Emmeline.
âI donât care anymore,â said Adrien. âLiz, you come with me first.â
âWait, Iâll go upstairs and ask Erin to come down,â Edmond said. âLetâs confront one another!â
âEdmond, canât you believe me once?â frowned Adrien.
âIf the car accident was ordered by Erin, I wouldnât let her walk out of the Murphy half a step,â Edmond stated coldly. âWhen the police arrive, Iâll hand her up by myself, but if it werenât for her, I wouldnât let Abel get away with this matter!â
Paul agreed with a nod.
Mrs. Murphy continued. âThen ask her to come down; letâs ask clearly in person!â
Lizbeth agreed as well; itâs preferable to ask about this in person.
Edmond turned around and strode aggressively up to the third floor. However, he hurriedly ran down with a note in his hand, saying, âMom and Dad! Erin has left!â
ââ¦What? Did she overhear it?â Paul inquired, getting up on the sofa.
