Emmeline nodded in agreement. âItâs true. You seem to be wellâinformed!â
âIn that case, congratulations to you!â Alana sneered. âOnce youâre engaged, youâll belong to someone else!â
âYouâre overthinking Emmeline sneered and replied, âEven so, you still canât control Abel. Heâs not someone you can handle!â
Alanaâs heart sank at Emmelineâs words. She believed her.
Furrowing her brows, she bitterly said, âWell then, take your time. Donât good men also fear being worn down?â
âYou can try.â Emmeline replied coldly, lowering her eyes. âBut first, take your lireakfast with you!â
âI bought it for you out of kindness!â
Emmeline laughed. âLetâs see if your kindness is genuine or not!â
She took a small hairpin from her bag and threw it on the ground. âAnd take this with you too. These tricks wonât work!â
Alanaâs face turned pale as she picked up the hairpin and said. âI couldnât find it earlier. It dropped here?â
âDonât play tricks!â Emmeline sneered. âLuckily, I found it. If Abel had seen it, you would have suffered greatly!â
8 am. at Altney Steel Central Hospital, When Albus arrived, Abel received a message from James. âHave you made a decision?â
Abel replied with a smile. Letâs do it!
He had no doubts. Albus deserved to die!
The sooner, the better!
Yet, Albus was currently here, taking care of Maxwell. How would Jamesâ people make their move?
Abel didnât doubt their abilities. He was just curious.
At 8:40 am, Albus received a phone call informing him that he had to return to work.
Abel escorted him downstairs.
James mentioned that he had to finish the task within two days.
Today was the second day.
Abel thought, bidding farewell to this b*stard was also a part of the plan.
Walking with Albus, he suddenly felt a sense of familiarity with him!
Abel quickly shook his head, not delving deeper into his thoughts.
When they reached the square, Albus stopped and said to Abel, âYou go back. Iâll come to replace you after I finish work at noon.â
Abel didnât know whether to nod or shake his head. So, he just muffled, âOkay.â
Just then, a huge motorcycle suddenly appeared in their line of sight.
Abelâs mind flashed. They be here!
The motorcycle was moving so fast that it was almost impossible to see with the naked eye.
The motorcycle arrived in front of them in the blink of an eye, just before the driver raised an armâ
Albus was unaware. He just thought that motorcycle was so cool!
He was about to say something when Abel suddenly lunged at him!
Albus was thrown several meters away and fell to the ground.
Then, he saw something fly past Abelâs left shoulder!
Abel let out a cry and fell to the ground.
The motorcycle raced out about twenty meters, made a quick turn with a squeak, and then charged back!
Abel quickly turned around on the ground and made the gesture James had taught him.
The person on the motorcycle hesitated, then lowered their raised arm and sped out of the hospital in at cloud of smoke, disappearing.
All of this happened in just five or six seconds!
Albus didnât see anything.
Yet, he saw the large patch of crimson blood on Abelâs left shoulder as he lay on the ground!
âAbel!â Albus was startled and rushed over. âWhat happened? How did you get hurt?â
Abel knew the bullet that was supposed to hit Albus heart had grazed his shoulder and struck the tree trunk behind him.
âSomeone injured me! Abel pretended to be confused. âA part from the motorcycle flew off!*
âIt doesnât matter!â Albus looked anxious. Ill take you inside to bandage it!â
âItâs fine, just a superficial wound, Abel said as he sat up.
âThe bullet torr his shirt, and his shoulder was covered in blood.
âHurry and get it bandaged!â Albus helped him up, âYouâre bleeding a lot F*ck you! Abel cursed in his mind. Jone did I end up saving you at a critical moment?
Itâs a twist of fate! A missed opportunity! Saying that I donât regret it would be a lie!
However, now that things had come to this, it was up to him to decide whether to kill or save. There was no point in complaining.
Abel only cursed Albus and his family in his mind.
