It was the weekend, and after finishing their breakfast, the family of six was getting ready for a big shopping trip. They had four kidsâ rooms that needed organizing, and it was no small feat.
As soon as they were done getting ready, they headed down to the kitchen.
âMr. Abel and Ms. Louise are so in love,â Kendra remarked. âLook at them making breakfast together like that.â
âThatâs exactly what we were hoping for,â Daisy replied with a grin. âIf it werenât for you coming along when you did, our Missy might have missed out on her real hubby.â
âThey really are a perfect match,â
Kendra said, her voice tinged with envy. âJust look at them, both talented and gorgeous.â
âAbsolutely,â Daisy said with a hint of pride The only one who can match up to our Missy is Mr. Abel.â
âI couldnât agree more,â Kendra chimed in. âI was blown away by Ms. Louiseâs beauty five years ago, and Iâve remembered her ever since.â
âThank goodness you remembered,â Daisy said. âIf it werenât for you figuring out Alana, who knows how long we would have had to keep up the charade.â
âEverything happens for a reason,â Kendra sighed.
âYouâre up!â
Emmeline spotted the two women and waved them over to the kitchen. âGo wake up the kids, breakfast is ready.â
âItâs because we slept in,â Kendra said âWe feel bad for making you and Mr. Abel do all the cooking.â
âThe kids love my breakfast,â Emmeline smiled sweetly. âEspecially Timmy. I want him to have mommyâs cooking every day.â
âThatâs what being a real mom is all about,â Kendra said. âAs for that Alana, I only met her once, but she gave me witch vibes. Not authentic at all.â
âOh, speaking of which, Kendra,â Emmeline interjected. âDid Mr. Abel tell you? Your daughterâs Rame will be Quincy Ryker?â
âRykerâ¦â Kendra was momentarily stunned. âQuincy Ryker?â
âWhatâs wrong? You donât like the idea of having Mr. Abelâs last name?â
âNo, no,â Kendra quickly reassured. âIâm just overwhelmed with gratitude. Itâs such an honor to have Mr.
Abelâs last name.â
âYou made it possible for our family to reunite,â Emmeline said. âSo letâs have the little one named Ryker, as a way to thank you. And when she grows up, the Ryker family will be her support.â
âIn two years, sheâll be old enough for kindergarten,â Abel added. âSheâll attend the same one as our four kids.â
Kendraâs eyes welled up with tears, nodding repeatedly. âThank you, Ms. Louise. Thank you, Mr. Abel.â
âDonât mention it,â Emmeline smiled. âFrom now on, weâre family.â
âYeah,â Kendra nodded vigorously. âIâll go wake up the kids.â
Soon enough, the four little ones came bounding down the stairs, excited and happy.
âMommy, Daddy!â
The four little ones waddled over with chubby hands outstretched and short legs moving as fast as they could.
Abel and Emmeline quickly knelt down to receive them./
âWow, Daddy and Mommy made breakfast together!â
âI love Mommyâs breakfast the most!â
âI can finally eat Mommyâs cooking!â
Timothy cheered, reaching out his chubby arms to embrace Emmeline. âMommy, I love you!â
Emmelineâs eyes narrowed in happiness as she stooped down to pick up little Timmy, hugging and kissing him.
âMommy loves you too, Timmy.â
The other three children pounced en Abel, nearly knocking him over with their excitement.
âDaddy, youâre finally our official Daddy!â
âThis is just too good to be true!â
âI thought I was dreaming last night, but now I see itâs real!â
Abel beamed with joy, tightly embracing his three little ones.
âI must have saved the galaxy in my previous life,â he said, his eyes getting moist. âMy greatest achievement isnât owning Ryker Group, itâs having you guys and Mommy. Even if I could have countless Ryker Groups, I wouldnât trade you for anything. I am so happy!â
Meanwhile, Kendra had come over holding the baby.
âAuntie Kendra said her little oneâs name is Quincy Ryker now,â Timothy said. âSo sheâs our little sister, the fifth member of our brotherhood!â
