Gu Wan’an squatted in the corner with her hands in the air, like a lifelike statue of a criminal.

The phone rang a few times before it was picked up.

“Butler Tang, please get Gong Mingye to answer the phone. I have something to talk to him about.”

“Alright, please wait a moment.”

Then, Tang De’s footsteps came into her ears through the phone. She clearly heard him say, “Young Master, Second Young Lady on the phone asking for you.”

“Beep–beep–beep.”

Before Gu Wan’an could even say anything, the call was hung up.
