I woke up to banging on the door, I wiped my eyes and looked around forgetting where I was, my back ached from being in a curled up position on the floor, I knew if I looked into the mirror there would be red rimming my eyes. The door went again, moms voice shouted
"Lilliana!" I wiped my eyes and crawled over to the door unlocked it and crawled to my bed pulling the cover over my face, mom walked in and spoke,
"Sweetie are you okay? Want me to make some soup?" I shook my head and she kissed my head and left, Caiden came in and sat on my bed,
"Lilly?"
"Yeah?"
"What happened?"
"What do you mean Cai?"
"Your lip? You've been crying? And Blake messaged me asking if your okay, he says they're all worried" I looked to the side and noticed Milly facing us, I felt Caiden's stare on the side of my face, he sighed,
'Lilly please tell me?" I put on a fake smile and ruffled his hair,
"Everything's fine little man, I just feel a little ill, I'll be as fit as a fiddle tomorrow" once I said that both of us starting laughing
"Fit as a fiddle? Seriously Anna?" I burst out laughing again and shook my head,
"Don't call me Anna, denden"
"Don't call me denden!" We both playfully glared at each other until we both burst out laughing again, we both went downstairs with my blanket and watched movies.

It's been a month, Missy or the others don't interact with me anyone, apart from the rare occasion she messages me to ask if I'm okay, no once notices me at school as I stay hidden, I'm spending more time with Caiden, taking him out with Cole, but the main reason is because dads back, yeah I know, what the hell right? Well he made this big apology to mom, said it was just a weak moment that he was having trouble at work, but it's all sorted and he's a changed man, well that's what he said, I can see threw his lies, mainly because he will trip and push me when no ones looking. The worst part is Xavier he won't leave me alone, when I'm sitting by myself at school, he magically appears, beats me up then leaves, I had the guts once to ask him why and he laughed saying its just for fun, considering Hunter doesn't care anymore. About Hunter he's with Megan, in her words he apparently told her that he went out with me for a dare, make the mute girl talk then dump her. I guess that's exactly what he did, but with the extra if Xavier on the side.
I'm currently in the cafeteria on a table at the back sitting by myself like normal watching out the window as the rain fell, i could here the rest of the students mumbling about the new student that started today, i ignored them as its only another person who will pretend i don't exist, all today I've heard about how hot he is, how mysterious he is, apparently he hasn't spoke to anyone yet apart from Nathan who he apparently beat up for bad mouthing him, and he's meant to good fighter. Someone's voice made me jump,
"Can I sit here?" I looked up and confusion rushed over me, who's he? I just shrugged and looked back out the window, he wouldn't be able to see my face anyway I have a black hoodie on, oh and I forgot I only speak when I have to, like if mom or Caiden speaks to me otherwise I don't see the point In talking. I seen him sit in the corner of my eyes, I also felt several pairs of eyes on us, I could here them all thinking, why is he sitting next to her? Why didn't he sit with us? Who is he? Where did he come from?
"Thank you, I'm Ashton" I looked to the table but watched him from the corner of my eye, I could see him properly but my face was still hidden from his View, he had black short hair, crystal blue eyes and a lip piercing, he was one of those boys that could pull it off, to be honest the rumours are true that he's hot, but the blue eyes aren't my type plus I'd have no chance anyway, I wasn't interested and i don't trust anyone anymore.
"Hello?" Just as I was about to say my name, Mandy's voice spoke,
"Don't waste your time with this nobody, I'm Mandy and this is Amber, and we wanted to invite you over to our table over there" the was a silence unlike he spoke again with a cold voice,
"Not interested, move along." I heard her am amber gasped, I had to bite my lip to stop myself laughing, amber must of noticed because she sneered at me,
"What you laughing at mute!" I gulped and stayed looking at the table, Ashton spoke up for me making the rest of the cafeteria gasp in shock,
"Obviously both of your faces considering there so funny to look at" Mandy did a little angry scream then walked off, I noticed Ashton look back at me,
"So your mute?" I hesitantly shook my head,
"So you do speak?" I nodded,
"whats yours name?"
"Lilliana" he nodded and passed me his time table,
"You have any classes with me after dinner? I know your in my first classes, I seen you at the back." I took the slip and looked at it scanning the paper, his classes where the same.
"All of them" he smiled and then spoke again,
"Thank god, I thought I'd have to sit next to some another bimbo airhead again, I bit my lip again to prevent me laughing,
"So Lilly why are you covering your face?" I hesitated, the real reason was because Xavier got me yesterday dinner time and I have a black eye and I didn't have enough time to out concealer on before school so I just but a black hoodie on.
"To stay hidden" his eyes scrunched up in confusion,
"Why?"
"As you heard before I'm a nobody, I'd prefer it that way, If I was you I'd stay away from me"
"Nope" he popped the 'p' and I turned to face him with confusion knowing my face was still hidden,
"Why?"
"Because your my friend"
"I don't want a friend"
"We'll you have one know"
"But-"
"No buts, your my new friend so deal with it" I got a message and looked at it,
ToLillyFromXavier: get rid of of your new play toy. Slut.
I closed the message and placed my head down on the table with frustration, Ashton spoke,
"What's wrong Anna?" I looked up at him with shock
"Anna?"
"Yeah, you know Lilliana has Anna on the end, and I'm guessing most people call you Lilly and I want to be different. So Anna it is, but no changing the subject, what's wrong?"
"Nothing, wrong number" he nodded and spoke,
"Bells going to go, you coming?" I nodded and stood, I slightly moved my head to we face the of her way but made it look like I was looking at the door but I was actually looking at Missy, Blake and Swayer, they where glaring at Ashton, while missy was looking at me with regret, Hnter wasn't with them, he was sitting with Megan.

We had English but we had a supply teacher, so basically it was a free lesson, Ashton was sitting next to me, missy and Swayer where in the seats in front, Blake was next to me and hunter was sitting on Megan's seat with her on his lap, even though, Swayer, Missy and Blake all still septic next to me they still ignore me, Ashton spoke,
"So, is like a free lesson when we have a supply teacher?" I nodded, before he could ask another question a voice spoke,
"Ashton right? I'm hunter, this is my girl Megan, my bros Swayer and Blake, Swayers girl Missy" I faced the tabled hiding my face more, Ashton sat back in his chair,
"Yeah?"
"Me and my friends where wondering where you came from?"
"We'll that's no of your business, so if you wouldn't mind, get lost" I noticed hunters hand form into a fist, hunter spoke with a angry voice,
"And why would I do what you want?"
"Because I said so" hunter grabbed him by the shirt, but Ashton just smiled unaffected by hunters anger, I stood and grabbed hold if hunters hand that I seen him moved about to hit him, hunter looked at me with regret then his emotions went blank, he couldn't see my face still which I'm glad of,
"Get off my hand" I pushed his hand away and pushed him back, hunter sneered,
"What are you doing Lilly!" I ignored him and spoke with a flat voice,
"Leave him alone" Megan joined in
"Or what mute freak?" I glared even though she couldn't see me, Ashton spoke still leaning back on his chair like he hand no care in the world that he nearly just got punched
"Mute freak? She just spoke didn't she, wow you really are a airhead bimbo" she looked at hunter with a plea for him to speak up for her but he was staring at me with a black face, he turned and walked out. Everyone went quiet and sat back down.
Ashton walked to Caiden's school with me, he has a little sister called Penelope, but she likes to be called poppy, and we exchanged numbers on the way.
