The alarm woke both me and Caiden up, Caiden stretched to turn it off knowing it would hurt me, I slowly got up and he helped me to the bathroom before he went to his room to get ready. I showed relaxing my body then struggled to get ready, I didn't do nothing to my hair, looked for Caiden to see him just grabbing his bag, he looked up at me and smiled sadly,
"What's up sis?" I showed him my bobble and pointed to my hair, he sighed got the spare brush I keep in his room then sat. On the chair while he brushed my hair into a ponytail, he sighed when he finished and spoke,
"You know moms going to find out one day" I mutely nodded, we went down stairs and I got a bad feeling in my stomach, I gulped and walked into the kitchen so see mom half asleep and dad rubbing her back, Caiden spoke what I was thinking,
"What's wrong mom?" She looked up and smiled but I could tell it was fake so could Caiden,
"Just having a bad day honey, your fathers taking me to the doctors after, don't worry so much" me and Caiden hugged mom tightly and I kissed her head while Caiden spoke,
"Bye mom we love you" she smiled,
"I love you to my babies" I took we and Caiden to the café for our breakfast then we walked to school.
It was dinner and we were sitting by the tree, when the desk lady walked up to us, she had a sad smile on her face, she stopped and looked at me,
"Honey, you need to go pick your brother up, your moms in hospital" I froze, everyone turned to look at me, Lilly started signing but I couldn't register what she was trying to say, I could here Blake talking and hunter reaching for me, I stood and they all went quiet and I walked out of the school gates, and walked to Caiden's school, I went to the desk lady and wrote,
Caiden Winter, our mom is in hospital and we need to leave, I'm his sister Lilliana Winter.
The desk lady read it and walked out to go fetch him, she came back ten minutes later with Caiden who looked worried, he seen me and ran into my arms crying, I hugged him tightly and kissed his head, I asked the desk lady to order us a taxi, considering I couldn't speak and she smiled politely and did. We were both sitting in the taxi anxiously , once it parked I paid and we both ran to the hospital desk Caiden spoke,
"Hello ma'am, could you tell us where Poppy Winters room is please?" She looked at us and spoke with a snobby voice,
"Names and relations?"
"Caiden's and Lilliana Winters, and she's our mother" she looked on the computer and spoke softly,
"She's in the intensive care unit, room 509, take the lift to the fifth floor and it should be the fifth floor on your left" I nodded and grabbed Caiden's hand, once we got to her room we rushed in and Caiden collapsed to the floor at the sight of her.
I picked him up into my arms while he cried, even though it hurt my whole body, his head was in my shoulder and his tears where rolling down, while his arms where wrapped around my neck tightly. Mom was covered in tubes and bandages, and her eyes where closed. I looked up to the board over her head to read she was in a coma, I felt tears roll down my face, but I had to be strong for Caiden. I looked dad to see him sitting in the chair, do you wanna know what pissed me off? The fact he was sitting there with only a fucking scratch on his head! Once he seen us he grinned, then spoke,
"We had a car crash, your mothers in a coma and there's a chance she might not wake up" I glared at him and hugged Caiden tighter, once he finished crying he fell asleep with exhaustion, I sat on the chair carefully not to knock Caiden and glared at dad the whole time, he just smiled at me, when the doctor came on his face changed to fake concern, the doctor smiled sadly at us,
"You must be Lilliana, am I correct?" I nodded and he pointed to Caiden,
"And that's little Caiden" I nodded again,
"Im Doctor Green, but you all can call me Luke, We'll I have updates on her condition, all her vitals are fine, but it's all up to her know, let's just hope she doesn't give up, I will call you if any changes happen, and I have the timetable of the times you can visit, but I'm afraid visit time is over know and you must leave, I'm am terribly sorry" I nodded sadly and stood, wobbling trying not to lose balance and fall, the doctor caught me and I smiled thankfully, he smiled and passed the time table to my and one to my dad, then nicely told us to leave.
Dad drove us home and my mind didn't know what to think, what's dad going to do when we get home or is mom going to be okay, I wiped my tears and hugged Caiden for comfort, he was still sleeping on my lap with his arms around me and his head rested on my shoulder, once we parked I struggled to get out dad left us, once I got Inside dad spoke with anger in his voice,
"Make me dinner now!" I gulped and nodded, I ran to my room and placed Caiden on my bed and tucked him in, then Locked the door so dad couldn't get him, then ran downstairs to make dad tea, once I was done I walked up the stairs to my room numbly, I sat down on the chair by my bed and watched Caiden sleep peacefully, I wish he didn't have to I threw this, he's to young, he doesn't need this crap, he started having a nightmare, I reached over and moved his hair of his head and hummed a song softly, his nightmare faded away and he snuggled tighter into my bed, I smiled sadly and sat back watching him sleep.
I stayed awake all night making sure Caiden slept peacefully, I looked at my phone to see it was 6:00 I Reached over to turn my alarm off, deciding Caiden was having the day off he needed it, I went downstairs, to see dad sitting there with a newspaper, he looked up once he heard me,
"I have work all day, I won't be back until 8 tonight make sure you have my dinner ready for then, and make sure you go school, you little brat!" I nodded, he walked out the house and I sighed then got myself ready for school, (outfit on the side) once I was ready, I went over to Caiden and shook him gently, his eyes opened and I smiled sadly,
"Sis?" I got the note out I wrote and he read it,
You can stay home today, dad has got work all day so you will be fine, I'll go in your school and inform them so they don't ring him, I have to go though are you gong to be okay?
"I will be fine Lilly, can we visit mommy after you finish school please?" I smiled and nodded, I kiss his head and gave him the remote for my tv and passed him a chocolate bar, don't judge, he needs a sugar rush :) I hugged him one more time and left, his school said it's fine he has the day off, he can stay off for as long as he needs, I walked to and once I got there Blake was the first one to see me, he ran over and hugged me to death,
"Minnie! Are you okay?" I hugged him back and nodded, Swayer spoke as Missy hugged me and wouldn't let go,
"You look like shit, did you even sleep last night?" I shook my head, I signed know missy would translate,
Had to make sure Caiden was okay, he kept having nightmares, they all looked sad, she spoke,
"How is your mom Lilly bug?" I looked down and signed,
She's in a coma, mom and dad has a car crash, dad only came out with a scratch, she gasped then told them, the bell went and I walked to class, with them following me.
I was in class before lunch and this so the class Im on my own, I walked to the back and Amber decided to trip me, fell straight into my wrist and gasped in pain, everyone laughed and I just stood and sat at the back ignoring them.
I walked to the tree and sat hugging my wrist, but hide it from the others, Hunter noticed something wrong and spoke,
"Come with me Lilly" I looked up and stood, we walked to his hiding spot behind school and he opened his arms and spoke,
"Come here" I hesitantly walking into his arms and he tightened them around me I rested my head on his chest, he spoke softly,
"You can cry you know, I won't judge, you shouldn't keep your emotions in like this" I bit my lip to stop myself sobbing, he kissed my head then hugged me tighter into his chest, that's when I started crying, I cried for my mom, my brother everything he's been through, and myself. He whispered sweet nothing's in my ear as I cried in his arms, once I finished he leaned back and kissed my head,
"Feel a little better?" I smiled and nodded, I kissed his cheek and hugged him again,
"I'll take that as a thank you" he chuckled as I nodded, we walked back to the group after I wiped my eyes, I was about to sit down but Hunter pulled me onto his lap and I blushed causing everyone to laugh at me, I leaned back onto his chest while he played with my hands, everyone else was having there own conversation, Hunter accidentally nudged my wrist and I gasped hope in he wouldn't hear me but he did, he turned me on his lap and pulled up my sleeve making sure I was hidden from the rest of the group, he growled when he noticed it was blue, he looked into my eyes and spoke
"What happened?" I gulped and tried to tell him with my hands, I made to legs nd made them walk then fall,
"You tripped over?" I nodded, he sighed and tuned me back around then rested his head on top of mine.
I sighed in relief.
Once I got home and made dinner for dad then checked on Caiden, he was laughing at the cartoon he was watching, he turned to see me and I smiled,
"Hey sis, what time we going to see mom?" I pointed to him and then my clothes,
"When I'm ready?" I nodded he got up as quick as he could and changed while I put dads dinner in the fridge, I made Caiden eat what I made him while I ate mine then we got a taxi to the hospital, once we got there the doctor smiled at us,
"Hello, Miss Lilliana and Mr Caiden" Caiden said hello then ran over to mom and held her hand, I waved and smiled sadly, I was about to walk over to mom, but Dr.Luke stopped me and spoke,
"Could I talk to you outside please?" I looked at Caiden, he smiled and nodded saying he would be okay, I looked back at Luke and nodded, once we was outside he spoke,
"I have a few questions about you, would you answer them as honestly as you can?" I nodded uneasily,
"Do you talk?" I shook my head
"So you are a mute?" I nodded
"Can you talk if you wanted to or can you not talk at all?" I put one finger indicating the first one, he nodded and wrote it down on his notepad,
"Would you be okay if I make an appointment for you to talk to a psychologist?" I shook my head, he sighed,
"Lilliana, I promise all the information will be confidential, not even your parents will be informed on what you tell the psychologist" I shook my head again, if dad knew I was going to them he would kill me.
"I will come as well if you want me to, if your scared about telling your parents, you won't need to tell them, I will personally make sure it's paid for and strictly confidential?" I sighed.
