I woke up to the alarm and reached over to turn it off, I got ready and changed into some leggings and long checkered top. I went into Caiden room to see it was empty, so I went downstairs to see him eating cereal, I smiled when I seen him, he smiled back, I decided if Im going to start talking Caiden should be one of the first person,
"Caiden, do you want pancakes?" He looked up at me with shock,
"D-did you j-just speak?" I smiled and nodded, he jumped up happily and hugged me,
"Yeah I'll have pancakes" I nodded and started cooking, he spoke,
"Sis, why did you start speaking again?"
"My psychologist said I should start speaking to the people I trust" he nodded,
"Is your face okay?"
"It hurts, but I put loads of concealer on, does it look okay?"
"Yeah" I placed the pancakes in front of him and me and we started eating,
"I'm glad you started speaking again Lilly"
"Me to Caiden, I missed talking to you" he smiled.
We got to his school and I kissed his head and whispered in his ear,
"Have a good day cay-cay" he hugged me tightly and walked off waving, once I got to school Blake, Swayer and Hunter came over to me and Swayer looked sad, I raised an eyebrow, Blake answered my unasked question,
"Missy's Ill" I used carry on gesture,
"Just a stomach bug, she will probably be in tomorrow" I nodded, hunter moved closer to my face,
"Are you wearing makeup?" I shook my head hesitantly, Blake spoke
"Yes you are!" Hunter went to wipe it from my face and I slapped his hand away, he glared and I gulped,
"Why are you wearing that liquid cream stuff?" I shrugged, Blake spoke for me
"She's thinking, because I feel like it" I nodded and looked at Hunter, but Swayer spoke up
"You have cuts under your make up" my eyes widened and I glared at him, Hunter moved closer and nodded,
"Why?" I shook my head
"Tell us Minnie?" I shook my head again, Swayer spoke,
"Lilly, where your friends, you can trust us" I just carried on walking past them they wouldn't stop bugging me all day, it's now gym, dodge ball again, I groaned, Megan came over before Blake Hunter and Swayer did as sir was speaking to them, she snorted,
"Hey mute, why you wearing make up, no ones going to like you" I glared,
"You think they like you, they like Missy not you, no one likes someone who's mute, you can't even make them laugh, can tell them how you feel, your just a tag along loser" she pushed me and I snapped, I kicked her in the stomach, and she fell to floor I climbed on top of her and pulled up her hair and slammed it again the floor then punched her, I heard people surrounding us telling me to stop but I ignored them, this bitch has been bullying me since I became mute, she knows nothing, I smacked her head against the floor again and leaned down to whisper,
"And your just a stupid whore" she gasped and I hit her in the face again, only to be pulled off my Hunter, he spoke,
"Lilly stop!" Megan's groupies helped her up and she sneered, they moved her away and Blake spoke to me,
"Wow Minnie didn't know you could fight like that" I grunted
"She a bitch" they all looked at me in shock, Blake spoke first,
"M-Minnie did you just talk?" I shrugged, Hinter hugged me tighter to his chest
"I knew you would speak" I looked up and blushed, he shook his head in amusement, Swayer spoke
"Wow Lilly your voice it so..." Hunter spoke for him
"Cute" Swayer nodded, I giggled, then walked out as it was dinner, thing about his school they don't care if you fight, they say we should let all the aggression out now, before we get older, so I wouldn't get in trouble, once we sat in our normal spot at dinner they wouldn't stop talking about my voice, Blake spoke
"I can't believe the first words I heard you say are she's a bitch!" I laughed, Hunter Spoke
"It's true though. She is a bitch" Swayer spoke
"I can't believe you beat the shit out of her, who knew the quietist girl has the biggest fight in her" hunter knew I started to get uncomfortable, so he changed the subject but it wasn't a better one
"So Lilly, what happened to your face?"
I shook my head silently saying nothing, Blake pulled out a wipe and passed it to hunter, I was to in shock that Blake had a face wipe in his bag to realised hunter had already wiped my foundation off, them gasping made me jump into reality, I looked at the wipe to see it was covered in my foundation, I gasped and covered my face with my hands, but hunter spoke
"Lilly what happened?"
"N-nothing!" Hunter looked at the other and they left, he sat closer and spoke softly feeling my face where it was cut
"Lilly you have glass cuts all over your face, please tell me what happened!" Shit I need to think of something,
"Tell me" I shook my head and ran out of school, I could here him shouting me but I kept running, I ran to the hospital and sat next to mom, I cried silently
"I'm scared mom, I'm scared to speak fully, I'm scared of what he will do, I want it to go back to how it used to, I want you to tell me everything will be okay, I do want Caiden to see what he does to me, I hate it when he cries for me, I rewind his life, I'm getting tired mom, tired of being the strong one, tired of being bullied, tired of hiding my fear that shouldn't be a fear, he's meant to protect me but he's the one hurting me, I need you mommy please wake up" I wiped my tears ad Luke walked in,
"Lilly shouldn't you be at school?" I nodded then looked at him
"What the hell happened to your face Lilliana!"
I shook my head and pointed to the clock
"I have to go" I ran out with him shouting my name, I ran to Caiden's school and we ran home, we got there before dad and he looked at my face
"Lilly, your makeup has come off, you need To add more quickly" I nodded and ran to my room then started cooking dinner, Caiden sat in the kitchen watching me, he doesn't know how to cook yet but I'm going tot teach him when he's a little bit older, dad walked in and smiled when he seen the food already on the table, I mean actually smiled, I think I just died and went to heaven, then he looked up and glared at me and Caiden, he spoke
"I have a women coming around later, so I need you both out" Caiden spoke
"Why?"
"Because I asked her to come round for dinner that's why, your mother is practically dead no point in wishing on the hopeless" Caiden started shouting at dad, I watched with wide eyes,
"Your cheating on mom!"
"Your moms dead!"
"She in hospital she's alive!" Dad stood and shouted
"She's as good as dead, I've moved on now you two better! Actually pack a a bag and get. Out of my house, I don't need you here anymore!"
"Where are we going to go!"
"I don't give a shit!" This time I shouted
"YOUR A FUCKING BASTARD, I WISH YOU WAS DEAD!" Both of them looked at me with shock, until dad realised I what I just said and he came over and punched me in the lip, I stumbled and glared, he glared back and got the knife and stuck it in my side, I gasped and Caiden screamed my name, I pulled the knife out and dropped it and held my wound, dad spoke with venom,
"Clean this mess up and get out by the time I'm back with Zena" Caiden scrambled to clean up while I held the tea towel to my hip, thankful it's a black tea towel, Caiden packed a backpack, that had our valuables and some extra clothes, I will sneak back when we run out. Caiden carried the bag even though I protested,
"Lilly are we going to the house with them three boys?"
"It's the only place we can go, if not Luke is our last choice but he might call the police" he nodded and once we got to hunters house, Caiden knocked Blake answered and shouted
"HUNTER!" Hunter slowly walked over slightly drunk with a girl on his arm, his eyes widened when he seen me, I grabbed Caiden's hand with the one I had, I spoke with an Empty voice
"Let's go" hunter shouted
"Don't you dare take another step Lilly!" I ignored him Blake followed us,
"Minnie please stop a second, for me" I hesitated then stopped, Blake came over and pulled the towel away and gasped
"Shit Minnie you need to go to the hospital" I hook my head and he sighed
"Then come back to hunters with me so I can stitch you up?" Caiden spoke
"Please sis" I sighed and nodded, I placed the towel by my side again.
When we got to hunters the house was empty apart from hunter and Swayer, they stood and I didn't look at them Blake took me to the kitchen where Caiden stayed with Swayer, hunter followed us, hunter spoke
"Leave us Blake" he hesitated and looked at me, I nodded, hunter got the first aid kit and pointed to the stood, I looked at him like he's an idiot, he sighed picked me up and placed me on the tabletop, and got the stingy stuff, and cleaned my cut then started stitching me up which y the way Hurt like a bitch, then cleaned it again.
"You know Lilly this is the second time I've stitched up a wound on you, and the second time you haven't told me why" I ignored him and went to move but he just stood in between my legs, and cupped my face, he leaned hi ahead on mine and closed his eyes in defeat
"I'm sorry about today, it isn't a good day for me, and when you ran away when so asked you a question it hurt, It hurts that you don't trust me" I gulped
"Lilly please tell me what's going on?" I shook my head, he sighed and pulled away as Caiden walked in,
"Sis have you asked him?" I shook my head, he looked up and smiled innocently,
"Could we stay tonight please? We got kicked out again" hunter nodded and we went into the front room, Swayer, Blake and Caiden played the console, while I tried to watch but I could feel hunter staring at me, I looked a him an he looked sad, I tilted my head in question, he just smiled sadly, I stayed looking and him till he sighed and looked at the tv screen, I wonder what that was about? I stood slowly trying not to gasp in pain and went into the kitchen to get a glass of water, then went back to the front room.
I felt myself being lifted up carefully and then Caiden's voice
"Hunter?"
"Yeah?"
"Look after her please, she may not act like it but she trusts you a lot"
"Don't worry Caiden I will"
"Promise?"
"I promise" Once we go to his room, he led me down carefully and led down next to me, I whispered
"Hunter?"
"Yeah?"
"Are you okay? You said you was having a bad day?" He sighed
"Today's the day my parents and little sister passed away" I looked at him to see he was staring at the ceiling
"Hunter?"
"Yeah?"
"I'm sorry"
"I'm sorry two Lilly"
"You didn't have to tell me"
"I wanted to" it was silent again, he spoke breaking the comfortable silence,
"You know this is the most you have talked" I started silent for a few seconds then spoke again
"My psychologist said I should start talking to people I trust" he looked at me
"You trust me?" I nodded mutely, he spoke again
"You see a psychologist?" I nodded again, it went silent then he asked the same question I asked
"Are you okay?"
"I'm okay" he kissed my head and pulled me into his arms, making sure he didn't knock my hip, just as I closed my eyes and fell asleep I heard him whisper,
"I don't believe you Lilly"
