Aurora
It had been three days since I was taken to the roguesâ lair.
After I was taken from the hospital, the rogues had blindfolded me, then taken me to their hideout.
I suspected it was somewhere near the village border, because it only took a day and a half of walking to get there.
Once we got there, I was carried into a musty old dungeon and left there.
Since then, Iâd only seen one of the rogues, once a day, when he brought me my meal.
I discovered that the leader of the rogues' name was Klaus. His father had been Jacques Roulette.
The infamous rogue whoâd tried to dethrone the late Alpha Adalwolf, but in the end had died at Adalwolfâs hand.
I had been trying to contact my wolf, but it was like Rhea had disappeared.
If I could reach her, she could contact Wolfgang, and the rest of the pack, and I could report my whereabouts, so they could save me.
I wondered if Wolfgang would send someone to rescue me.
They surely wouldnât abandon me, would they?
But it had been three days and I hadnât heard anything from them. The rogues hadnât received so much as a letter answering their demands.
I heard footsteps, then the jingling of keys. The door opened, revealing Klaus.
âItâs been three days, little one, and still no answer from your alpha, or the pack,â he snarled. âI hope you arenât lying to me to protect the true luna.â
He knelt before me, taking a dagger out of his waistband. He pointed it at my face.
It was just mere inches away from my cheek. I could feel my skin burn. The blade must be made out of silver.
âHave you forgotten about the mark on my neck? I am the true luna,â I said.
He grabbed me by my chin. âAny male could mark you if he wanted to. The thing is, I donât think youâve marked your mate.â
He came closer. âIf I felt like it, I could remove that mark and have my way with you.â A sinister smile came to his face.
I saw lust written in his disgusting eyes.
I tried to push him away, but I was still too weak.
Why was my strength drained? Where was Rhea?
âNow that Iâve got a look at you, youâre not bad looking, little one lilâ Missy,â he said.
He nibbled on my earlobe, holding me down with one hand as the other moved between my thighs.
Panic took over me. I felt tears trickling down my cheeks.
âPlease, donâtâ¦â I pleaded. âIf you touch me, Alpha Wolfgang will know through our bond. And you promised you wouldnât harm meâ
âOh. Iâm counting on the alpha finding out,â he said with a smirk.
Wolfgang
âWhatâs taking so long? We should have sent the troops ages ago!â I shouted at my gamma.
âWe havenât gotten a reply from the Blue Moon pack yet. Without our allies, we could be at a disadvantage,â Remus answered.
âWe still donât know how many rogues are in that lair,â Max added, adding to my frustration.
It had been days, and we hadnât begun the rescue operation to save Aurora.
âThe Blue Moon pack will not aid us. I broke off my marriage to the alphaâs daughter,â I snarled. âWe need to move now!â
Suddenly, pain coursed through me. It started in my chest, then spread throughout my entire body.
âArgh!â I gripped my chest, doubled over from the pain.
âAlpha? Whatâs wrong?â Remus said, coming up to me.
âIâI donât⦠Argh!â The pain in my chest increased. My knees gave out, and I fell to the ground.
Then I saw it. Iâ¦
Saw him. The rogue.
He was looming over me.
But no⦠It wasnât me.
It was Aurora. I could hear her screams.
âNooo! Please! Stop!!â
He was forcing himself onto her. Harming her. I could feel everything he did to her through the mating connection.
âWolfgang, whatâsâ¦?â Max started to ask, kneeling next to me.
âM-make it stop! Please!â I gripped my head. It was agonizing. Tears streamed from my eyes.
The last thing I remembered before passing out was hearing Auroraâs pleading voice.
~âWolfgangâ¦â~
