Sophie laughed. âWell, weâd have to marry and divorce since the show is about exes.â
Nigel shook his head. âIâm never letting you go, but Iâm sure I can sneak you in somehow.â
He continued to stare at her and Sophie had never felt so excited and anxious and thrilled all at the same time.
âAnd you still have to come back home with me next month,â he added. âMy grandmother will grill you on babies and weddings.â
Sophie met his gaze and grinned. âIâm open to both.â
Nigel kissed her again, then wrapped his arms around her and picked her up, spinning her around.
âIâm never letting you go again,â he told her. âI hope you donât mind a houseguest because I packed a large suitcase.â
âStay as long as you like,â she told him.
âHow about forever?â
Sophie kissed him again and knew sheâd been given a second chance at her first love. Nothing could steal her happiness now.
