(â§â¡â§) Master! This is a journey of heart and fate!
Be patient... Sheâs broken now, but perhaps youâre the one who can help her become whole again.
[This quest will evolve depending on your choices.]
â...So after an evolving system, now Iâm getting evolving quests?â He lightly shook his head.
âSo, anyway, I need to gain her trust and uncover her identity?â He slowly glanced at the green-haired girl and shook his head. âThis wonât be easy.â
[Thatâs why thereâs no time limit given, Master! You have lots of time to help her open up to you.]
He hummed in agreement and turned to Edgar. "Uncle Edgar, how will I explain about her back at home? I canât just say I decided to bring home an elven slave, right?"
Edgar chuckled. "Well, that is for you to think about, Young Master. We canât help you with that."
Orion resignedly released a soft exhale. "Looks like Iâll just tell them what I can."
Edgar nodded but didnât comment further.
On the rest of the journey, Orion tried to communicate with the elven girl a few times, but each attempt turned out to be a failure.
He gave up and just enjoyed the view as they entered the third ring and then the second ring.

"We are here, Young Master! Time to take the missy home." Lucan grinned from behind the window while looking at Orion.
He lightly shook his head as he saw Edgar getting off the carriage. He followed after and descended as well. Turning around, he saw the girl sitting there motionless.
âIs she perhaps mentally disabled?â he inwardly wondered before gently reaching out to her hand and pulling her out of the carriage.
"Ah, lad, you are baâ" Eldric came out of the mansion with a smile, which soon froze as his gaze landed on the elven slave.
"Hmm? Is he here?" Seleneâs voice came from behind as she exited the mansionâs gate, pausing at the entrance.
"Cough, you guys need to listen to my explanation," Orion hurriedly said before they jumped to conclusions.
Eldric softly nodded and gestured for him. "Alright, come inside everyone. We can discuss more there."
Lucan and Edgar excused themselves and ran away from the trouble, leaving Orion alone to handle it.
He gently shook his head, grabbed the girlâs hand softly, and followed Eldric and Selene inside the building.
[Arenât you shaking your head too much lately, Master? (â__â)]
âBecause you keep my stress at max.â He directly replied.
[Nuuuuu!! (ಥ_ಥ)-]
But before Lumi could respond any further, they reached the main hall of the mansion. Eldric sent away all the servants and took his seat.
"So, who is she, and where did you find her?" Eldric curiously asked, while Seleneâs gaze remained fixed on the girlâs face. Her brows furrowed as if she were trying to see through something.
Orion took a deep breath. "Recently, I had a dream in which an elven girl helped me find my destiny. However, the dream was obscure and incomprehensible, yet it was deeply etched in my memory. I felt like if I didnât try to look for her, I would miss something really important."
Eldric and Selene looked at the two of them in surprise, and surprisingly, even the elven girl turned her face to look at Orion.
"Is that right? A dream, huh? So is she the girl from your dream?" Eldric looked deeply at her this time, trying to analyze everything about her. He soon found something amiss.
"Selene," he softly said.
"Yes. Someone used an illusion spell on her," Selene softly replied.
"Can you remove it?" he asked.
Selene smiled. "Who do you take me for? Iâd be too ashamed if I canât even dispel a spell someone placed months or even years ago."
She stood up and came in front of the elven girl, taking out her wand from her storage ring. She began chanting a spell softly as glowing runes materialized all around her.
Orion looked at all of this in wonder. âNo wonder I felt something was wrongâshe was under someoneâs illusion spell. Her true face was hidden.â
He finally realized what the issue was. He looked forward to seeing what her true appearance would be.
All the runes converged together before hitting the elven girlâs body directly.
BOOM!
Darkness flowed all around them as the illusion broke. And it revealed a breathtaking beauty in front of the group.
She had lustrous green hair that shimmered like emerald silk, deep violet eyes that seemed to pull you in, milky white skin smooth as jade, and cherry-red lips so full that one would want to take a bite.
Even Fiora and Rinaâeach a beauty in their own rightâpaled in comparison.
She seemed to ooze a natural charm that calmed all who saw her, yet there was a faint hint of despair in her otherwise otherworldly aura.
Orionâs eyes widened slightly in surprise. He hadnât expected her to be such a beauty. âDamn... I wonât curse you from now on, Lumi.â
[Hehehe~ (ç¬Âºâ¿Âºç¬)]
"So thatâs her true appearance?" Orion asked Selene.
"Yes, dear," Selene softly nodded while patting the girlâs head. "Someone placed an illusion spell on her for some reason. Probably so no one could recognize her. And itâs a quite high-level spell."
Eldric turned to Orion. "So, what do you plan to do with her? Keep her with us? Or what?"
Orion lowered his head in contemplation. Eldric and Selene looked at each other and decided to give him time.
After a short few seconds, he raised his head. "I donât think sheâs in any condition to leave by herself. And I still have many things I need to confirm with her."
Selene nodded her head. "Then weâll keep her with us. Sheâll be your third maid."
Orion hesitated. "Maid? Are you suâ"
"Sheâs already your slave, and being your maid isnât a shame but an honor. You are my grandson, after all," Selene proudly declared.
Orion swallowed what he was about to say, instead agreeing with her. "Then Iâll take her away. She needs a good bath."
Selene mischievously smiled. "Will you bathe her?"
"Huh? No! Of course not. Rina and Fiora will help her with the bath," Orion quickly rejected. He didnât want to taint his image in his grandmotherâs eyes.
frÑewebnoѵÄl.com "Hehe, Iâm joking. You should go," she fondly smiled and patted his head.
Eldric shook his head, watching her tease Orion again. "Donât tease him too much, lest he starts hating you."
Selene shook her head confidently. "Of course he wonât hate me. He would hate you first before me, if anything."
Eldricâs lips twitched. Sighing lightly, he took out an envelope. "Well, at least the damn dean of that academy replied. Orion can go there now whenever he wants and register. But heâll have to take the tests himselfâthe dean wants to see my grandsonâs capabilities."
