Millie looked into Winston’s eyes. Initially, she wanted to tell him that she no longer had the courage to swim because she had saved him.

“Don’t be so harsh all the time. After all, Joanna is just a woman,” Millie remarked lightly.

Winston gazed at her and asked, “Are you teaching me how to date someone?”

“I already know who leaked the news of our divorce to the media,” Winston uttered in an icy tone.

“But your affair has stirred up some trouble for my family. If my father bears a grudge against you because of this, I hope you can be more understanding Mr. Greer.”

Millie suddenly recalled the matter. Though the Caldwells were influential, they still couldn’t compare to the Greer family.

Suddenly, someone knocked on the door of the private room.

Millie was eating when she saw the restaurant owner walk in with a grin.

“Congratulations to both of you! Today’s our restaurant’s 30th anniversary, and you’ve been selected for a free meal!” the owner announced.
