Madison was frustrated with Rachelâs sarcastic response. The two locked eyes, their gazes
intense.
âRachel, Madison, look over here,â a photographer called out suddenly.
They immediately stood side by side, hand in hand, beaming at the photographer.
Millie was completely speechless. She figured this must be the epitome of an actorâs self- cultivation. However, Madison was still a long way from reaching Rachelâs level.
Rachelâs tassel dress radiated an extraordinary shine, and even though Madison revealed more skin, it just wasnât enough to match Rachelâs stunning presence. Standing side by side, Madison paled in comparison, unquestionably inferior.
Millie couldnât help but think that if she were in Madisonâs shoes, she would certainly be wise enough to steer clear of Rachel and avoid unnecessary trouble. Rachelâs presence was simply too radiant to handle.
âRach, do you know that Mr. Webson is currently searching for a new endorser?â Madison
asked.
âNo idea.â Rachel shook her head, pretending to be uninformed.
âYou didnât know?â Madison looked surprised.
However, before Rachel could respond, she smiled and declared, âIt doesnât matter if youâre
aware or not. This is mine.â
Rachel glanced at Madison.
Madison smiled and asked, âYouâre not going to compete with me, right?â
Rachel couldnât help but roll her eyes, thinking she was so pretentious. Rachel smiled, concealing her true feelings. âWell, I wonât compete for it.â
However, beneath her smile, she couldnât help but think, âIf Jake and I werenât getting along, I would definitely fight for it.â
As soon as Madison finished speaking, she noticed Jake approaching from the side. He was holding a glass of champagne, with one hand casually in his pocket, walking relaxedly.
It was quite a contrast to Winston, who seemed serious and indifferent most of the time, adopting a workâfocused attitude wherever he went. On the other hand, Jake appeared to be simply enjoying life.
Jake turned his head and caught sight of Rachel standing nearby. He walked toward her decisively.

âI need to talk to Rachel about something important. Have fun.â Jake smiled politely.
Madison immediately stopped him. âMr. Webson, I have something important to discuss with you. Could you spare a moment to speak with me?â
âWhatâs it?â asked Jake.
âI understand that Webson Group is looking for an endorser, and I-â
Jake interrupted her and decisively rejected her offer. âIâm sorry, but I already have an endorser in mind. Unfortunately, itâs not you.â
Madisonâs expression stiffened even more, and then she swallowed hard.
âYouâ¦â Madison intended to ask further, but she caught sight of Jakeâs gaze fixated on Rachel.
Madison felt a bit anxious and cautiously asked, âIs your candidate Rachel?â
Jake surveyed Madison from head to toe. âOf course. Who else could possibly be more deserving than her to endorse the Webson Group?â
