I've hardly known Zach for a week, but it actually felt like I've know him longer. He's been a big help with my math, and everything, but I feel like I'm falling into his pace. Closing my locker, I let out a soft sigh, and I felt his familiar presence behind me. Looking over my shoulder, he gave me a smirk and I rolled my eyes at him, before I leaned against the lockers.
"What?"
He smiled leaning closer to me, and trapped me with his arms. I could feel his body heat coming off him, and I caught the scent of smoke.
"You smoke?"
"Mhm."
"You know that's bad for you."
"You know Melissa, you should be more worried about yourself them me."
Glancing away from him, I noticed that a few people were glancing at us. Biting my lower lip, I looked back at Zach, and he smirked.
"You like cake?"
"Um... yeah."
"You like ice cream?"
"Yes."
"Ok good, be ready at the end of the day."
"Why?"
"We're celebrating."
"For what?"
"You'll see in a few."'
"Huh?"
He then leaned closer, and I felt him hover over my lips, and I ducked my head. He then chuckled, and I felt him move back, glancing up he was walking away. I wonder what that was all about, and I turned my head to see the normal glare on me. I wish Catherine would get a life already, and I left toward my class.
I was totally excited, not even Catherine could put me down. I got one of the highest grades on my math test, and it boost my C average to a B average. If I keep this up, I may ev en be able to get a A for the finally grading period. When my last class ended, I literally ran to my locker, to see Zach already there.
He glanced at me shocked, and I gave him a big hug. His back hit the lockers, and he let out a little oof sound.
"Wow there, what's going on."
"You're awesome."
"Well I knew that, but please tell me what I did for you to see I'm awesome."
Pulling away, I went through my bag, and pulled out my test. I shoved it in his face, and he laughed taking it from me.
"I got a 95 on my test, and it's all thanks to you mister tutor."
He gave me a smirk, and handed it back to me.
"Should we frame it," and I rolled my eyes at him.
Opening my locker, I shoved my books inside, before closing it.
"So what are we celebrating for?"
"Your success."
"Really?"
Turning around, I stared at him shocked, and he smirked at me.
"Yup, come on."
Pushing my bag over my shoulder, I then ran after him.
He once again had the car, and I didn't hesitate to get in the car this time. He seemed to be a safe driver so it's ok. We were driving, and some how ended up at Walmart. Glancing at him confused, he smirked turning the car off.
"We need to get the cake and ice cream."
My eyes widen at that, he was seriously going to celebrate me getting a good score on my test. I then got out the car, and followed behind him as we went inside the store.
Looking around, he grabbed a shopping cart, and I slowly followed behind him. Not really paying attention, I bumped into his back, and he looked back at me raising an eye brow. Feeling my cheeks turn red, I looked away from him, before going over toward the cakes. There were a few different kinds, I wonder which one we should pick, and I felt him behind me.
"Which one do you want?"
Looking back at him, he was glancing at each cake with a strange expression on his face.
"I don't know, you pick."
Staring at him for a moment, I shrugged my shoulders, and looked back down at the cakes. After a few minutes I decided on a vanilla cake, and turned around putting it in the basket. Zach had been leaning over the basket with this bored look on his face. I really didn't get him some times, and he stood up straight continuing to walk down the aisle, and I slowly followed behind him.
Walking down the aisle, we stopped at the ice cream, and he turned his head to me.
"What flavor do you like?"
"Vanilla."
"Well I like chocolate."
"I think they have a mixture."
Opening the door, I looked inside until I found a tub with one half vanilla and the other chocolate.
"What about this?"
"Hmm... it'll do."
Putting it in the basket, I looked at him. He glanced at me, before starting to walk again, and I once again slowly followed behind him. He went and got a few more things, like drinks, and candy. We were soon in line to pay for the stuff.
I noticed that the girl in line couldn't take her eyes off him. Sighing, I wonder if this kind of thing happens all the time. As she rung the stuff up, I slipped by Zach, and put the bags back in the basket.
"So come here a lot."
I glanced at the girl like was she for real. It's Walmart, who doesn't come here, and Zach glanced at her, before pulling out his wallet.
"I guess."
"Well I never seen you before."
Oh please give it up girl, shaking my head I turned looking the other way.
"It's a big store."
I was not getting frustrated, I told myself. Letting out a sign, I bit my lower lip. I was then bumped with the basket, and I threw him a glare, but he just smirked.
"You and your sister gave a nice day."
She literally purred out, and I felt my eye twitch. A arm went around my waist, and I was pulled against him.
"Oh she's no way my sister, but you have a nice day."
Glancing at him, he still wore the same smirk. Taking a look back, she now had a scowl on her face.
"Why did you say that?"
"Cuz I felt like it."
Looking up at him, I pulled out if his grip and folded my arms. He rolled his eyes at me.
" Besides I didn't want you to get any more jealous than you were. Now get a bag."
I felt my cheeks turn red, and I grabbed a bag walking to the door. There is no way I was jealous, and I could hear his laughter behind me.
When we made it back to Zach's house, it was around four thirty, and no one was here. Grabbing a bag, I followed him inside, and we went into the kitchen. Setting the ice cream in the fridge, he turned his head and stared at me for a moment.
"Your staying for dinner right?"
"Um..."
I'd end up pretty late getting home, and I connected with his blue eyes. I saw something different in them, and I slowly nodded my head. He gave me a nod, and I slipped out of the kitchen, and into the living room. There I called my house.
"Hello?"
"Aunt Cali?"
"Melissa is that you, where are you?"
"Um listen I'm studying pretty late today."
"I see, well your Dad is going to be doing an all nighter. Do you need dinner or anything?"
"No I'll probably just get something on the way back."
"Ok I trust you Mel, call me when you get home."
"Ok."
Hanging up my phone, I took a deep breath, and sat down on the couch. This is the first time I'd lie to a family member before. Putting my phone away, I leaned my head back.
"So naughty lying to your aunt like that."
Turning my head, he was laying against the wall staring at me with a smirk on his face. Biting my lip, I turned away from him looking down at the floor, I just hope this doesn't backfire on me.
He then moved sitting beside me, and threw his arm around my shoulders. Staring at him for a moment, and let out a sigh.
"So what's for dinner?"
" Hmm, I don't know, let's go look."
He stood up, before grabbing my hand pulling me with him. Walking back in the kitchen, he let my hand go, before opening the oven.
A wonderful aroma came out, and my stomach growled. He then turned his head and smirked.
"Look like it's lasagna."
"Yum."
"Go get some plates."
He pointed to a cabinet, and I went over, and opened the door. Oh dear, another complication of being short. Leaning on the counter, I got on my tiptoes trying to reach the plates, and suddenly I felt a arm wrap around my waist.
"Sorry, I forgot how short you were."
He reached grabbing two plates, and I turned giving him a dirty look. He threw me a smirk, and I poutly followed behind him.
The lasagna was delicious, and I decided to do the dishes for now. It was around six, I wonder what we were going to do. Arms then wrapped around my waist, and I tensed looking behind me at him. He had a lazy smile on his face, and I sighed finishing the last plate.
"Zach."
"Hmm?"
"What are you doing?"
"Nothing."
Pinching his hand, he pulled away quickly. He gave me a dirty look, and I smiled drying my hands. Turning around, we stared at each other for a while, before he took a few steps closer, and a smile formed on his face.
"Want to eat the cake now?"
"If you want to."
"Actually I want to eat something else."
He pulled me to his chest, and I looked up into his eyes.
"What do you want to eat?"
He slowly ducked his head, I froze and he went by my lips to my ear.
"You."
I gasp, before he niped my ear. Gripping his shirt, I thought I was going to push him away, but I found myself pulling him closer. My back against the sink, I bit my lower lip looking away, and he pressed his lips to my neck. A shiver went through me, and I pushed him away some, and he chuckled.
"Let's eat some cake."
Pulling away, I glanced at him, and he had turned around. Letting out a deep breath, I stared down at the floor. Was he serious or not, and I bit my lower lip again.
"Melissa."
"Huh?"
Lifting my head, he was holding out a bowl. Smiling, I walked over and took it, and he then smirked walking out the room. Following behind him, we went in the living room, and sat on the couch.
It was quiet between us, this cake was good though. He then put his bowl down, and then stood up. Staring at him questionable, he pointed behind him.
"Bathroom."
Nodding my head, I continued eating my cake as he left out room. Swinging my legs a little, I heard a door open and shut, and I turned my head to see Tiff. She stared at me shocked, before a smile formed on her face.
"Hey pretty girl."
"Hi."
She looked around, then back at me.
"Where is Zach?"
"Bathroom."
She sighed rolling her eyes, before walking over to me. She then pulled something out her pocket, and held out an envelope.
"Please give him this, and tell him happy birthday."
Slowly dropping my spoon in the bowl, and my eyes widen. Slowly reaching and taking the envelope, I gave her a small nod.
"Thanks pretty girl, well see you."
She then ran out of the room, and I heard the door close. Looking at the envelope, I set my bowl on the table. The dinner, the cake, the ice cream; it's his birthday... it all makes sense now. Am I really that big of an idiot, and I lowered my head.
"Hey what's wrong."
Looking up, Zach had came back, and flopped down on the couch. Picking his bowl back up, he looked at me raising an eye brow.
"Tiff was just here."
He cocked his head to the side, and I lifted the envelope up.
"This is for you, and she says Happy Birthday."
His eyes widen, before he set the bowl back down, and took the envelope. Letting out a sigh, he then turned his body to me.
"Guess the cats out of the bag."
"Why didn't you tell me?"
"Would you have done anything different."
"I..."
"It's just another day."
"But it's your birthday."
"And..."
"Why aren't you excited?"
"Because it's not a big deal."
Frowning at his answer, he sighed scratching his head.
"Ok, so you know it's my birthday. What are you going to do about it?"
"I... don't know."
Staring down at my hands, I let out a sigh looking back at him.
"I would have got you something."
A smirk then formed on his face.
"You still can give me something."
"Really what?"
He then leaned closer, my eyes widen, but I didn't move. I felt him slide his hand around my waist, and I hit the couch. He leaned over me, and I bit my lower lip staring at him.
"Give me one of your firsts."
"My firsts?"
"Yeah."
"I don't understand."
"I think you do, let me do something no one has ever done."
Leaning his head down, I felt him run his lips down my neck. I shivered ducking my head, and he hovered over my lips.
"Don't."
Placing my hands on his chest, he moved his and pinned mine down.
"Why not?"
"They're chapped, I suck at it, and... and it's my first time."
He smirked down at me, and I felt my cheeks turning red.
"Well first how do you know you suck at it if it's your first time, and I'm sure they aren't chapped."
Closing my eyes tightly, I felt something hot and wet go over my bottom lip. Opening my eyes, he I found him smirking, before he lowered his head back down.
"Relax."
He whispered, before I felt his lips brush mine, before he pressed them down firmly. It wasn't how I thought my first kiss would be, totally no fireworks or anything, but it does feel good. Like a hot fire going through me, and I closed my eyes back.
Kissing him back slowly, I felt him smile in the kiss, before he pulled away. Opening my eyes, I was expecting a smirk, but when I got a lazy smile, I found myself blushing.
"Did you like it?"
"I... don't know."
He rolled his eyes at me, before shaking his head.
"Wrong answer."
He pressed his face in my neck, and sucked hard on my collar bone. A soft moan fell from my mouth, and he pulled away smiling. Staring in his eyes for a moment, he then nudged my legs open, and leaning down he kissed me again.
Kissing him back, I felt that unusual pressure between my legs. I had an urge to close them, and I turned my head to the side. He laid kissing down my neck, until he moved his leg pressing it up more making me fidget. He then lifted his head staring at me, and his blue eyes were dark, they almost looked wild.
"Melissa."
"Huh?"
"Wrap your arms around my neck."
"Why?"
"Just do it."
He let my hands go, and i wrapped them around his neck. He soon lifted me up, and I was then sitting in his lap. My eyes widen, and he smirked holding onto my waist.
"Now kiss me."
"What?"
"Kiss me."
"Why do I..."
"It's getting late, I'll take you home after you kiss me so..."
Staring into his eyes, I then lowered my gaze to his lips. They were so pink, and I could feel my cheeks heat up. That unusual feeling between my legs increased, and I wiggled a little bit, before leaning forward. Lightly I pressed a kiss to his lips, and pulled away.
He didn't move, and his eyes were still closed. Biting my lower lip, slowly I leaned down and pressed a kiss harder to his lips. Turning his head, he kissed me back, and I closed my eyes back. I felt him squeeze my ass, and I gasp, and the next thing I knew I felt him tongue in my mouth. It stroked my tongue, and another moan fell from my mouth for him to swallow it.
I could feel my whole body heat up,and when he pulled away he left me panting a little. I watched him lick his lips before smiling.
"Ok, ready to go home?"
For some strange reason though, I didn't want to go. So not trusting my mouth, I gave him a little nod.
"You got to get up, and let me go first."
When I didn't move, he raised an eye brow, and he slid his hand on the back of my neck. Pulling my head down, he slid his tongue over my lips, and they parted. I felt him explore my mouth, and I suddenly caught myself running my hands in his hair.
Pulling away this time, he smiled at me.
"Melissa..."
"Yes?"
I saw something flicker in his eyes, before he shook his head.
"Let me take you home, pretty girl."
"Ok."
Slowly forcing myself up, he stood and wrapped his arm around me.
"Your lucky I'm nice to you."
"Huh?"
He smirked walking ahead of me, and I stared at him confused, before slowly running behind him.
What did he mean by that?
