Standing in the rain, I closed my eyes as I lifted my head letting the rain soak me. I seriously hate my life, and I stared at Melissa's house that I was standing in front of at the moment. I don't get it, even without me trying I always tend to end up around here. Maybe it's because it's the only place I really feel comfortable at unlike a home... where he is. Just thinking about it pisses me off, and I opened my eyes.
I had went home, while Melissa was still waiting with her cousin. Laying in my bedroom, I was utterly bored. All my friends were at school unlike me who got sent home early, because of stupid Amanda. I am really tired of her shit, I am totally regretting going out with her. She just needs to stop with everything, like for real.
A door then opened, and I sat up. Maybe that's Tiffany, and I stood up going out my room. Walking down the steps, I stopped when I saw who was coming around the corner. There stood... Dad. In his day suit, his blonde hair was pushed back, and he stared at me with his ice cold blue eyes. Just great of all people I had to see.
"Zachary, what are you doing here?"
"Got sent home."
Turning on my heel, I went back upstairs, but I could hear him coming after me. My arm was soon grabbed, damn he moved fast, and I turned my head to see him glaring down at me.
"What did you do now?"
"I didn't do anything."
Yanking my arm away from him, I took a step away putting some distance between us.
"Then why were you sent home."
"Amanda..."
"What happened now, are you still messing with that nice girl."
Of course you would take her side than your fucken son, and I let out a sigh.
"I ain't messing with her, she won't leave me alone."
He the folded his arms staring at me, and I shoved my hands in my pocket for a moment.
"Well what do you expect, she's in love with you, and your just in denial."
"I ain't in no damn denial."
"Watch your mouth."
"Yeah sorry."
I hate talking to Dad, because all he talks about it stupid Amanda. Not to mention he never listens to what I say or anything.
"I can't believe how we've spoiled you."
"Oh I didn't know leaving me alone was spoiling me."
I mumble trying to turn around, when my shoulder was grabbed Hard and I was pushed against the wall. I winced at the sudden pain, as I stared into Dad's eyes.
"Your attitude right there is going to get you in real trouble one of these days."
"I wonder where I get it from."
He sneared at me, before gripping my shoulder tighter, and I flinched in pain, before giving him a glare.
"You ungrateful little shit, your mother and I work our asses off for you and your sister, and this is how you treat us. You have everything any kid could ask for, but you are never content."
"I never asked for any of this."
I yelled back at him, before pushing him away from me. Holding my shoulder, it hurt like fuck, and I glared at him. I noticed his fists balled up, was he going to hit me again, and I tensed up.
"Dad?"
Turning our heads, Tiffany came up looking up at us.
"Honey what are you doing here?"
"Mom told me you were in town, so I came to see you. Is everything ok?"
I noticed how his whole posture changed, and he gave her a big smile opening his arms. Yeah talk about favourites, and I balled my fists, moving past them, and out the house.
Sighing at what happened, I've been walking for a while until I ended up at Melissa's house. Touching my shoulder, it really did hurt, probably a bruise forming on it. Sighing, I took a deep breath walking toward the door. It seemed that no one was here, and I knocked.
The door soon opened, and I was staring at a shocked Melissa. Giving her a little smile, she grabbed my hand, and pulled my hand going inside.
"What happened Zach?"
"Nothing really."
"Your all wet."
"I know."
She frowned for a moment, before taking my hand, and pulling me through the house. I was led upstairs, and she brought me to her room. I rubbed my shoulder staring at her, it hurt like a bitch. She had started fiddling with her fingers, before she brought her eyes to mine.
"Take off your clothes."
Raising an eyebrow at her, her cheeks turned a dark red.
"What?"
"Your clothes are wet, I can dry them for you, so please... take them off."
A smirk slowly formed on my face, and toed my shoes off, before popping the button to my pants. Blush covered her whole face to her ears, which I found kind of entertaining.
"I'll get you something to put on."
She mumbled, before turning around, and practically ran out of the room. Chuckling, I stripped, before I stretched for a moment. It did feel kind of weird being in just my boxers. Yawning, I sat down on the bed waiting for her to come back. Staring out the window, the rain seemed like it wasn't ever going to stop, and I sighed.
"I found some sweats..."
Turning my attention back to her, she was standing in the door wide eyed. Standing up, I walked over to her, and I noticed how her eyes slowly went down my body, and I folded my arms.
"Like what you see?"
Blinking, she jerked her head up, before biting her lower lip, and holding out the sweat pants. I took them pulling them on, while her eyes stared down at the floor.
"Hey."
Meeting my eyes for a moment, I ran a hand through my hair, before sighing.
"Do you have any advil or something?"
"Yeah, I'll get them."
She moved around me picking up my clothes, before going back out the room. I could tell that she was really nervous, and I went back to the bed. Laying down, my shoulder was kind of throbbing now, and I threw my arm over my eyes.
I must have fell asleep, because I was suddenly jolted awake when something cold touched my cheek. Rolling to my side, Melissa was smiling holding out a gatorade. Sitting up, I took it, and the advil she was handing to them. Washing them down, I set the gatorade on the floor, before laying back down. Letting out a deep breath, I rolled to my side staring at Melissa for a moment.
She gave me a little smile, but I noticed that her eyes were slightly puffy, and I sat up. Moving my hand, I cupped her cheek, before rubbing my thumb under her eye.
"You've been crying?"
"Um..."
She looked away from my eyes, and I noticed her eyes widen for a moment. Pulling my hand away, she moved slowly running her fingers over my shoulder, and I flinched.
"Zach what happened?"
"What is there a bruise?"
"Yeah..."
"My father and I got into it."
"He did that?"
"Yeah."
She met my eyes for a moment, and I could see she was worried. Giving her a little smile, I ran a hand through her hair laying my hand on her neck.
"It doesn't really hurt that much."
She gave me a look showing that she didn't believe me, but she didn't say anything else. Moving her hand, she touched my hand that was on her neck, before closing her eyes.
"Today has been kind of weird."
"Yeah, I know."
"I'm glad it's over."
"Me too."
She opened her eyes for a moment, and her eyes slowly went down my chest again. A smirk formed on my face, and I used my thumb to lift her chin so she was staring up at me again. Raising an eyebrow, her cheeks turned red, and she bit her lower lip.
"So I guess you like what you see."
"Maybe I do, maybe I don't, what you gonna do about it."
A smirk formed on her face too. Man she always get me, Melissa can be the shyest, quietest, girl you would ever meet, but every once and a while she will say these bold comments throwing me off. Well two can play at this game, and I moved my hand pushing her down.
She let out this small gasp in surprise, before I leaned down kissing her hard. Such soft lips, sliding my tongue over them, I sucked her lower one in my mouth swallowing the little moans she was letting out. Pulling away, she opened her eyes staring at me. Her hair was messy, face flushed, lips wet, and it seemed like she was waiting for something from the look in her eyes.
Smirking I shook my head, before rolling beside her, and she rolled on her side staring at me with disappointed eyes. Man if only she knew how hard it is to hold back, and I sighed.
"Don't look at me like that."
Pouting, she moved cuddling to my chest.
"When is your dad coming home?"
"Around one."
"Want to take a nap?"
"It seems that's all we do."
Chuckling, I held her tightly in my arms, and she lifted her head staring into my eyes.
"Well aren't you getting in the position to sleep?"
"Maybe..."
She smiled at me, before laying her head on my chest, and throwing an arm over my stomach. Closing my eyes for a moment, the only thing I could hear was her soft breathing, and the sound of the rain hitting the window. For some reason that really relaxed me, and I started to doze off.
Utter peace
