Closing the door, Lucifer walked over to the bed and sat down.
Caen and Salazar also picked up a chair and sat, facing him.
"Salazar and I will be leaving the Palace tonight. So we need witnesses to prove that we were always inside the Palace in case there is any suspicion on us. Thatâs where you come to play," Lucifer explained as he began talking about the plan.
"After we finish eating, weâll all go to bed. But thatâs when the game starts. At exactly two, Salazar and I will sneak out of this Place. At three, youâll call the Adonis. You can use any excuse as to why you called her. Just make sure she sees you inside the room."

"Half an hour later, youâll change your looks to mine and go to my room. Then youâll do the same thing. Youâll call Adonis and ask her for something. Iâm sure you can think of some excuse."

She was sitting at the same dining table with Cassius and his family.
Many family members of Cassius were taking subtle glances at Alicia, smiling. It was the first time Cassius had brought a lady home, and they all wondered if she was going to be his life partner.
The two of them did seem close as they were often seen talking secretly, only to stop as a family member approached them. That act made people even more suspicious about their relationship.
What they didnât know was that Alicia and Cassius were talking about the plan to infiltrate the Academy of Gifted Variants.
"So, Alicia. What do you think of our Cassius?" Cassiusâs mother asked Alicia.
"Cough! Mother, can you not talk such nonsense?" Cassius replied, coughing. He understood where his mother was getting at.
âYou know, many girls have a crush on him, but he never even looked back. I thought he didnât have any interest in a romantic relationship, but who knows. With the right person, that might change," Cassiusâs mother didnât stop, continuing talking.

Everyone finished their dinner, but Lucifer was still eating. He ate the most out of everyone present here, at the same time, eating for the longest.
Everyone waited for him to finish, sitting at the dinner table.

Lying on his bed, Lucifer closed his eyes as he lost himself in thoughts.

"Thatâs awesome. So howâs the plan going there? Whatâs that place like? Are there any problems?"
"Hmm? Really? You think you can finish the mission in a few days if everything goes right? That would be good.
"About me? We still havenât started. Iâm still in the information collecting phase. Iâll soon begin too, probably tomorrow, since I have received the information I needed. If everything goes right, tomorrow weâll get what we need."

Caen was the only one left in the room, watching Lucifer and Salazar fly away.
"Hopefully, it will be over tonight." He muttered before walking to the bed; he sat down.

Lucifer and Salazar flew through the dark skies of the Divine Empire. As the night was darker than usual because of no moon presence in the sky, he had an easier time staying hidden.
Soon, he and Salazar reached the Royal Palace, where the peak power of this Empire stayed.
"Letâs find the weakest part of their defense," Lucifer said, flying closer to the Royal Palace.
