Chapter 140
Belong to the Lycan Alpha
Hunter was very cruel with his method and no one would be able to deny how efficient he was. Not only he managed to catch the three people, but his sources were able to get important information about them.
These three men were Rubbyâs family.
Brian was her father, this was the man with the look of rogue, a man who growled a lot when he was being dragged here and the younger one was Banco, Rubbyâs eldest brother, someone who had tortured her to work harder and take the money from her back when she was still with them and the third man was Rubbyâs uncle, Derek, he was Brianâs younger brother.
These men had created hell when Rubby still stayed with them. Aiden knew that, but why he chose to get them here and involve them in whatever sickening plan he had. He knew very well how much Rubby hated them.
But now, her nightmare was right before her eyes when she thought she already managed to free herself from them.
âYou donât look happy with the gift from us, luna Ruby?â Lilac asked, she looked relax, sitting on her chair while observing Rubyâs reaction to see the three men. âYou donât like it? Because you have been away from your village for so long, so I thought you will be happy to see them again, arenât they your father, brother and uncle?â
Lilac was also shocked to learn these three peopleâs background and realized how shallow Aiden could be when he hired them to get the job done. They were literally rogue, how could Aiden expect a clean job from them when they didnât have the skill?
Ruby felt her throat was very dry when her father called her name harshly with demanding tone like he used to do. She felt like she was that little girl again, who was helpless and hopeless against them.
âRuby! Come here and save us!â Brian growled, as he treated his daughter like he used to do it. Their wound had healed, but because of the silver chain around their ankles and wrists, there was nothing much they could do. âHow dare you only standing there and do nothing?! You are the luna of this pack, right?! Tell him to do something!â
Brian even had the audacity to get Aiden into this. After all, he was the one, who ordered them and gave this task, thinking if they failed, they would be killed, but this was out of Aidenâs calculation. He didnât think Hunter would bring them here instead. Alive.
âAlpha Aiden! Save us! Save us!â Banco started wailing and crawling toward Aiden, the torture was very brutal, if he was not a shifter with a great healing ability, he was sure that he would have died by now.
âThis is the gift from me and alpha Hunter,â Lilac said to Ruby, her eyes pierced through Rubyâs heart, even though Lilac was smiling kindly at her. âI hope you like this reunion. More so, the baby should know his family too, right?â
Ruby couldnât utter a single word. She was not even sure when exactly she turned around and rushed out of the main hall, she was vomiting in the garden. The thought of her family was close har O 12:15 Fri, 8 Mar RG.

to her son was sickening.
âAre you still saying that you didnât know them, alpha Aiden?â Hunter put his focus back on Aiden, whose face had turned a few shades darker. If he could, he would have pounced onto Hunter and killed him right there and then, unfortunately, he was not the strongest and he would put himself in greater trouble if he did that.
With this alone, it had proven that he had breached the peace treaty between the werewolf and the lycan.
âHere! Take this and leave!â
Suddenly luna Jasmine grabbed her necklace until it snapped and then threw it on the floor. This was the same necklace that Aiden promised to give it to Hunter when he let his healer to help during the labor.
However, things had escalated too quickly and this was not only about necklace. It was a whole different thing entirely.
âTake that and leave!â Luna Jasmine was not a fool, she could see how her son was in dire situation and her first instinct was to save him, she needed to make this alpha lycan to go. âYou only came here for the necklace, right? Not for the festivity and the celebration of the heir for the pack.â
âI am afraid there will be no pack to inherit for your grandson if alpha Aiden couldnât come with a reasonable reason about why he sent these people to our pack and shelter criminal here.â Rye took over-Hunterâs role to question them.
âHow dare you to say something like that!â
There was more commotion that happened, but then alpha Derryl shouted. His voice boomed inside the main hall, silenced everyone.
âIf alpha Aiden was proven for the crime, he needs to stand for trial! This has nothing to do with the other pack! If alpha Aiden was guilty, he needed to pay for his own crime!â Alpha Derrylâs suggestion got a lot of support from his fellow alpha, they were relieved because they could get away from this trouble that alpha Aiden caused, after all they didnât want to go for another war with the lycan. âAlpha Aidenâs action didnât represent the rest of the five packs!â
Lilac blinked her eyes, she stared at her mate with eyes full of admiration because everything went as per Hunter had predicted.
Trial for Aiden.
That was Hunterâs aim. He wanted Aiden to stand for trial and the rest of the werewolf pack witnessed it. This plan was very meticulous and complicated, but Hunter could achieve it. He didnât even need to be the one, who suggested it.
âAlpha Aidenâs crime is so big, but we need to follow the rule.â The other alpha added, reminding them that the alpha from each pack had a trial to formally prove them wrong, since the title meant a lot and carry so much responsibility, thus the trial would decide.
âSure.â Hunter nodded, which made luna Jasmine became hysterical.

A trial for an alpha was a big deal. Aiden could get death penalty, especially when he was proven with a crime of breaching the peace treaty and any other crimes.
5 In this case, Aiden wouldnât allow to gather support from another pack, which meant, if he was proven wrong and got the death penalty, there was nothing he could do, but waited for his demise. There was no war that he could weigh, since he would lose all of his support.
This was the worst case ever for Aiden.
The alpha from the Golden Claw pack wouldnât have any power to fight the result of the trial and Juna Jasmine knew that. With all of these evidences, her son wouldnât stand a chance to leave unscathed.
âNO!â luna Jasmine wailed, she immediately rushed toward Aiden and hugged her precious son. âNO!
There must be something wrong here! There must be something not right!â
On the other hand, Aiden looked like he was going to kill Hunter insteadâ¦
