Chapter 171

Aiden only realized that he was being schemed when he saw warriors chased after him. His escape should be smooth sailing and he shouldn’t be chased down, instead these people should help him.

But apparently, they took him as a fool, thus they thought it was easy to trick him.

After he realized what was going on, he immediately tried to escape, but it didn’t matter again once he knew that he was surrounded. There was no way for him to escape from the situation.

He knew that he was trapped without a chance to get himself out of the situation, but in his desperate attempt, the lycan came.

At first, he thought these lycan came from alpha Hunter’s pack, but when he watched how they fought his chaser and guided him to safety place, he realized it was not part of alpha Hunter’s pack.

This lycan must be the one that had worked with alpha Kellan, but he didn’t know why they saved him.

However, soon he learned the main reason behind it and now he had to choose what was best for him.

“You need to choose wisely,” a woman said. She looked beautiful, but a little bit gloomy with long, black hair that covered her face.

Aiden stared at her, but he couldn’t figure out what her main agenda. He was not sure that he was able to make the right decision at time like this, because this decision not only would affect his life, but also his entire plan.

“I need time to think what should I do.” Aiden tried to buy himself more time, but the woman didn’t seem to be happy with his answer.

“You have an hour to think about it over, if you couldn’t come up with a decision, we will decide it for you.” She then slammed the door after what she said and then left Aiden inside this small room again without anything, but a bowl of soup and a piece of meat.

From outside, she shouted again, reminding him about the sacrifice that the lycan had done in order to keep his ass safe.

“You have killed a hundred of lycan! You need to remember that! Their blood is in your hand!”

Aiden gritted his teeth. He didn’t like to be threatened, but he was not in the position to have a freedom to choose what he wanted.

This place apparently was the hiding place of these lycans. Somehow, Kellan managed to find 10:13 Mon, 22 Apr 09 them and worked together with them to take down Hunter’s pack, because they said, that pack was supposed to be their pack and they had been shooed away for almost two decades.

Aiden was not aware of their situation with Hunter’s pack or his father, who was at that time was the alpha. If they were really being told to leave the pack, it must be Hunter’s father, who had done it.

And right now, they demanded Aiden to help them to get rid of Hunter. Of course, this was a great opportunity. This was Aiden’s main goal too. He would accept the offer without a second thought only if what entailed behind it was not really ridiculous.

They demanded him to be part of this pack. No. To be precise, they wanted him to be mated with that gloomy woman and made her his luna.

This was not in his agenda to take some random woman as his luna, more so, he didn’t have a pack or any forces to rely on. Why would they want him to be the alpha?

Didn’t the lycan not like it when they had to mate with the other shifters aside from their kind? This one thing confused Aiden, but he couldn’t voice it out and tried his best to stay alive in their den.

Even if he managed to kill Hunter, he only wanted that woman to be by his side, whether she was willing or not or even if he had to use force.

Meanwhile, Lilac was currently hugging her lovely mate, being a little bit clingy toward him “because she wanted to go.

“Let’s go home…” Lilac said, she whimpered, she didn’t like to be here. They had been here for two weeks and Hunter had been busy with the newly formed group that consisted with the warriors from all the packs, including the lycan.

This group was created to hunt Aiden down, but alpha James seemed to make things difficult, because luna Jasmine didn’t agree with the idea, the luna found this plan horrendous.

“Okay, give me one more week, okay?” Hunter tried to coax her, his heart felt so warm when he heard the way Lilac called their pack as home. It meant, she already thought as part of the lycan pack and not this pack. “I will wrap everything up very quickly. Or…”

Lilac raised her head and looked at Hunter, sulking.

“Or… you can go first and I will come after a week.”

“No.” Lilac immediately rejected the idea. Recently, her emotions were all over the places.

“What about I called Raya over so she could spend time with you?” He suggested. He caressed her cheek and kissed her lips.

“Okay.” Lilac liked the idea and two days later, Raya arrived to stay with them.

This was the first time for Raya to be in another pack.
