“Lilac, I want to tell you about an unpleasant news. Luna Jasmine felt so bitter. It was her, who had taught Lilac everything that she knew today and all the mannerism that she needed to have as the future luna of the pack, but then everything went to the drain when this alpha lycan came and wanted to take her away.

How could she take that? lilac was a perfect daughter in law for her and she had learned how to be a good Juna for the pack and a perfect mate for Aiden.

And now, she had to let her go and wasted everything she had worked on when that nasty alpha lycan took her away.

“What is it, mother? I mean, luna Jasmine,” Lilac asked. She used to call luna Jasmine as her mother, since she didn’t have one, neither she knew who was her mother, but she should stop to call her that, because she was no longer Aiden’s mate and luna Jasmine would never be her mother.

On the other hand, luna Jasmine felt this pang in her heart when she heard that and this made Lilac felt so bad to see the sadness in her eyes. She felt so tired and forgot about everything that happened.

However, before luna Jasmine could say anything, someone had banged the door and asked Lilac to come out, which startled them.

“Lilac! We need to talk!” Aiden refused to leave before he talked with his mate. He adamantly rejected the fact she would be taken away under his nose. “I didn’t mean to banish you from the pack! You need to listen to me!” Aiden shouted from behind the door and they could hear how alpha James tried to calm his son down.

“What is it? What is going on?” Lilac felt something was completely wrong with this whole situation.

Why the people kept saying she would go somewhere? “What happened, luna Jasmine?”

Aside from Aiden and alpha James’s voices, they could hear alpha Hunter talked something in the background, but they couldn’t figure out what he said, only it sounded like a mocking, which only ser Aiden more off.

“Lilac, I know this must be shocked you, but you should know that I have done everything in my power to prevent this from happening”

Lilac felt frustrated because luna Jasmine didn’t talk straight to the point and this made her felt even more anxious with the way she talked to her.

Lilac, alpha Hunter asked for you,” luna Jasmine finally said it, after she sighed deeply. “He wants you to come to his pack, as a symbol of a peace treaty between us. In exchange, he will release all the prison wars.”

“What?!” Lilac was dumbstruck, this was the last thing she needed when she felt slightly better after the tonic Hunter gave to her last night, never in her wildest dream she would imagine something like this thight happen to her. “What he wanted!”

Luna Jasmine immediately grabbed both of her hands and lowered her voice when she spoke again.

“Don’t worry, Lilac. I have figured out a way for you to stay. Or at least, you will return to the pack soon.”

Lilac’s mind was still reeling with the fact that Hunter wanted to take her away. How could he strike such deal with the other alpha?

But then, she immediately remembered luna Jasmine said, she would be an exchange of those prison wars. Of course, no one would object such deal.
