A Talk with Jiang Xing (2)
She moved her school bag and changed her seat, sitting down beside Yu Qingshi. She pushed the carton of milk to him, âHere, I bought it for you.â
Yu Qingshi glanced at the milk.
It was sticky, sour and sweet. He didnât like it.
But he didnât care!
Jiang Xiaoman thought for a while and asked, âAre you angry that I came on stage to speak? The teacher said that you couldâve gone up as well, but youâre such a boring gourd.â
Was he angry?
âNo.â
Jiang Xiaoman asked him again. âThen why are you ignoring me?â
âIâm not ignoring you.â
Jiang Xiaoman curled her lips, âIf youâre not ignoring me, then why are you not looking at me?â
When he heard those words, Yu Qingshi turned his head and looked at her without blinking, âIs this fine?âVissit for updates
â...â Itâs fine if itâs not fine.
Why would she argue with him anyways?
An adult would not hold a childâs mistakes against them. Ye Jiajia said that even if boys got to junior high, they would still be awkward boys, and wouldnât be as mature as her!
Jiang Xiaoman was also angry.
However, she was a magnanimous person, so she decided to only be angry for the duration of one class and forgave him when class was over.
The people around them already went quiet.
Yu Qingshi touched the box of strawberry milk with his hands, and could still vaguely feel a little bit of warmth.
He removed the straw, took a long sip, and said, âThank you. I like it very much.â
âYouâre welcome!â
Jiang Xiaoman was happy now, and decided to forgive him immediately.
âIs there really nothing youâre not used to?â Jiang Xing didnât believe it.
âIf there is any difference, it is probably that the textbooks are thicker than the elementary schoolâs, and there are more subjects to learn. Other than that, it seems that there is no difference.â
Jiang Xiaoman scratched her head and thought about it for a while, and then said, âThe teachers are very kind, and the students are very enthusiastic. There is nothing wrong.â
After a pause, Jiang Xiaoman lowered her head and played with her fingers, âHowever, I looked through the textbook and found that the contents are really difficult.â
Difficult was good!
There was finally a place for Uncle to come into play!
Jiang Xing said immediately, âThatâs okay, if itâs too difficult, just tell me. Uncle will find a teacher for you who will help you with your studies.â
âBut I usually study with Yu Qingshi.â
âThatâs different. Itâs someone elseâs teacher, youâre just hitching a ride.â Jiang Xingâs heart finally became warm, feeling that he was finally no longer just a side snack. He could finally spend effort and money for his niece! âDonât worry, Uncle will find the most suitable home tutor for you, who would be responsible for you alone! Especially tutors for your cultural classes! In the future, you donât need to go to Yu Qingshiâs, just study at home.â
Jiang Xiaoman hesitated for a while and nodded.
After all, there were a lot of subjects to learn. If she still went to trouble Yu Qingshi every time, it would definitely affect him, right?
Then, she should follow Uncleâs instructions.
So, the conversation between the uncle and niece ended nicely.
Although it did not get to sooth Jiang Xiaomanâs mind, Jiang Xing was very happy to be able to contribute some money.
Hey, itâs not good for a child to cause no worry at all.
The parents would have no sense of accomplishment at all.
After a week, Jiang Xiaoman had basically adapted to the rhythm of life in junior high school without any discomfort.
It was just that while she was very good at adapting to it, the same might not necessarily be true for others.
On Monday morning, Jiang Xiaoman happily went to school with her school bag on her back. When she entered the school hall, she met an old acquaintance who was crying after being caught by the teacher.
It was Ye Jiajia.
âXiaoman, wuu wuu wuu... Xiaoman, please help me...â
